Abstract
Description
La présente invention a trait à un procédé de décoration par sublimation d'une encre sur toute la surface d'un objet, quelle que soit sa forme. Le demandeur est propriétaire d'une demande de brevet N° 90 04488 qui décrit un procédé pour le transfert par sublimation d'un dessin imprimé sur une feuille de papier et une machine pour sa mise en oeuvre. A la suite de différents essais, il a été remarqué que la décoration des objets de formes courbes, sphériques, ou ovoïdes entraînait certains inconvénients lors de la mise en place de la feuille papier. Ces inconvénients résident essentiellement dans le fait que la feuille papier ne supporte aucune déformation suivant ses axes principaux. Cette contrainte provoque des irrégularités dans le recouvrement de l'objet par la feuille papier.The present invention relates to a decoration process by sublimation of an ink over the entire surface of an object, whatever its shape. Le procédé suivant l'invention se caractérise en ce qu'il consiste :
- à utiliser comme support d'encre un matériau suffisamment extensible pour pouvoir s'adapter à la forme de l'objet à décorer sans risque de détérioration du décor à sublimer ;
- à envelopper l'objet dans le support d'encre sublimable afin que toutes ses faces soient recouvertes ;
- à placer l'ensemble dans une machine sous vide connue en soi qui est elle-même introduite dans un espace chaud pour provoquer le transfert du décor sur toute la surface de l'objet à décorer.
