Abstract

For wrapping a collapsible box-shaped refuse container made of paper-board or cardboard, such as is used in aeroplanes, a plastic bag (6) is used which can be folded flat by means of folds, the lateral halves of the bottom bounded by a central fold being folded over towards the bottom in the flat position and resting against one another. In the opened-out state, a flat bottom (9) is formed. In order to be able to pull the plastic bag (6) off the filled box-shaped refuse container during disposal, a handle (14) is mounted on the bottom (9) of the plastic bag (6). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a plastic bag for receiving a flat collapsible box-shaped garbage container made of cardboard or cardboard, which is folded by folds and has a central fold, which is folded down and folded against one another and has side halves of the base which are unfolded and unfolded form a flat bottom and two collapsible handles (13) are provided on the upper part of the plastic bag.

To accommodate the garbage in airplanes or the like, flat collapsible box-shaped garbage containers made of cardboard or cardboard are known from US Pat. The garbage containers are made of cardboard or cardboard and are designed by a suitable cut and folds such that they can be folded flat. The garbage bins are stacked in a flat position and, if necessary, unfolded and inserted into the compactor. In order to prevent the garbage containers from softening due to the throwing in of moist material or even liquids and from being destroyed during lifting, DE-U-89 11 558 discloses a plastic bag for wrapping the box-shaped garbage container made of cardboard or cardboard. The moisture-sensitive waste container made of cardboard or cardboard is inserted in this version in its flat position in the plastic bag, which is also folded flat. For use, the waste container is opened or unfolded together with the enveloping plastic bag and inserted into the compactor. After the garbage has been compacted, the plastic bag with the filled garbage container is removed from the compactor and transported using the handles. The garbage container with its covering is not destroyed when it is removed, even if moist garbage or liquids are stored that have softened the cardboard. For disposal, it is necessary to pull the plastic container from the filled box-shaped waste container, so that separate disposal or processing is possible for recycling. Removing the plastic bag from the box-shaped garbage container, which is filled with the garbage compressed in the compactor, is very cumbersome and time-consuming. This is caused in particular by the fact that the casing lies relatively tightly and firmly against the box-shaped waste container.

In order to enable a better removal of the plastic bag from the box-shaped filled waste container, the invention provides that a handle is attached to the bottom of the plastic bag. This enables the plastic bag to be removed easily, which is quick and easy to carry out, even if the plastic bag is firmly against the waste container.

DE-U 89 11 558.9 oder DE-A 15 86 989 oder US-A 21 96 184). The invention is based on the fact that the arrangement of carrying handles at the upper filling end of bags or sacks made of paper or plastic is generally known for carrying and transport (cf. DE-U 89 11 558.9 or DE-A 15 86 989 or US-A 21 96 184). Such handles arranged at the top can not help to remove the plastic bag from an inserted container z. B. a garbage container. This also applies to the version according to FR-A 14 07 248, which describes a sack with a handle arranged on the bottom, the other when carrying downward-facing sack end should be closed, as is known in the case of the cross-bottom valve sacks closed at both ends with a filling valve. Such portable bags are not suitable for holding box-shaped waste containers, nor do they have any means of being able to pull the bag away from such a container.

The handle arranged on the floor according to the invention can be designed in different ways. In a simple version, the handle consists of a flat plastic strip, the ends of which are welded to the floor. Another embodiment provides that the handle consisting of a flat plastic strip is attached to gussets that connect to the front edge of the bottom. In a third embodiment, the handle consists of two lugs on opposite sides of the floor, which overlap and are welded together.

In Fig. 1, for example, a flat collapsible box-shaped garbage container made of cardboard or cardboard is shown, which is used in connection with a compactor for holding garbage in airplanes or the like. It has two end walls 2, two side walls 3 and a bottom 4 and closure flaps 5 and is provided with folds which, in a manner known per se, enable the refuse container to be folded flat. In Fig. 1, the garbage container is drawn in a partially opened state. By further pulling apart the side walls 3, the usage configuration is obtained in which the two halves of the end walls 2 lie in one plane. The closure flaps 5 on the side walls 3 and end walls 2 are provided with folding joints which allow folding over for the closure of the waste container 1.

The plastic bag 6 shown in FIG. 2 serves to hold the garbage container 1 shown in FIG. 1 and known per se. The plastic bag 9 is expediently made from a tubular film. It has side walls 7, End walls 8 and a bottom 9. It is further provided with folds 10 for the side edges, folds 11 for the bottom edges and a middle fold 12 in the bottom. Finally, diagonal folds are incorporated into the end walls for the bottom fold. The end walls 8 are folded outwards. The middle fold 12 present in the bottom divides the bottom into two halves which, in the folded position, are folded down and adjoin one another. On the upper part, the plastic bag is equipped with two foldable carrying handles 13.

For use, the garbage container 1 is inserted into the plastic bag 6 in its flat position and unfolded. The plastic bag 6 is also unfolded. If the garbage container 1 is filled in the compactor after the garbage has been compacted, the closure flaps 5 are folded inwards, and the unit consisting of a plastic bag 6 and garbage container 1 can be transported by means of the carrying handles 13. In order to be able to pull the plastic bag 6 from the waste container 1 at the disposal point, a handle 14 is attached to the outside of the bottom 9. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 2 to 4, this consists of a flat plastic strip which is welded to the bottom 9 with its ends. The welding points are designated 15.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6, gussets 16 are provided on the front edges of the bottom 9, to which a flat plastic strip is attached to form a handle 14 at the welding points 15. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 8, tab-like projections 17 are provided on two opposite sides of the base 9, which overlap and are connected to one another at the welding point 15. In all versions, a handle 14 is formed, which is located under the bottom 9 and allows the plastic bag 6 to be easily removed from the waste container 1.
