Description

The innovation concerns a composable strip assortment for the production of composite sight strips.

It is known, for example, to change plastic strips by colored insert strips, only a part of the entire visible strip being covered in each case.

It is the task of specifying a range of strips in which the widest possible range of possibilities of composite strips can be achieved with the least possible variety of individual strips to be kept in stock.

According to the present invention, this object can be achieved in that the assemblable range of strips for the production of composite viewing strips consists of the following individual parts:
  • a base strip with a flat cross section, which accommodates concealed fastening devices on its front,
  • at least two upper facing strips with different profiles, which are machined from a first rectangular profile,
  • at least two lower attachment strips with different profiles, which are machined from a second rectangular profile that has a larger cross-sectional area than the first rectangular profile,
  • and in which an upper and a lower header are to be fastened flat on top of each other on the base bar.

The basic idea is to combine a first attachment strip with a second attachment strip. In terms of dimensions, however, the attachment strips are designed in such a way that attachment strips of the same type (upper attachment strips or lower attachment strips) can be stacked on top of one another, so that six different combinations are already possible with the aforementioned minimum assortment.

Usually, the two types of facing strips are designed so that a viewing strip can be assembled from three of the aforementioned strips, which has a step-like increase in the total thickness on its visible side, measured in each case from the back of the base strip to the visible side.

It should be pointed out at this point that the terms “top”, “bottom”, “rear”, “front” and the like refer to the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1. In the actual embodiments, these terms can be mutatis mutandis applied to other configurations, such as upside down configurations, without departing from the scope. The applications of the sight strips should also cover a wide range, for example ceiling end strips, floor strips, vertical strips for the optical separation of wall surfaces, furniture decor strips, etc.

When planning the strip surfaces, a fixed profile is generally used as the starting profile. From this profile, a certain profile is machined, in particular by milling or planing manufactured, which is then available "endlessly". Here, for example, the lower attachment strip can be machined from a square initial profile.

The maximum thickness of the upper facing strip is preferably 25 to 40%, in particular one third of the maximum thickness of the lower facing strip, measurements being made in each case from the back of the facing strip to the front visible side.

In order to use the base strip as part of the visible strip, the attached front strips only cover the lower part of the base strip, the total coverage of the base strip usually being more than 50%.

The attachment of the attachment strips on the base strip is preferably carried out by means of a concealed fastening device known per se, so-called spring tabs having proven to be favorable as fastening elements.

The strips of the range according to the invention are preferably made of wood or plastic. It is possible to color their visible areas, for example, or to cover them with a decor film. This makes it possible to create different color effects by using different strips.

Figur 1
ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer zusammengesetzten Sichtleiste, im Querschnitt und teilweise perspektivisch;
Figuren 2a bis 2c
Ausführungsbeispiele für die obere Vorsatzleiste;
Figuren 2a bis 3c
Ausführungsbeispiele für die untere Vorsatzleiste.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing. The figures in the drawing show in detail:
Figure 1
an embodiment of a composite window, in cross section and partially in perspective;
Figures 2a to 2c
Embodiments for the top header;
Figures 2a to 3c
Exemplary embodiments for the lower header.

The visible strip 1 shown in FIG. 1, which is drawn in the cut, consists of a base strip 2 with a flat cross section, which is provided on its front side 3 with two grooves 4 and 5 running parallel to the longitudinal extension of the base strip. With the base strip 2, two attachment strips 6 and 7 are connected, namely an upper attachment strip 6, which has approximately the shape of a shoe in cross section, and a lower attachment strip 7, which is machined out of an originally square profile by working out a fillet 8. Both end strips lie flat on top of each other on the base strip. The attachment is carried out by concealed spring tabs 9, 9 'initially fitted into the grooves 4, 5. In order to accommodate the spring tabs at their other, protruding end, compatible grooves 10, 10 'are milled into the attachment strips 6, 7. This enables concealed fastening. However, it should be noted that other concealed brackets are also known.

The profiles are preferably made of wood. However, it should not be excluded that hollow profiles or the like made of plastic are also present in extruded form. In addition, it is also not excluded that a "material mix" is carried out, wherein, for example, metallized or metal profiles can also be used as base or end strips.

It appears essential that the thickness of the upper header 6 is only about a third of the thickness of the lower Attachment bar is 7, measuring from the back of the base bar to the visible side.

The visible sides, i.e. H. the surfaces visible from the front plan view of the assembled bar can be colored, lacquered or covered with plastic film, as shown for example in FIG. 3c under reference number 12. The visible area of the facing strip 7 is covered here with a decor film 12.

As can also be seen, the two attachment strips have the same height, the sum of their heights falling below the height of the base strip 2, so that a part (head part 13) of the base strip can also be seen freely. Of course, it is also possible to completely or even overlap the base strip. It should also not be ruled out that further grooves are provided, so that three or four superimposed attachment strips can be applied to a base strip. In the sense of the starting position set out at the outset, however, the illustrated standard represents the optimum. FIGS. 2a to 2c show different embodiments. FIG. 2c shows the front bar 6 already shown in FIG. 1, while FIG FIG. 2b shows a further outline structure 6 ″ of an attachment strip.

7'' in verschiedenen Strukturen, während die Figur 3c die bereits in Figur 1 dargestellte untere Vorsatzleiste 7 darstellt, hier jedoch mit einer Decor-Folie 12.Similarly, FIGS. 3a to 3c show options for the design of the facing strip. 3a and 3b show lower facing strips 7 'and 7' 'in different structures, while FIG. 3c shows the lower facing strip 7 already shown in FIG. 1, but here with a decor film 12.

It should be apparent to the person skilled in the art that instead of those in FIGS. 2a to 2c and 3a to 3c, others are also used Possibilities exist without leaving the scope of the invention. It should be pointed out that the invention relates to the assemblable range of strips, that is to say the choice of a base strip with at least two upper and lower facing strips. If a smaller variety of options is desired, one of the two end strips can of course still be omitted.
