Connector, in particular for the electrical connection of trailer vehicles, comprising a socket (2), which is equipped with a cover (1) capable of swivelling in opening direction counter to the action of a resetting spring, and a plug (3), wherein the opened cover (1) on the interconnecting cable side engages with an inside interlocking lug (4) behind an arresting shoulder (5) of the plug housing (6) of the plug (3) inserted into the socket (2), characterized in that the arresting shoulder (5) and/or the face of the interlocking lug (4) facing the arresting shoulder (5) is provided with a metal material portion (7), the exposed surface of which has sharp-edged surface irregularities (8).
  2. Connector according to claim 1, characterized in that the material portion (7) is one limb (9) of a metal strip which is bent into a U-shaped clasp (10) and is fixable on the interlocking lug (4) or in the region of the arresting shoulder (5).
  3. Connector according to claim 2, characterized in that the clasp (10) is made of spring steel.
  4. Connector according to one of the preceding claims 2 or 3, characterized in that at least one of the limbs (9, 9′) of the clasp (10) is provided with a positioning projection (11, 11′) for engagement into a recess or an opening (12) in the region of the interlocking lug (4) or the arresting shoulder (5).
  5. Connector according to claim 4, characterized in that the positioning projection (11, 11′) takes the form of a tab (13, 13′) punched out and bent at an angle or stamped out from the flat material of the limb (9, 9′).
  6. Connector according to one of claims 4 or 5, characterized in that the positioning projection (11, 11′), in particular the tab (13, 13′), has a run-on bevel (15, 15′) directed towards the limb end (14, 14′) for the interlocking lug (4) or for an arresting projection (20) which forms the arresting shoulder (5).
  7. Connector according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterized in that the positioning projection (11, 11′), in particular the tab (13, 13′), has a contact edge (16, 16′) remote from the limb end (14, 14′) for application against the inner face (17) of the recess or opening (12).
  8. Connector according to one of claims 3 to 7, characterized in that the interlocking lug (4) or a portion in the region of the arresting shoulder (5) intended to receive the clasp (10) tapers towards its free end.
  9. Connector according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the surface irregularities (8) are formed by outwardly bent punched portions (18) of the metal material portion (7).
  10. Connector according to claim 9, characterized in that the punched portions (18) are edge portions of the material portion (7).
  11. Connector according to claim 10, characterized in that the one limb (9) of the clasp (10) having the punched portions (18) is wider by the width of the punched portions (18) than the other limb (9′).
