Description

The invention relates to a ballast leveling machine with a machine frame supported on rail bogies, a ballast plow that is height-adjustable by drives, a height-adjustable and rotatable sweeping brush, a suction arrangement that has a vacuum generator, and with a driving cabin.

Damit kann der beim Arbeitseinsatz der Kehrbürste auftretende Staub sofort abgesaugt und dessen die Umwelt beeinträchtigender Austritt weitgehend vermieden werden.EP 0 418 428 A1 describes such a ballast leveling machine for profiling the ballast bedding of a track, the sweeping brush being arranged in a suction box connected to the vacuum generator. This means that the dust that occurs when the sweeping brush is in use can be vacuumed off immediately and its discharge, which has an adverse effect on the environment, can be largely avoided.

From DE 21 36 306 A a track-traveling device for lifting ballast from track systems is also known. For this purpose, a pivotable boom connected to a suction pipe is provided on a vehicle. The intake manifold is cantilevered over an end cab and is connected at the nozzle end to vibratable tools for loosening the ballast to be extracted.

Further such suction pipes projecting over a vehicle end for suctioning track ballast are also known from DE 91 11 238 U1, DE 90 00 529 U1 and EP 0 485 810 A1.

In addition, a machine frame composed of two articulated frame parts is known from US Pat. No. 5,052,132, with a height-adjustable ballast plow in front in the direction of travel and a ballast silo and a rear brush part being assigned to the rear frame part.

The object of the present invention is to create a ballast leveling machine of the type described in the introduction, with which a desired profiling of the ballast bed can also be carried out in problem areas restricting the use of the ballast plow or the sweeping brush.

This object is achieved by the features stated in the characterizing part of claim 1. The special combination results from this combination of features Combination effect that within the scope of a single work passage immediately after a proper and performance-free reprofiling by the ballast plow, a prescribed and thus very effective ballast extraction can also be carried out in the problem areas of the track by means of a targeted and therefore very effective ballast extraction. Thanks to the suction nozzle protruding over the rear end of the machine, this can be quickly and precisely adjusted from the driver's cab to the extraction areas so that excess ballast or accumulated dirt can be sucked off without impairing the continuous work approach of the ballast leveling machine. With the two-part frame design, on the one hand the sweeping brush can be arranged between the rail undercarriages while avoiding an overhang of the machine frame that overlaps the rear rail undercarriage, and on the other hand a driving cabin can be easily provided at the rear end of the machine for precise observation of the suction nozzle positioning.

The development according to claim 2 creates the advantageous possibility of storing the excess ballast picked up from the track on the machine and carrying it in order to be able to replenish track areas with a lack of ballast if necessary.

The features according to claims 3 and 4 ensure both a storage trip of the suction nozzle in its decommissioning position, which does not interfere with the transfer travel, as well as a very versatile adjustability of the nozzle in use in relation to the machine frame, in order to accumulate ballast regardless of its location or the location of the problem area, e.g. B. a line conductor to be able to suction.

The further development according to claims 5 and 6 allows a simple and problem-free separation of the suctioned ballast from the suction air flow and transporting the ballast to the ballast silo for the purpose of possible re-throwing into the track if necessary. Here, the design according to claims 7 and 8 also proves to be particularly advantageous, since in this way the dust produced during the suction can be filtered out in an environmentally friendly manner and disposed of when the machine is at a standstill.

The arrangement of the ballast silo behind the ballast plow, as described in claim 9, creates the advantage that the operator has an unobstructed view of the plow and can optimally control it during work.

The feature according to claim 10 offers the possibility to carry sweeping brushes in different widths on the machine and - depending on requirements - quickly exchange them, so z. B. to be able to sweep a switch or crossing area completely over its entire width.

Finally, a variant according to claims 11 and 12 enables an additional expansion of the possible uses of the machine according to the invention. With the ballast storage, relatively large amounts of ballast can now be carried on the machine in order to be thrown off in track areas with greatly increased ballast demand. For this purpose, the ballast can easily be fed to the ballast silo or its outlet chutes via the floor conveyor belt.

The invention is described in more detail below with reference to two exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing.

The suction arrangement 17 is provided with a suction nozzle 20 which projects beyond the rear end 21 of the machine with respect to the direction of travel and which is connected to the vacuum generator 16 by means of a flexible suction pipe 22. The suction nozzle 20 is designed to be adjustable by means of drives 40, 41, 44 - to be described in more detail in FIGS. 2 and 3 - via a control device 23 located in the adjacent driving cabin 19. Furthermore, a conveyor belt 24 running in the longitudinal direction of the machine is provided on the second frame part 3, the lower, receiving end of the sweeping brush 18 and the higher, discharge-side end of which is assigned to the ballast silo 14 arranged on the first frame part 2, the sweeping brush 18 additionally having a cross conveyor belt 25 is equipped for lateral ballast discharge.

The suction arrangement 17 has, between the suction nozzle 20 and the vacuum generator 16, a cyclone separator 26 integrated in the suction pipe 22, the outlet opening 27 located in the lower end region of which is followed by a lock chamber 28 with a remotely controllable discharge opening 29. This is located directly above the conveyor belt 24 and is thus connected to the ballast silo 14. The suction air flow coming from the cyclone separator 26 is passed via the suction pipe 22 into a fine dust filter unit 30, in which the filtered-out dust is collected in a V-shaped storage device 31 in order to be discharged if necessary via a screw conveyor 32 located in its lower end region.

In a holder 33 connected to the machine frame 4 or the second frame part 3, an additional sweeping brush 34 is detachably mounted and by means of a Drive 35 height adjustable or lowerable into the track 6. A motor 36 serves to supply energy to a traction drive 37 and all other drives of the ballast leveling machine 1.

As can now be seen in FIGS. 2 and 3, the suction nozzle 20 is fixed on a parallelogram linkage 38, which in turn is connected to a support body 39. The height of the parallelogram linkage 38 together with the suction nozzle 20 can be adjusted via the drive 40, while the further drive 41 causes the parallelogram linkage 38 to be pivoted relative to the support body 39 about a vertical axis 42. The support body 39 can be transversely displaced by means of the drive 44 on guide rails 43 running perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the machine and horizontally. 2, the suction nozzle 20 is shown in the lowered working position for work, in order to continuously suck up accumulations of ballast 46 located in the area of a line conductor 45. The suction nozzle 20 protrudes over the front end of the machine frame 4 or the second frame part 3 in such a way that an operator located in the driving cabin 19 has an unobstructed view of the suction nozzle which is lowered in use. The length of the two guide bars 43 for the transverse displacement of the support body 39 or the suction nozzle 20 is somewhat longer than the track width of the track 6. This makes it possible to use the suction nozzle 20, if appropriate, also for suctioning up ballast accumulations located in the area of the sleeper head.

The middle plow 9 and the two side plows 10 and the sweeping brush 18 are lowered onto the track 6 for work. If there is not enough ballast in places, the ballast stored in the ballast silo 14 can be used to perform a ballast of the track 6 if necessary. The ballast not caught by the sweeping brush 18 in the area of the line conductor 45 is sucked off parallel to the work of the ballast plow 11 with the aid of the suction nozzle 20 located at the rear end 21 of the machine. A corresponding positioning of the suction nozzle 20 takes place by acting on the drives 40, 41 and 44 from the driving cabin 19. If, in addition to this ballast accumulation 46, further ballast accumulations are found in the line conductor area, for example in the area of a track magnet, these additional ballast accumulations can also be suctioned off at any time by swiveling the suction nozzle 20 accordingly. The extracted ballast is discharged via the unloading opening 29 onto the conveyor belt 24 and subsequently into the ballast silo 14.

Damit ist eine Überstellfahrt der Maschine 1 möglich, ohne daß die Sicht der in der Fahrkabine 19 befindlichen Bedienungsperson beeinträchtigt ist.3, the suction nozzle 20 is raised by means of the drives 40, 41 and 44 into a locking position or inoperative position and pivoted into a lateral position in which the suction nozzle rises above or to the side of the rear machine end 21 directly behind the driving cabin 19 located within the clearance profile. A transfer travel of the machine 1 is thus possible without the view of the operator in the driving cabin 19 being impaired.
