Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausbildung entsteht ein Federkern, bei dem die Ketten bei relativ enger Packung der eingetaschten Federn in Zeilen und Spalten angeordnet sind, wobei der Verbund der Ketten untereinander zur Bildung des Taschenfederkernes ausschließlich durch das Übergreifen der Schlitzbereiche erfolgt. Auf diese Weise wird eine exakte äußere Maßhaltigkeit des Federkernes erreicht, wobei kein Ineinanderschieben der Federn in Länge und/oder Breite erfolgen kann, da eine genaue Lagefixierung durch die im Nahtbereich gebildeten Einsteckschlitze erreicht ist. Zusätzlich wird eine enge Flächenbelegung mit eingetaschten Federn erreicht, was zu einer hohen Stabilität des Federkernes führt. Zudem wird ein hoher Härtegrad des Taschenfederkernes erreicht, was bisher im Stand der Technik nur durch höhere Drahtstärke der Federelemente erreichbar war.
Eine bevorzugte Weiterbildung wird darin gesehen, daß zwischen den eingetaschten Federn einer Kette jeweils eine doppelte Verbindungsnaht ausgebildet ist und der Einsteckschlitz jeweils zwischen diesen Verbindungsnahtpaaren ausgebildet ist.

Die benachbarten Ketten 2, 3 sind mechanisch miteinander verbunden. Dazu weist eine erste Anzahl von Ketten 3 im Bereich der Verbindungsnähte 5 jeweils gleichgerichtete Schlitze auf, wobei mehrere Ketten mit Abstand voneinander zueinander parallel gerichtet angeordnet sind. Eine zweite Anzahl von Ketten 2 ist rechtwinklig zu der ersten Anzahl von Ketten 3 gerichtet parallel zu und mit Abstand voneinander verlaufend angeordnet, wobei die erste und zweite Anzahl von Ketten 3, 2 in Zeilen und Spalten angeordnet sind und die zwischen parallelen Reihen gebildeten Abstände durch in die Lücken der Elemente der ersten Anzahl von Ketten 3 eingesetzte Elemente der zweiten Anzahl von Ketten 2 ausgefüllt sind, so daß die Elemente jeder folgenden Zeile oder Spalte versetzt zueinander angeordnet sind. Erfindungsgemäß sind die Schlitze als lediglich in dem Bereich offene Langlöcher 6 ausgebildet, der zwischen den durch die Stirnflächen der eingetaschten Federn 4 gebildeten Ebenen liegt. Ferner ist jede Kette der zweiten Anzahl von Ketten 2 jeweils so angeordnet, daß sie die in Flucht zueinander ausgerichteten Langlöcher 6 der aus der ersten Anzahl von Ketten 3 gebildeten Kettenschar durchgreifend angeordnet ist, wobei im Bereich eines jeden Langlochdurchgriffes ein Bereich einer Verbindungsnaht 5 der Kette 2 der zweiten Anzahl sitzt. Wie insbesondere aus Figur 9 ersichtlich, können die Langlöcher mit Abstand vor den Stirnflächenebenen enden. Zudem sind die Langlöcher 6 vorzugsweise mittig zwischen den Ebenen ausgebildet. Zudem sind die Ränder der Langlöcher 6 durch Nähte (Verbindungsnähte 5) verschlossen. Zusätzlich kann auch vorgesehen sein, daß die zweite Anzahl von Ketten 2 im Bereich der Verbindungsnähte 5 der Umhüllung zur einen oder zu beiden Randkanten offene Einsteckschlitze aufweisen, so daß bei einander durchdringender Anordnung der Ketten erster und zweiter Anzahl (3,2) die randoffenen Schlitze und die randseitig geschlossenen Langlöcher 6 eines jeden zusammengehörigen Schlitzpaares der miteinander verzahnten Ketten 3, 2 ineinandergreifend gerichtet sind. Im übrigen ist die Ausbildung so vorgesehen, daß die randseitig geschlossenen Langlöcher 6 eine solche Länge aufweisen, die mindestens gering größer als der maximale Durchmesser der Federn 4 der diesen durchkreuzenden zweiten Anzahl von Ketten 2 ist. Bei zusammengepreßten Federn 4 ist damit das Durchschieben durch die Langlöcher 6 sehr leicht und ohne Aufreißen des Materials möglich, wobei dann, wenn die Ketten zweiter Anzahl 2 lagerichtig gemäß der Musteransicht gemäß Figur 1 angeordnet sind, die Federn losgelassen werden können, so daß sie auffedern und die Position gemäß Figur 8 annehmen.According to the exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 8 and 9, the pocket spring core 1 consists of a plurality of parallel chains 2, 3 with pocketed springs, preferably barrel springs, each chain 2, 3 having a continuous series of springs which are closely encased by a cloth-like covering and through them together are connected.     in that a first number of chains (2) with apertures (6) in the same direction are disposed mutually parallel at a distance from one another,
    in that a second number of chains (3) are disposed at right angles to the first number of chains (2) and extending mutually parallel and at a distance from one another, the apertures (6) of which extend in the same direction, but in the opposite direction to the apertures (6) of the first number,
    and in that the first and second number of chains (2, 3) are disposed with inter-engaging apertures (6) in lines and columns, whereby the spaces formed between parallel rows are filled by components of the second number of chains (3) inserted in the gaps in the components of the first number of chains (2), so that the components of each subsequent line or column are arranged in mutually staggered array.
  2. A box-spring core according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that between the boxed springs (4) of one chain (2, 3) is constructed a double connecting seam (5) and the insertion aperture (6) is constructed between these pairs of connecting seams.
  3. A box-spring core according to Claim 2,
    characterised in that between each connecting seam pair (5) of a chain (2 or 3) is constructed a web made from the covering material of the boxed springs (4).

  11. A box-spring core according to Claim 9 or 10,
    characterised in that the slots (6) are constructed in the centre between the planes.
  12. A box-spring core according to one of Claims 9 to 11,
    characterised in that the edges of the slots (6) are sealed by seams (5).
  13. A box-spring core according to one of Claims 9 to 12,
    characterised in that the second number of chains (2) in the region of the connecting seams (5) of the covering comprise insertion apertures open at one or both edges, whereby with an inter-penetrating arrangement of the chains (3, 2) of the first and second number, the apertures open at the edges and the slots (6) closed at the edges of each aperture pair of the intermeshing chains (3, 2) are arranged in inter-engaging fashion.
