Description

The invention relates to an electrical plug-in device with a plug and a socket housing, in which the plug is releasably lockable by a substantially U-shaped bracket on the socket housing, which is displaceably guided in a receiving groove of the socket housing transversely to the plug-in direction, the spring clip having legs arranged on a web engages with lugs formed in the locking position on the connector and in the release position by spreading the legs, the elbows swings out of the path of movement of the lugs.

It is already known in the case of an electrical plug-in device with plug and plug housing (DE-OS 3 150 424) to releasably lock the plug by means of a spring clip displaceably guided in a groove in the plug housing. In the locking position, the legs of the spring clip overlap with the latching lugs of the plug in this plug-in device, while the latches can be released by lateral spreading of the legs. The spring bracket with the leg ends must be slid onto the expansion housing-fixed expansion bevels for the spreading. As a disadvantage, the spring clip has to be moved over a large displacement distance to release the locking lugs. In addition, the necessity of using large sliding distances in the event of incomplete actuation leads to insufficient opening, which leads to damage to the plug.

It is an object of the invention to achieve the opening and closing of the plug device with short displacement movements of the spring clip in a plug device of this type.

This object is achieved in that the spring clip has a web that is shorter in length to the width of the socket housing, and that first leg sections that extend obliquely outward connect to the web ends, to which second leg sections that point essentially transversely to the web axis and have bent-off bends are connected and that by sliding the first leg sections onto projections formed in the receiving groove, the first and the second leg sections can be pivoted outward with the offsets to release the latching lugs. In a preferred embodiment, the receiving groove has partial lengths at the regions facing the web of the spring clip with inner boundary surfaces extending obliquely outwards and towards the plug lugs and partial lengths at the ends facing away from the web with inner boundary surfaces extending parallel to the direction of displacement, the oblique and the form parallel inner boundary surfaces of the partial lengths serving as projections corner areas onto which the oblique first leg sections of the spring clip can be pushed for spreading movements of the legs. With the plug-in device, large deflections of the legs of the spring clip and their cranking can be achieved by sliding the oblique leg sections onto the projections, which are preferably formed by the corner areas, with short displacement paths, which leads to quick and safe handling of the plug-in device with regard to opening and closing the same .

In an embodiment of the plug-in device, it is provided that the partial lengths extending parallel to the direction of displacement of the spring clip at a distance in front of the connector lugs are provided with boundary surfaces extending transversely to the direction of displacement of the spring clip, against which the cranked portions can be supported in the locking position of the spring clip for fixing the same.

The spring clip is preferably formed by a wire molded part. It is also possible to use a suitable flat strip with spring properties made of a metallic material or a plastic as a spring clip.

Finally, the handling of the plug device over the duration of the spreading movements can be made easier if the web of the spring clip is curved outward in an arc shape. In a modification of this idea, the web of the spring clip can also be formed by a plurality of web sections arranged at an obtuse angle.

To support the fixation of the spring clip on the socket housing, the legs of the spring clip can be bent inwards, so that when the spring clip is applied, the legs rest against the inner boundary surfaces of the receiving groove with a prestress.

  • Fig. 1ein Buchsengehäuse mit Federbügel im Schnitt,
  • Fig. 2 einen Federbügel in Draufsicht und
  • Fig. 3 ein Buchsengehäuse im Längsschnitt.
The invention is illustrated using an exemplary embodiment in the drawing. Show it:
  • 1 a socket housing with spring clip in section,
  • Fig. 2 shows a spring clip in plan view and
  • Fig. 3 shows a socket housing in longitudinal section.

In Fig. 1 is a socket housing that 1 'socket contacts 2 receives in a central opening. The socket contacts 2 are held immovably by a locking member 5 fixed with a nose 3 in a recess 4, the locking member 5 being held by a securing body 6. The securing body 6 comes into effect with a projection 7 with a recess 8. With 9 a sealing body is designated.

The socket housing 1 is provided with a receiving groove 10, which is delimited over a part length by tabs 11. The receiving groove 10 serves to guide a spring clip 12, which is essentially U-shaped. On the web 12 'of the spring clip 12, legs 13 attack this, each of which has an obliquely outwardly directed first section 13', to which each second section 13 'with offsets 13'˝ connect. The bends 13'˝ serve as locking members, the locking lugs of inserted into the socket housing 1 (not shown) overlap.

In the embodiment, the web 12 'is formed shorter in length than the width of the socket housing 1. The web 12' of FIG. 1 is straight, while the web 12 'of FIG. 2 is formed by obtuse-angled sections. It is also conceivable to make the web arcuate (not shown). The receiving groove 10 for the spring clip 12 is guided obliquely outwards over the areas receiving the legs 13 over first partial lengths 10 '(FIG. 1) and guided over further partial lengths 10' parallel to the direction of insertion of the spring clip 12. The ends of the partial lengths 10˝ are limited by surfaces 14 pointing transversely to the direction of insertion, which form support surfaces for the crankings 13'˝ for fixing the spring clip 12 to the connector housing 1.

Under the action of a displacement force on the web 12 ', the spring clip 12 is moved in the direction of the central opening 1'. Here, the first oblique sections 13 'of the spring clip 12 on the corner regions 15 of the partial lengths 10', 10 'of the receiving groove 10 and are bent outwards when the spring clip 12 is pushed in correspondingly far (FIG. 1, dashed). In this position, the offsets 12'˝ are pivoted out of the path of movement of the locking lugs of the plug, as a result of which the plug can be removed from the socket housing 1. Due to the operative connection of the inclined sections 13 'with the corner regions 15 sufficiently large spreads to open or close the plug device can be achieved with small displacement movements.
