Bei bekannten Elementen dieser Art ist der Isolatorbügel an jedem Ende gabelförmig ausgebildet, wobei ein stegförmiges Stahlsegment mit einer inneren und äußeren Bügellasche verschweißt ist, wobei die innere Bügellasche die Anlagefläche für den eigentlichen Isolator bildet. Die Herstellung derartiger Isolatorbügel ist sehr aufwendig, was in gleicher Weise gilt, wenn ein solcher Isolatorbügel einteilig als Gesenkschmiedestück hergestellt wird. Außerdem besteht sowohl bei einem als Schweißteil als auch bei einem als Gesenkschmiedestück ausgebildeten Isolatorbügel die Gefahr der Gabelaufbiegung beim Auftreten von Überlasten. Man hat dem zwar bereits entgegenzuwirken versucht, daß man die Gabel durch Querbolzen mit Außengewinde im Innengewinde der inneren Gabellasche zusammenhält. Dabei hat aber der Querbolzen eine ungünstige Belastung im durch Kerbwirkung gefährdeten Gewindeteil.
