Description

The present invention relates to a fastening arrangement for a railing post according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Working platforms or platforms and catwalks on machine systems must be enclosed with a railing for safety reasons. When the machine is being revised or already assembled, these railings must be removable to enable or facilitate access to the machine.
From GB-A-2 062 076 a terrain post is known, at the lower end of which a connecting element is screwed, which can be hung on an edge of a pedestal. A secure connection between the railing post and the pedestal can be achieved with a mandrel wrapping around the railing post, which is guided through a hole in the upper leg of the connecting element and two exactly aligned holes in the edge surround.

To mount the railings on the platform, the upper horizontal railing parts must be detached from the posts, as these can only be attached at the predetermined locations with holes in the edge surrounds. If, in addition, the edging does not consist of trapezoidal sheets, a hole must also be provided in the lower leg of the connecting element, which is aligned with the one above. Even minor manufacturing inaccuracies or bending due to improper handling mean that the known railing posts cannot be attached or can only be attached with difficulty. Furthermore, there is no possibility of assembling the railing other than in the way originally produced. This means that all parts of the railing must be identified precisely during revision work so that they can be reassembled later.

Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen.
The invention seeks to remedy this.
The invention, as defined in claim 1, achieves the object of providing a fastening arrangement for a railing post on the edge surround of work platforms and the like to attach.

With the fastening arrangement according to the invention, all fastening devices on the edge surrounds to be adapted to the respective conditions of use of the platform are dispensed with, and railing sections of any length can be installed at any point on the edge surround on the construction site. The railing posts can be attached to the edge surrounds with a single movement and are held there without any further measures. To secure the posts, they can be fixed to the edge surrounds using connecting elements. The railings can be removed from the pedestals at any time and reassembled at any point. All preparatory work in the workshop and compliance with tolerances are eliminated. The edge edging profile according to the invention is designed such that it has high stability on the one hand and is protected against the penetration of aggressive liquids, for example in chemical plants.

The vertical railing post 1, which is designed as a round tube in FIG. 1, bears against a vertically extending leg 3 of an edge border 5 of a platform 7, which is preferably made from a drawn profile. A box profile 11 is arranged on the edge surround profile 5 in the region of its lower edge 9, and a T-shaped groove 13 is embedded in the underside of the latter. A rectangular cavity 15 is provided above the T-groove 13. The upper edge 17 of the leg 3 preferably has a greater wall thickness than the region of the leg 3 located underneath. At the lower end of the post 1, a tab 19 projecting therefrom, essentially at right angles, is attached, which abuts the lower edge 9 of the rim and the box profile and the latter towers horizontally. The section 21 of the tab 19 projecting beyond the box profile is bent downwards.

The tab 19 has a slot-shaped recess 23 at the end facing away from the post 1, through which the screw bolt 27, for example a hammer head screw, or a slot nut 25 inserted into the T-slot 13 with screw bolt 27 is passed. A screw nut 29 and a washer 31 are attached to the screw bolt 27. The tab 19 can be screwed or welded to the post 1. At a distance a from the upper edge of the tab 19, a downward-pointing hook 33 is firmly connected to the post 1. The hook space 35 has a clear width b which corresponds to the thickness of the upper edge 17 of the leg 3. The hook 33 can be welded to the post 1 or designed as a bracket and clamped to the post 1.

The attachment of the railing post 1 to the edge 5 is described in more detail below: The railing post 1 or a railing consisting of several posts 1 connected by horizontal tubes is inclined by an angle alpha (indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 2) from above onto the The upper edge 17 of the leg 3 is brought in until the hook (s) 33 abut the upper edge 17. Then the railing post or posts 1 are pivoted vertically, and the tab 19 slides on the lower edge 9 under the box section 11 and comes into contact therewith. When the post 1 is pivoted, a screw bolt 27 protruding from the T-slot 13 slides into the recess 23 on the bracket 19. As soon as the railing post 1 is hooked onto the upper edge 17 of the leg 3 and pivoted into the vertical, the railing or the Railing post 1 in this position. The nut 29 is then used to secure the railing 1 so that it does not move inwards, i.e. can be pivoted in the direction of the catwalk. The cranked section 21 on the tab 19 means that the railing post 1 can no longer be detached from the rim 5 even when the nut 29 is tightened by hand.

In the embodiment of the invention according to FIG. 3, a spring-loaded tab 119, whose end section 137 is bent upwards, takes the place of the rigid tab 19. Instead of an upwardly bent end section, an upwardly directed cam 139 can also be attached to the tab 119, which engages with the railing post 101 placed vertically on the rear side of the box section 111. The railing post 101 according to FIG. 3 can be analogous to that in FIG. 2 on the border 105 are put on. During the pivoting movement into the vertical, the section 137 and / or the cam 139 snaps onto the rear edge of the box section 111 and thus locks the post 101 onto the edge frame 105. To release the post 101, the end section 117 is removed by hand against the force of the spring pulled down and then the railing post 101 pivoted. Conventional gratings 41 can be placed on the upper edge of the box section 11, 111 and, if necessary, welded to the border 5. Welding the gratings 41 to the border 5 naturally increases the stability between the post 1 and the pedestal, since in this way the post 1 transmitted forces on the edge 5 taken up by the grates 41 and thereby the entire construction is stiffened.
By inserting profile plugs into the cavities 15 of two adjacent edge surrounds 5, these can be connected to one another without tools.

In a further embodiment of the invention according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the T-groove 13 attached to the border 5 serves to fasten the border 5 to a substructure, e.g. on a cantilever arm or a support 47 on which the platform 7 rests. The connection between the border 5 and the support 47 is made by a clamping claw 49, which is pressed by the screw bolt 27, which is held in the T-groove 13, to the lower edge of the border 5.
