Es ist von Vorteil, daß der zweite Schenkel am Ende des ersten Schenkels angeformt ist. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung wird vom auf eine Kleiderstange aufgesteckten Stangenreiter die Kleiderstange mit einem Teilbereich der Innenfläche der ersten Schenkel oben beaufschlagt und mit einem Teilbereich der Seitenfläche des zweiten Schenkels unten beaufschlagt. Um diese Wirkung zu erzielen, ist es von Vorteil, wenn der zweite Schenkel am ersten Schenkel derart angeformt ist, daß ein spitzer Winkel zwischen den beiden Schenkeln ausgebildet wird. Es ist von Vorteil, wenn der Informationsträger insgesamt eine symmetrische Form aufweist. Die beiden ersten Schenkel des Informationsträgers gehen von einem gemeinsamen Ausgangspunkt aus, an welchem auch ein Informationsschild angeformt ist, welches sich in Richtung weg von den beiden Schenkeln in entgegengesetzter Richtung zum Klemmaul erstreckt. Das Informationsschild kann sich dabei in Richtung der Stangenachse erstrecken oder aber auch quer dazu. Es ist bevorzugt vorgesehen, daß am Ausgangspunkt der beiden ersten Schenkel eine Rastöffnung vorgesehen ist, in die ein korrespondierender Rastabschnitt des Informationsschildes einklipsbar ist. Zufolge dieser Ausgestaltung ist es ermöglicht, daß das Informationsschild nach dem Anbringen des Informationsträgers auf der Stange eingeklipst werden kann. Die Rastverbindung zwischen Informationsschild und der Halteklammer kann dabei so vorgenommen sein, daß ein nachträgliches Auswechseln der Informationsschilder möglich ist. Die Halteklammer weist an den Enden ihrer beiden ersten Schenkel, welche die Öffnung des C-förmigen Klemmauls ausbilden, eine Auflaufschräge auf. Diese Auflaufschräge ist an einer Spreizbacke angeordnet, die sich den Enden der ersten Schenkel anschließt. Um einen sicheren Klemmsitz zu erzielen, ist der Abstand der freien Enden der ersten Schenkel kleiner als der größte Abstand gegenüberliegenden Innenflächen der ersten Schenkel. Hierdurch ein sicherer Klemmsitz gewährleistet.
