Abstract

Claims (5)

  1. Locking element for securing the edges of adjoining partition wall plates of the kind where two plasterboard plates are held spaced apart by cellular transverse ribs wherein the locking element can be inserted completely into the edge area of the partition wall plate (23) with a guide casing (2) with a width corresponding to the spacing of the plasterboard plates, and has a pressure member (1) movably guided in the casing (2) wherein the pressure member (1) in one end position projects over the edge of the partition plate and can be pressed against a spring force into the casing (2) until completely beneath the upper edge of the casing characterised in that the pressure member (1) can be engaged in the second end position, namely in the fully countersunk position in the guide casing (2).
  2. Locking element according to claim 1,
    characterised in that inside the casing (2) there is a web (21) which is moulded on the bottom of the casing, is designed to spring away sideways and has a transverse web (22) which stands T-shaped level with the casing edge and interacts with two pairs of two noses (8 and 9) moulded at the same level in the pressure member (1) wherein the lower pair of noses (9) serves to secure the pressure member (1) at approximately half the insertion depth whilst the top pair (8) of noses is fitted so that the pressure member (1) is held secure with the full insertion depth.
  3. Locking element according to claim 2 characterised in that an oblong recess (11) is provided on the top edge of the pressure member (1) at approximately the level of the transverse web.
  4. Locking element according to claim 1 characterised in that the spring force is produced by each two pairs of sprung arms (19 and 20) which are moulded on as sprung arms on the opposite transverse walls (12) of the casing (2) beneath the full insertion depth of the pressure member (1) and are aligned obliquely upwards crossing one another so that the four protruding ends of the sprung arms (19 and 20) form a flat support for the pressure member (1).
  5. Locking element according to claim 2 or 3 characterised in that the pressure member (1) has at the upper edges of its side walls (3) slide webs (10) which are inclined in roof-shaped manner.
