The vertical brackets (7) have additional welded foot plates (17) for safe contact with the ground and for adjustment when stacking the containers (1) ) on. On the outer surface of the floor (5), two continuous U-shaped brackets (6) (U-profiles) made of 5 mm thick sheet metal are welded, which are used to hold forklift forks and the rigidity of the floor (5). For additional strength of the base (5), two flat profiles (12) are welded upright on the outer surface along the base (5) at right angles to the tabs (6), which are 30 mm wide and 5 mm thick. An eyelet (10) (crane eye) is welded to each corner bracket (7) in the upper area. The eyelets (10) are used in conjunction with a special traverse (36) according to Fig. 7 for safe lifting and moving, e.g. with loading cranes. The crossmember (36) rules out any impairment of the cover seat, as is the case with conventional striking. As a sealing surface and for additional security, a 3 mm thick angular frame (20) is attached to the outer surfaces of the side walls (8) and (9) as a top finish by fillet welds.
The cover (3), as shown in Fig. 4, can be folded over two hinges (21). The hinges (21) consist of Hinge angles (22), which are welded to the lid, and U-pieces (23), which are welded to the container, as well as removable bolts (24), which are secured with linch pins (25) to prevent the bolts (24) from falling out. The hinges (21) enable the cover (3) to be removed by removing the bolts (24). Two locking devices (clamping eyes) (26) are attached to the side of the cover (3) opposite the hinges (21). Two inclined box handles (27) on the side walls (8) serve to lift off the lid (3).
The locking lever (32) is pivotally attached to the hinge pin (34) on the cover (3). The locking lever (32) has a longitudinal channel (18), the width of which preferably corresponds to the diameter of the locking bolt (33).
At the lower end of the longitudinal channel (18) there is a sloping channel (19). The two channels have an angle of 45 °, which faces the cover (3). The inner surface of the cover (3) is completely covered with the inner lining (16), which consists of the same material as (4). The material is tear-resistant, acid-resistant and completely insulates against residual currents.
The transported accumulators are additionally advantageously secured in that the inner lining (4) is released from the attachment by means of snap hooks on the outside eyelets (15) and the free ends of the inner lining (4) are placed in the interior over the accumulators and the four snap hooks be connected to each other so that the side wall of the container is securely shielded and the batteries are firmly packed.
The collecting container (1) according to the invention is used for the safe storage and interim storage of used batteries and accumulators outdoors and, due to the acid-tight seal, advantageously also indoors, e.g. Auto repair shops and other disposal areas such as municipalities and authorities as well as in particular wholesale and retail stores. Another use of the collection container (1) lies in the safe transport, especially on trucks for GGVS-compliant disposal (§ 2 Appendix 1 Ausn. 69, transport in bulk) and due to the stable construction and the possibility of stacking at least two collection containers on top of each other . Discarded collection containers (1) and inlets (4) and (16) are sent for recycling.
