Wenn sich das freie Ende 11 des Ankers 10 in der Ausnehmung 12 des Sperrelementes 5 befindet, ist das Sperrelement 5 unverschiebbar arretiert mit der Folge, daß es auch den Schließhaken 2 in der Schließstellung gemäß Fig. 4 formschlüssig hält. Die Tür läßt sich daher nicht öffnen. Erst wenn der Anker 10 die Ausnehmung 12 im Sperrelement 5 wieder verlassen hat, was entweder automatisch oder manuell per Drucktaste nach Programmablauf möglich ist, ist das Sperrelement 5 grundsätzlich wieder bewegbar, so daß die Tür mit Hilfe einer in den Figuren nicht dargestellten Betätigungstaste geöffnet werden kann. Magnetverschluß für eine Haushaltsmaschine, insbesondere für die Tür einer Waschmaschine mit einem Schließhaken einerseits und mit einem beweglichen, mit Hilfe einer Magnetspule und ihres Ankers arretierbaren sowie freigebbaren Sperrelement für den Schließhaken und mit weiteren, mechanischen und elektrischen Schalt- und Sicherungselementen andererseits, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß a) für den Anker (10) zwei Endstellungen (A, B) vorgesehen sind, in denen er in der Magnetspule (9) mechanisch fixierbar ist, b) daß die den Anker (10) in der Magnetspule (9) bewegende Magnetkraft größer ist als die den Anker (10) in den Endstellungen (A, B) fixierende Haltekraft, c) daß die den Anker (10) bewegende Magnetkraft ihn in Richtung einer Zwischenstellung (C) zwischen den beiden mechanisch fixierbaren Endstellungen (A, B) zieht und d) daß der Stromkreis in der Magnetspule (9) unterbrochen wird, sobald sich der Anker (10) unter Überwindung der mechanisch fixierenden Haltekraft aus seiner jeweiligen Endstellung (A bzw. B) entfernt hat und eine ausreichende Beschleunigung besitzt, um sich bis in die andere Endstellung (A bzw. B) zu bewegen.
