Claims (12)

  1. An anti-theft rotary electric switch for motor vehicles, which can be operated by means of the ignition key at the user's will, of the type comprising an assembled body (1), for the formation of a support (1, 11) intended to be fixed onto the anti-theft structure, with a housing (11), made from electrically insulating and mouldable material, such as plastic material, the said housing being hollow, open and equipped with a base (42) provided with passages (46) and extra thicknesses (80) projecting inside the housing (11) and having hollows (49), fixed contacts (16 and 19 to 24) interdependently borne internally by the said housing (11), a rotor (8) mounted rotating inside the support (1, 11) and provided with coupling means (51) for rotationally driving it by means of the ignition key, a rotating cursor (9) rotationally connected to the rotor (8) whilst being mounted axially movably in relation thereto, and mobile contacts (61) integral with the cursor (9) for cooperation with the fixed contacts (16 and 19 to 24) and setting up electric circuits in angular positions determined in dependence of the position or the ignition key,
    characterised in that some at least of the said fixed contacts (16 and 19 ta 24) are mounted so that the parts of the fixed contacts which are in contact with the mobile contacts (61) are located elevated at a distance from the base (42) of the housing (11), these parts creating a clearance between the said fixed contacts and the base (42), and in that some at least of the said fixed contacts (16, 19, 20 and 22 to 24) have firstly a first tongue (91), provided with hookinq means (47), for anchoring in a said hollow (49), and secondly, a second tongue (92), provided with hooking means (47) for anchoring in a said passage (46), the sale passage (46) being separated from the said hollow (49).
  2. A switch according to Claim 1,
    characterised in that the said hollows (49) consist of blind holes.
  3. A switch according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that some at least of the said fixed contacts (16, 19 to 24) are provided, for coopération with the mobile contacts (61), with bent parts extending parallel to the base (42) of the housing (11).
  4. A switch according to any one of Claims 1 to 3,
    characterised in that the passage (46) and the hollows (49) are equipped with a tapered end.
  5. A switch according to any one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that an additional extra thickness (94), with hollow (49) and having a reduced height, is provided for mounting an additional fixed contact (18).
  6. A switch according to Claim 5,
    characterised in that the additional fixed contact (18) has a first tongue (91) and a second tongue (92) for respectively mounting in the hollow (49) of the additional extra thickness (94) and in a passage (46) in the base (42) of the housing (11).
  7. A switch according to Claim 6,
    characterised in that an elastic blade (17), belonging to a secondary presence switch of the ignition key, has one end fixed to the said additional fixed contact (18).
  8. A switch according to any one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the housing (11) has an elastic tongue (75), with an end hook (76), protruding from the base (42) for holding back a pusher (13) belonging to a secondary presence switch of the ignition key.
  9. A switch according to Claim 8,
    characterised in that the base (42) of the housing (11) bears axially protruding slides (86) for guiding the displacement of the said pusher (13).
  10. A switch according to any one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that for forming the hooking means, each first (91) and second (92) tongue has two point-shaped projections (47) extending on either side of said tongue concerned.
  11. A switch according to any one of the preceding Claims,
    characterised in that the said secondary tongues (92) pass through the said passages (46) in order to open into a connecting part (41) belonging to the housing (11).
  12. A switch according to any one of Claims 3 to 11,
    characterised in that the said fixed contacts (16 and 19 to 24) are distributed circumferentially totally along two concentric paths, and in that the said extra thicknesses (80, 94) form a network creating a central clearance.
