Claims (7)

  1. Device for heating a moving web (12-14) by contact over its entire width, by means of a heat source (2) of convex general shape, comprising two longitudinal sectors, characterized in that the heat source (2):
    - is formed by two semicylindrical longitudinal sectors (3, 4) joined by their base, respectively a hot sector (3) and a cold sector (4);
    - is mounted so as to pivot about its longitudinal axis (5);
    - and has means (7, 9) intended to rotate it about this longitudinal axis (5):
    . when the movement of the textile web (12-14) stops, in order to substitute immediately the cold sector (4) for the hot sector (3) in contact with the stopped web (13);
    . and, when the movement of the web resumes, in order again to substitute immediately the hot sector (3) for the cold sector (4) in contact with the moving web (13).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cylindrical heat source (2) is mounted on a shaft (5) which has, at one of its ends, a toothed wheel (6) engaging via a chain (7) with an actuator (9) driven by the member for starting (or stopping) the movement of the web (12).
  3. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that when the web (12) stops or restarts, the cylindrical heat source (2) pivots through 180°.
  4. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the cylindrical heat source (2) is formed by two semicylindrical shells (20, 21) joined together, having, along their contact generatrices, insulating means (22, 23) for absorbing the expansion caused by the heating up of the hot shell (20).
  5. Device for warp printing a pattern (34) on a moving web of parallel textile yarns (30), by means of a transfer paper (33) bearing a pattern of colorants (34), and under the combined action of heat and pressure, comprising:
    - a heat source (2) having a longitudinal axis (5);
    - two deflector rolls (10, 11), respectively the input and output deflector rolls, the axes of which are parallel to the longitudinal axis (5) of the heat source (2) and which are arranged with respect to the latter so that the web (13) hugs the heat source (2) over an arc of a circle;
    - a member (36, 37, 39) for driving the transfer paper (33) in order to bring this paper under the input deflector roll (10) between the heat source (2) and the moving web (12);
    - a member (43, 44, 45, 39) for taking up the exhausted transfer paper (40);
    characterised in that it includes a cylindrical heat source (2) according to one of Claims 1 to 4.
  6. Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the member (36, 37) for driving the transfer paper (33) is braked and in that the member (43, 44) for taking up the exhausted transfer paper (40) is driven (39).
  7. Warp knitting machine, characterized in that it includes a transfer printing device according to either of Claims 5 and 6.
