Abstract

The invention describes a method of three-dimensional roll-stretch-bending in combination with a mandrel bending station and the corresponding apparatus for this purpose, the section to be bent first of all being clamped at both ends and subjected to a prestress and the section then being bent, at least one shaping roller being pressed against the section in the shaping region and adjusted in three dimensions. In order also to be able to bend closed or partially open sections, the mandrel bending station, having one or more mandrels around which the section to be bent is bent, is moved in the same direction as the shaping rollers, which are pressed against the mandrel bending station from the outside. <IMAGE>
