Claims (17)

  1. Industrial brush with flexible, endless bristle carrier rotating via corresponding guides or deflecting elements and on which are fitted individual bristle bodies forming a generally uninterrupted brush surface in the straight areas outside the deflections, said bristle bodies being constructed as roughly rectangular, spatial plastic injection mouldings, having a lower slot space opened towards the bristle carrier and slot walls laterally with respect thereto, frontally directly engage on one another at least in the vicinity of the slot back indented in the straight portions and the fastening points of the bristle bodies are constructed on the bristle carrier as clamping points located in the central area of the bristle body or slot walls, characterized in that as the carrier for the bristle body (1) is provided a roller chain (K), on whose lateral faces (KS) are provided pins (Z) or the like for fitting the bristle bodies (1) via corresponding clamping slits (2), locking openings, etc. in the slot walls (1b), in which for each bristle body (1) is provided a pin pair (Z) and the latter is formed by two-sided extensions of the connection axes (A) of a chain link (K2) with respect to the two adjacent links (K1 and K3) of the carrier chain (K) and preferably all the connection axes (A) of the chain links (K1, K2, K3, etc.) are extended.
  2. Industrial brush according to claim 1, characterized in that the chain (K) carrying the bristle bodies (1) runs within the slot space (N) formed by the side walls (1b or 1c or 1d) of the bristle bodies (1) and the latter are supported by means of a rib (3, 3a) or the like preferably located centrally on the underside (1a') of the slot back (1a) on the chain links (K1, K2, K3, etc.).
  3. Industrial brush according to claim 2, characterized in that in the vicinity of the fastening points (2) of the bristle bodies (1) the support rib (3) or the like is interrupted and its surface contour (3a) is positively adapted to the studs or rollers (ST) of the carrier chain (K).
  4. Industrial brush according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the width (B1) of the slot back (1a) is kept larger than the mutual external spacing (B2) of the slot walls (1b or 1c or 1d) and the latter are interrupted (1b and 1c) in the vicinity of the fastening points (2) to the carrier chain (K) and/or are narrowed to the chain width (KB).
  5. Industrial brush according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the length (L) of a bristle body (1) is a multiple of the length of the chain link (K1, K2, K3, etc.).
  6. Industrial brush according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the carrier chain (K) is made from metal or some similar wear-resistant material, which does not undergo a length change under normal stressing.
  7. Industrial brush according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized by additional pins or cams (No) and corresponding recesses (NA) in the indented end faces (1f) of the slot back (1a).
  8. Industrial brush according to claim 7, characterized in that the recesses (NA) are slightly conically opened in the chain rotation direction (R).
  9. Industrial brush according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the free ends of the frontal side walls (1d) of the slot space (N) have outwardly directed guide flanges (1e), which run in parallel and with a spacing (a) preferably on either side of the underside (1a') of the slot back and consequently form a clearance-like free space (F).
  10. Industrial brush according to claim 9, characterized in that for ensuring the directional and lateral stability of the brush chain in the free space (F) separate guideways (FB) engage from both sides and are constructed either in the form of single sections (P) or as one-piece beams (PT).
  11. Industrial brush according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that for reducing friction and noise evolution and for increasing the quiet running of the brush chain (K, 1), the flange-like legs (1e) of the bristle bodies (1) have an arcuate (1e) construction on their end faces and the flange undersides are provided with narrow bearing webs or ribs (RP).
  12. Industrial brush according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized by bevels (SG) and/or fillets for all the guide elements coming into contact with one another in the straight path sections or entering the guideways (F, FB) after reversal on the bristle bodies (1), as well as silencing buffers (AP) positioned between the surface of the rib (3, 3a) of each bristle body (1) and the roller chain (K).
  13. Industrial brush according to claim 12, characterized in that the buffers (AP) are made from an elastic material and are inserted from above in corresponding bores (3b) or the like of recesses (3a) of ribs (3) for the particular chain studs (ST).
  14. Industrial brush according to claims 12 and 13, characterized in that the buffers (AP) are only located in the furthest forward recesses (3a) of the rib (3) of each bristle carrier (1).
  15. Industrial brush according to one or more of the claims 10 to 14, characterized in that between the surfaces of the bristle carriers (1) and guideways coming into contact with one another during the rotation of the chain (K) are inserted noise-reducing sliding strips (GL).
  16. Industrial brush according to claim 15, characterized in that the sliding strips (GL) are constructed as cross-sectionally one-piece angular sections and are engaged in self-clamping manner on the flange-like guideways (FB).
  17. Industrial brush according to claims 15 and 16, characterized in that the sliding strip (GL) is made from a low-wear plastics material.
