Description

The invention relates to a lighting device, in particular for effect lighting, consisting of a light source with a bundled beam path and mirrors lying in the beam path.

Such lighting devices are known in particular for carrying out light effects, a rotating mirror or a large number of such mirrors being inserted into the beam path of a bundled light source. The mirrors can be flat or curved to achieve certain lighting effects. With such an arrangement, the bundled beam is not directed towards a specific area of space and is also not possible with the usual devices. Up to now, spotlights have been used for this purpose, which are mounted in a spherical shape, movable about three axes. The disadvantage of such spotlights is that their control is very complex.

The object of the invention is to provide an illumination device which guides the bundled beam of a light source to a specific point in space and which is also able to track the beam of moving objects. The lighting device should also be simple, in particular easy to use, and adjustable via simple auxiliary devices. This is achieved in the manner according to the invention by a first plane mirror lying at an angle of approximately 45 ° in the bundled beam path of a light source, rotatable by 360 ° around an axis lying in the beam path, and by a second mirror in the now deflected beam path also at an angle of approximately Flat mirror lying at 45 °, which in turn can be rotated through 360 ° to the deflected beam path axis.

A difficult-to-adjust spotlight is no longer used as before, but rather an illumination device that deflects the bundled beam of a light source twice over mirrors, with the twisting movements of the two mirrors generally stand perpendicular to each other. In the case of a vertically radiating light source, the light beam is thus deflected into the horizontal by the first mirror, so that the light beam can be adjusted in a horizontal plane. The second mirror deflects this horizontally lying light beam in turn by about 90 °, so that the light beam is now able to sweep over a vertically lying plane due to the rotating movement of this mirror. By appropriately adjusting the first and the second mirror, it is therefore possible to direct the light beam to any point in space or to track moving objects. Here, and this is the particular advantage of this lighting device, the respective position of the two mirrors can be adjusted by simple auxiliary devices.

A preferred embodiment of this lighting device is characterized by a fixed light source with an objective arranged in a housing, a holder arranged in the beam path above it, rotatable by 360 ° for a plane mirror lying at an angle of approximately 45 ° to the beam path, and one with the holder in Angle of the current beam path connected, again rotatable by 360 ° for a second plane mirror lying at an angle of about 45 ° to the current beam path. The respective rotational position of the holder and the holder can be adjustable by servomotors, which can be controlled, for example, by computers.

Of course, the first mirror can also be permanently connected to the light source and the light source can then be rotated together with the mirror. In this case, the strut leading to the mounting of the second mirror can of course also be used with the light source or connected to the lens. In order to avoid disturbing shadows, the strut can also be led through the center of the flat mirror. Another possibility is to dispense with the strut entirely and to adjust the second mirror via an additional servomotor in synchronism with the servomotor that rotates the first mirror or the light source. The second mirror tracks the twisting movement of the first mirror exactly via this "electrical shaft".

Of course, further devices optically acting on the light beam can be inserted into the beam path from the objective to behind the second mirror, for example to produce color effects.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the lighting device according to the invention is shown schematically. A plane mirror (5) is arranged above a light source (1) with an objective (2), in its beam path (3), by means of a holder (4). The mirror (5) can be rotated by 360 ° by means of a stepping motor (6) about an axis arranged in parallel with the beam (3), indicated by the arrows 7. Connected to the holder (4) is a strut (8) to which a further stepper motor (9) is attached, which via a socket (10) rotates a mirror (11), again through 360 °, indicated by the arrows 12 can. The mirror (11) is thus again at an angle of approximately 45 ° to the deflected beam (13), so that the light beam is again deflected by 90 ° and, as indicated by reference number 14, is continued.

By turning the holder (4) by means of the servomotor (6), the deflected beam (13) sweeps over a plane perpendicular to the beam (3). The light beam strikes the second mirror (11) so that it is deflected again by 90 °, so that depending on the position of the mirror (5, 11), every point in space can be reached.
