Dadurch, daß die dem Leimwerk zugekehrten Räder der Druckkammern gegenüber der Rückwand der Leimwanne, der von der Leimübertragungsstelle ablaufenden Fläche der Leimauftragswalze oder gegenüber der Unterseite des Leimwerkes abgedichtet sind, wird der dosierte Leimübertrag nicht gestört, weil diese Flächen keinen Leim zur Leimübertragsstelle zuführen.     - connections for overpressure sources on the pressure chambers, in order to press the corrugated web onto the corrugated roll using overpressure,
    characterised in that
    the pressure chamber walls (18, 21) of both pressure chambers (16, 17) are imperviously joined to the rear wall of the size container (9).
  2. Machine for making cardboard corrugated on one side, comprising:
    - two corrugated rolls which corrugate a web,
    - a sizing unit for applying size to the corrugated web and including a size applicator roll which cooperates with one corrugated roll, a size dispenser and a size container,
    - a contact roll which presses a covering web against the sized, corrugated web,
    - two pressure chambers, arranged at either side of the size applicator roll and sealed by a respective one of their edges from one corrugated roll, or contact roll, and sealed by their other edges from the sizing unit,
    - connections for overpressure sources on the pressure chambers, in order to press the corrugated web onto the corrugated roll using overpressure,
    characterised in that
    the pressure chamber wall (18) of one pressure chamber (16) which is sealed from the upper corrugated roll (2) is imperviously joined to the rear wall of the size container (9), whereas the pressure chamber wall (21) of the other pressure chamber (17) is joined by means of a seal (30) to the surface of the size applicator roll (7) that runs from the size application point.
  3. Machine for making cardboard corrugated on one side, comprising:
    - two corrugated rolls which corrugate a web,
    - a sizing unit for applying size to the corrugated web and including a size applicator roll which cooperates with one corrugated roll, a size dispenser and a size container,
    - a contact roll which presses a covering web against the sized, corrugated web,
    - two pressure chambers, arranged at either side of the size applicator roll and sealed by a respective one of their edges from one corrugated roll, or contact roll, and sealed by their other edges from the sizing unit,
    - connections for overpressure sources on the pressure chambers, in order to press the corrugated web onto the corrugated roll using overpressure,
    characterised in that the pressure chamber wall (18) of one pressure chamber (16) which is sealed from the upper corrugated roll (2) is imperviously joined by means of a seal (31) to the lower face of the sizing unit (6) and that the pressure chamber wall (21) of the other pressure chamber (17) is joined by means of a seal (30) to the surface of the size applicator roll (7) that runs from the size application point.
  4. Machine according to claim 2 or 3,
    characterised in that the seal (30) which is in contact with the size applicator roll (7) is grooved to receive and conduct size.
  5. Machine according to claim 1, 2 or 3,
    characterised in that the sizing unit (6) and the pressure chambers (16, 17) are adapted to be pushed in and out together or individually.
  6. Machine according to claim 1, 2 or 3,
    characterised in that the pressure chamber (17) adjoining the contact roll (1) exhibits a higher pressure P1 than the other pressure chamber (16) at pressure P2.
  7. Machine according to claims 1, 2 or 3,
    characterised in that the corrugated roll (3) which cooperates with the size applicator roll (7) incorporates spaced annular grooves.
