Abstract

A process for reusing residues containing polymers and fillers is proposed. The optionally milled residues in which at least 80% by weight of the particles have a size of not more than 0.1 mm are used as fillers in bituminous materials for building protection and in the acoustic sector for the production of sound-absorbing films. Compared with conventional fillers, such as ground slate, they increase the plasticity range and the heat stability.
