Derartige Schreib- und Zeichengeräte sind in unterschiedlichen Formen bekannt, etwa als sogenannte Röhrchenschreiber, bei denen die Schreibspitze aus einem Schreibröhrchen besteht, dem aus einer Tuschepatrone, die auf den das Schreibröhrchen tragenden Teil des Gehäuses aufgesteckt ist, Tusche zugeführt werden kann. Über eine kapillare Druckausgleichskammer, die mit ihrem einen Ende mit der Umgebungsluft verbunden ist und die mit ihrem anderen Ende in Verbindung mit dem die Tusche enthaltenden Innenraum des Gehäuses steht, wird ein Druckausgleich bewirkt, so daß sich bei Verbrauch von Tusche im Tuschevorratsraum kein Unterdruck einstellt, der eine weitere Tuscheabgabe durch das Schreibröhrchen behindern würde. Darüber hinaus dient die Druckausgleichskammer auch dazu, Tusche aufzunehmen, wenn sich im Tuschevorratsraum ein Überdruck einstellt. Gerade dieser Fall ist bei Schreib- und Zeichengeräten der interessierenden Art von ganz besonderer Bedeutung, weil der die Schreibflüssigkeit enthaltende Raum zusätzlich auch Luft enthält, die sich bei einer Temperaturerhöhung weit stärker ausdehnt als die Schreibflüssigkeit. Dadurch entsteht ein erheblicher Überdruck, und es wird eine verhältnismäßig große Menge Schreibflüssigkeit in die Druckausgleichskammer gepreßt. Dies kann dazu führen, daß Schreibflüssigkeit aus dem mit der Umgebungsluft in Verbindung stehenden Ende der Druckausgleichskammer austritt und so eine Verschmutzung bewirkt.Such writing and drawing devices are known in various forms, for example as so-called tube recorders, in which the writing tip consists of a writing tube to which ink can be supplied from an ink cartridge which is attached to the part of the housing carrying the writing tube.
