Definitions
- the invention relates to a cable routing for connecting electric motors of a multi-motor crane system, in particular a container crane system, to a converter device arranged on the crane system in a control cabinet with at least two poles, with resistors spatially separated from the control cabinet and the motors and arranged in a resistance bank the motors are electrically connected in series, with at least one pole-resistor connecting line being led from one of the poles to the resistors for each motor.
- the voltage source was arranged in the form of a converter device in a control cabinet and the resistors outside the control cabinet were combined to form a so-called resistance bank.
- the cables each included a supply and return line and were connected with their motor or resistor ends to the respective motor or to one of the resistors.
- one of the lines of the cables was connected to one of the poles of the voltage source and the other lines were connected to each other, usually via an overcurrent quick release.
- two cables were installed in the control cabinet for each motor.
- this was perceived as disadvantageous due to the limited space in the control cabinet.
- due to the large number of cables to be laid miswiring easily possible. An unnecessary amount of cable material was also required.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a simple and clear cable routing, while at the same time minimizing the amount of material required.
- the object is achieved in that the poles are connected to busbars in the control cabinet, from which the further line routing takes place via shunts connected to a busbar in each case with limit switches connected thereto, and in that each motor has a motor-resistance connecting line directly to the Resistance is led. This prevents the return of a line from the resistor to the control cabinet and further cabling from there to the motor.
- common lines are at least partially combined to form multi-core cables because the number of lines to be laid individually is then reduced.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 denotes the control cabinet.
- the converter device 2 is located in the control cabinet 1 and has two poles 3, 4, namely a negative pole 3 and a positive pole 4.
- the poles 3, 4 are guided via vertical connecting rails 5, 6 on horizontal busbars 7, 8, from which the wiring is continued.
- Shunts 9 are connected to the busbar 7.
- the control cabinet 1 has a busbar 10 which is connected to ground.
- Adjustable limit switches (not shown) are connected to the shunts 9 and are used to measure the voltage drop across the shunts 9 and thus indirectly the current flowing through the shunts 9 and the associated motor 14. If the current exceeds a limit value that can be set via the limit switch, the limit switch triggers and switches off the current supply to the converter 2.
- the limit value of the limit switch is set such that it triggers before one of the cables 15 to 20 is thermally destroyed.
- the resistance bank 11 is arranged outside the control cabinet 1 because of the waste heat generated in the resistors 12. Like the control cabinet 1, it has a ground rail 13.
- Both the control cabinet 1 and the resistance bench 11 are arranged in the so-called E-house of the crane system.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 now show various options for routing cables between control cabinet 1, resistance bank 11 and motors 14.
- a pole-resistance cable 15 is guided from the control cabinet 1 to the resistance bank 11 for each motor 14, and from there a motor-resistance cable 16 is led to the motor.
- Both cables have a protective conductor, which can be seen from the fact that the lines 15c, 16c are connected to the ground rails 10, 13.
- the cables 15, 16 each have two useful lines 15a, 15b, 16a, 16b.
- Line 15a i.e. the pole-resistance connecting line is connected on the control cabinet side to one of the shunts 9 and on the resistance side to one of the resistors 12.
- the second line 15b is connected directly to the negative rail 8 on the control cabinet side and to another one of the resistors 12 on the resistance side.
- Motor-resistance connection line 16a is connected to the other connection of resistor 12 to which line 15a is connected, and motor-resistance back-connection line 16b to the other connection of resistor 12 to which line 15b is connected.
- the armature current is fed to the motor 14 via the lines 16a, 16b and returned to the control cabinet 2.
- FIG. 2 shows a slightly modified version of the line routing from FIG. 1.
- three-core cables with the same line cross-section, for example 3 ⁇ 16 mm 2 were always used to connect control cabinet 1, resistance bank 11 and motors 14.
- a single-core, shielded cable 17 with, for example, a 150 mm2 line cross section is used to connect the minus rail 8 of the control cabinet 1 to a minus rail 18 in the resistance bank 11.
- the connections from the positive rail 7 run again via the shunts 9, but are then also collected in a multi-core cable 21 with, for example, 5 ⁇ 16 mm 2 cable cross section, to the resistance bank 11.
- the wiring from the resistance bank 11 to the motor 14 is described as in FIG 1.
- the cable 15 is led from the shunts 9 to the resistance bank 11 and from there the cable 16 to the motor 14.
- the motor pole cable 20 goes back from the motor 14 to the negative pole 8.
- the cables 15, 16, 20 are single-core cables. If necessary, the cable 15 could also have several lines. In this case, only one cable 15 would need to be routed from the control cabinet 1 to the resistance bank 11 for several motors 14.
- the present invention can be applied in principle to any crane system, but it is particularly suitable for container crane systems with their multi-motor drives, e.g. for trolley and undercarriage.

Description
- FIG 1 bis 3 verschiedene Möglichkeiten der Leitungsführung.
- FIG 3 zeigt eine dritte Variante der Leitungsführung.
