Die Knotenverbindungen sind bei dieser erfindungsgemäßen Konstruktion beweglich, so daß in vorgegebenen Grenzen jeder beliebige Anschlußwinkel zwischen benachbarten Bauelementen (Stäben) einstellbar ist.
Es können somit vorgefertigte Universal-Bauelemente für praktisch alle Anwendungsfälle eingesetzt werden und es lassen sich Kantenstrukturen von beliebigen Körpern nachbilden und an den Körperecken kraftschlüssig verbinden.

Auch zur Bildung der Anschlußscharniere 7 an den Enden der Einzelelemente 2 sind hier laschenförmig ausgebildete Ösenteile 16 vorgesehen, die so angeordnet sind, daß deren Achsen rechtwinklig zu der des Klappscharnieres 4 verlaufen und wobei beide Achsen in einer Ebene liegen.
