Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kantenschutzschiene für Stufen mit wenigstens zwei L-förmig zueinander stehenden Schenkeln, von denen der eine ein Befestigungsschenkel und der andere ein Kantenschutzschenkel ist, der im Verlegungszustand eine von der Stufe abgewandte Stirnseite besitzt, wobei der Kantenschutzschenkel an seinem oberen freien Ende eine über seine Stirnseite überstehende Wulst besitzt und wobei sich aus der Wulst ein im wesentlichen parallel zum Befestigungsschenkel stehender, frei endender Nasensteg fortsetztThe invention relates to an edge protection rail for steps with at least two L-shaped legs, one of which has a mounting leg and the other is an edge protection leg, which in the installed state has the end facing away from the step, the Edge protection leg at its upper free end one over has a protruding bulge on its front side and where from the bead a substantially parallel to the mounting leg standing, freely ending nose bridge continues

An edge protection rail of the type mentioned is out DE-U-8 605 216 known. It consists of a length a U-shaped cross-sectional profile with two at a distance from each other, arranged over a yoke-shaped wall section of the profile are connected. The Wall section sits on one side of the profile in one Tab away. The tab is with groove-shaped depressions Mistake. The wall section is on the thighs averted side with a convex shape provided bead-like projection. On the upper leg anti-slip elevations are arranged.

Unterhalb des länger ausgebildeten unteren Profils ist ein senkrecht stehender Schenkel angeordnet.DE-U-9 211 120 describes a device for renovation worn stairs known, which two on top of each other and has parallel arranged profiles that a concave front panel connected together are. Below the longer profile is lower a vertical leg is arranged.

In US-A-4 151 320 is a flexible anti-slip Molded for stairs revealed that from an upper Thigh consists of a bead body in one perpendicular to this edge protection leg transforms. The upper leg is at least partially wedge-shaped and triangular on its top Provide increases.

Fliesenverbund gehalten. The disadvantage of these three known edge protection rails, that the upper leg for stairs with a Cladding material to be provided is too narrow and the cladding material from damage protects. In addition, the stair rail is not safe in the Stair or tile composite kept.

An edge protection rail for steps is from the AT brochure "The indispensable helpers for every carpet, PVC and Tile laying ", KÜGELE KG, 1982, excerpt sheets 1 to 4, known. The edge protection rail is L-shaped and exists from a fastening and an edge protection leg. The edge protection leg consists of one first by 90 °, a second by 135 ° and a third by 180 ° bevelled compared to the straight mounting leg Partial legs together. The middle leg is included covered and connected to the mounting leg.

The disadvantage is that due to the partial legs when installed Edge protection rail for the user the risk of slipping consists. In addition, due to the inclination of the middle part of the leg is shortened.

Furthermore, from DE-A-3 636 874 there is an edge protection rail known from a horizontal kick part and a vertical butt part. The bottom of the step part has a tooth-like profile.

The disadvantage is that despite the profiling, the possibility of tearing off. With heavy loads, the with an adhesive between the edge protection rail and the connection made to the underground the occurring high forces are not sufficient, so that this damages the Stair edges and can lead to accidents.

It therefore has the task of an edge protection rail the kind mentioned at the beginning so that they develop Cladding material protects against damage and safely is held.

According to the invention, this object is achieved through the features of Claim 1 solved.

Due to the edge protection rail instead of very expensive, wear-resistant carpets inexpensive and instead of hardwoods (tropical woods) softer woods like Pine or the like be used.

The edge protection rail can also be used as edge protection for vertical corners in tile coverings.

If the edge protection rail is laid, its parts large area with a leaking fastener, e.g. B. Surrounded or contacted mortar, adhesive or the like. The fastener also penetrates into the area through the nose bridge and the fastening leg as well the stair cladding or the tile covering is formed, on. As a result, the edge protection rail is held securely in the staircase or tile composite. A tear is therefore practically excluded. The edge protection rail enables it, the strength of natural stones, such as Reduce marble, between 40 and 70%, preferably 60%, because it was relined with mortar becomes.

Due to the angled nose-shaped extension the Edge protection rail given another hold. About that In addition, the cladding material for the stairs is in front Damage protected.

In order to better adapt to certain circumstances, the nose bridge extends to about half the width of the fastening leg. Of course it is also possible that the nose bridge and the fastening leg in about are the same length.

In order to ensure the sure-footedness of the bead, it advantageously has a curve that extends over at least 90 ° on, the supernatant is about 0.3 to 1 cm.

It is advantageous if the edge protection leg overlaps the connection area between the edge protection leg and Attachment leg to form a T-shaped configuration continues, which consists of edge protection and fastening legs as well as continuation is formed. This gives the edge protection rail further fastening and protection promoting Characteristics. On the one hand, this is the edge protection rail held securely on the stairs and on the other the stair nosing is safely protected. It goes without saying a known L configuration is also possible.

To increase the hold of the edge protection rail in the edge area, go over the flat sides of the mounting rail Fillets in a flat side of the edge protection leg about. Through this transition, the fastener can be very adhere well.

It is advantageous if on at least one of the flat sides the leg adhesion-increasing structures are provided. These structures that increase adhesion can preferably be used as grooves and / or as one towards the Fastening leg formed projection his. The opposite side is advantageous straight or corrugated, advantageously provided with a smooth outer surface. With these increasing liability Structures is an even stronger bond with given the fastener. A violent tearing off of the Edge protection rail is only by cutting the solidified fasteners. In order to the adhesiveness is increased even further.

In addition, contribute to a further increase in liability advantageously openings in the fastening leg at. Such openings can also be made in the edge protection legs be introduced. It is advantageous if the Bead starting from the edge protection leg rounded in the Nose bridge merges. The bead can be spherical, elliptical or the like. It is possible about it in addition, the bead thus formed with additional liability-increasing structures, e.g. B. trapezoidal or sawtooth-shaped Increases. This will make it a safer Hold guaranteed when climbing the stairs.

It is advantageous if the fastening leg, the Edge protection leg, the bead, the nose bridge, the nose-shaped Extension and the liability increasing structures in one piece from kneadable metallic materials such as Brass or the like in the extrusion or extrusion process are manufactured. This is a very even and Technically favorable production of the Edge protection rail possible. The surface finish can being "brushed" and "polished". As other materials can be plastics, composite materials or others Metals (aluminum, steel) in question.

The edge protection leg 2.1 is on the fastening leg 1.1 opposite side 3 '' smooth. On the side 3 '' 'pointing to the fastening leg 1.1 adhesion-increasing grooves 8.1 are arranged. This increases liability Grooves are formed by the fact that the smooth surface trapezoidal elevations are located. Between The trapezoidal ridges are essentially one projection 10.1 parallel to the fastening leg arranged. The front of the projection 10.1 is rounded. At its front is angled to the mounting leg 1.1 pointing a nose bridge 4.1 arranged. The Angle between the edge protection leg 2.1 and the nose bridge 4.1 is about 90 °. At the front of the nose bridge 4.1 there is a nose-shaped one Extension 5.1 molded, also at an angle of 90 °.

All inside and outside edges in this area are rounded. In the angular range between the Edge protection leg 2.1 and the nose bridge 4.1 is one after externally pointing cylindrical bead 3.3 is formed, the protrudes about 3 mm above the top of the nose bridge. This nose-shaped bead 3.1 contributes significantly Sure-footedness of the edge protection rail. Of course it is also possible to use differently shaped curves, e.g. B. to use partially ellipsoidal or parabolic cross-sections. In addition, as in the connection area 6.1 a secure and torsionally rigid bond between the fastening leg 1.1, the edge protection leg 2.1 and given the nose bridge 4.1. Canceling these parts is practically not possible due to these material reinforcements.

It also consists of one Fastening leg 1.2 through a connection area 6.2 is connected to an edge protection leg 2.2. The fastening leg is tapering towards its free end trained and has adhesion-increasing on its underside Grooves 9.1 and one on its opposite side smooth surface. In the connection area 6.2 are between the inner surface of the mounting leg 1.2 and the both surfaces of the fastening leg fillets 7.2 and 11.2 arranged.

During the edge protection leg 2.2 on its outside (Face) is smooth, has its inside a projection 10.2, which is rounded forward. about the projection 10.2 is substantially perpendicular to the Fastening leg 1.2 showing nose bridge 4.2 arranged. It has a nose-shaped extension on its underside 5.2. In the angular area between the edge protection leg 2.2 and the nose bridge 4.2 is also an outward pointing here Bead 3.2 integrally formed, which is formed as already described is.

Another embodiment of an edge protection rail is shown in Fig. 3 shown. It also consists of an elongated, fastening leg tapering to its free end 1.3, on which a connection area 6.3 an edge protection leg 2.3 is formed. In the edge area 6.3 fillets 7.3 and 11.3 are molded. On The edge protection leg 2.3 has one end about 90 ° angled, pointing to the fastening leg 1.3 Nose bridge 4.3 on which a nose-shaped extension 5.3 is arranged. In the angular range between the Edge protection leg 2.3 and the nose bridge 4.3 is also here a bulge bulged outwards 3.3. It is like already trained in detail above. At the for Fastening leg 1.3 showing the inside Edge protection leg 2.3 on grooves 8.3 increasing adhesion. It is essential that the edge protection leg 2.3 a Has a Γ-shaped configuration. Like the edge protection leg 2.3 an F-shaped configuration of the edge legs 2.1 and 2.3, they can also be Γ-shaped be and on the inside increasing liability Wear grooves. The number of grooves and their configuration is the height of the edge protection leg and the Use case determined.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, one is essentially fastening legs 1.1 of equal length, 1.2 or 1.3 an edge protection leg 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3 different Height and design of the fastening leg 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3 showing the inside. You can use a T configuration or a Form L configuration. The bulge 3.1, 3.2 or 3.3 is at the individual edge protection rail variants are the same. The length of the nose bridge 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 is in relation to the height of the edge protection limb 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3. Which is in the direction of the grooves with increased adhesion 9.1, 9.2 or 9.3 provided surface of the fastening leg extend 3 'of the edge protection leg is at trained all three variants approximately the same length. Hereby it is possible to look at the cladding material of the stairs adapt.

Due to the essentially identical training more essential Parts of the edge protection rail are used for all three design variants a secure hold in the fastener is guaranteed. In addition, by the same trained bead 3.1, 3.2 or 3.3 for equal surefootedness or a same appearance. The strengths of Fastening legs 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 can be used with each other trained equally or according to the conditions of use be reinforced or reduced. The same also applies to the edge protection leg 2.1, 2.2 or 2.3. It is of course advantageous to have mounting legs and Edge protection leg in all three variants approximately the the same strength as for example for the flatbed mortar laying is necessary and known.

The edge protection rail according to FIGS. 1 to 3 is advantageously in one piece from kneadable materials in the extrusion process shaped. These are used advantageously the materials brass or other stainless metals, Plastics, especially rigid PVC, the corresponding can be colored, or made of plastic or other materials imitated marble or stone replicas. By the choice of material will change the firmness and appearance affects the stair nosing. The surface can be retrofitted "finely brushed" or polished.

All edge protection rails can be provided with openings his. These openings are in the mounting leg 1.2 arranged. Such breakthroughs are also possible to be inserted in the edge protection leg. The breakthroughs serve to absorb excess mortar when laying.

As shown in Fig. 4, becomes an edge protection rail 2, is placed on a concrete step 13 Layer of mortar applied to the outside. On one Marble slabs 15 are placed on the outside of the concrete step and on the other outside of the mounting leg of the Edge protection rail arranged as shown. After that with the help of another layer of mortar, 14 marble slabs 12 laid on top of the concrete step 13. Due to the special design of the fastening leg 1.2 this is later firmly enclosed in all sides Mortar 14 embedded what 6.2 through openings is improved.

The marble slab 12 only needs to have a width how the nose-shaped extension 4.2 leaves free. So that can up to 60% in marble can be saved. Determining for that Height of the edge protection leg 2.2, measured as a distance from Surface of fastening leg 1.2 to surface of nose bridge 4.2, the total thickness of a marble slab is 12 or Thickness of marble slab 12 plus mortar lining. The itself in the cavity between the marble slab 15 and the Fillet area 11.1 and in the filling area between the marble slab 12 and that through the interior of the protrusion 10.2 and the nose bridge 4.2 with its nose-shaped Extension 5.2 mortar ensures a firm connection of the edge protection rail to the marble slabs 12 and 15. The edge protection rail is in the overall network between Concrete 13 and the marble slabs 12 and 15 held securely. It also ensures that the marble slabs 12 and 15 are practically undamaged and above experienced another connection to the concrete 13. When entering the stairs, on the one hand is through the edge protection leg 2.2 the corner area protected and on the other the person moving on the stairs through the bulge 3.2 secured from slipping off the stairs. It is it is also possible to provide the marble steps with a recess, as well as the extension 4.2 recessed can be.

The use of the edge protection rail as a vertical edge protection for tile coverings, as described in detail above is preferably used in commercial kitchens, Butchers. Bakeries, on elevators, on pillars, on window reveals and the same.

When laying the edge protection rail are in mortar or alternatively, when gluing in, no additional fastening anchors necessary. The edge protection rail is designed that she can hold herself.

Due to the protruding arched bulge 3.1, ..., 2.3 Shocks and impacts occurring evenly on the transfer the entire profile body of the edge protection rail Due to the even distribution of the forces, they become evenly on the surface, i.e. the marble slabs, transfer the tiles or the like. Especially thin-walled Marble slabs and thin-walled tiles can therefore absorb occurring impact forces in such a way that none of them Jumping, breaking or the like can occur.

Finally, it should be mentioned that the edge protection rails according to 1 to 3 in addition to the metals already mentioned and Plastics made from all organic and inorganic substances can be made in any way can be shaped or deformed.
