Definitions
- the invention relates to a ski consisting of a core and at least an upper and a lower cover layer, with recesses being recessed in the core in the binding area, in which containers are fixed, in which inserts for anchoring the end sections of fastening screws for ski bindings are inserted, wherein each insert is composed of at least two layers, of which one layer consists of elastomeric material and the other layer consists of solid material, for example of metal and / or glass fiber reinforced plastic.
- the object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages and to provide a solution in which the layer of elastomeric material required for vibration damping no longer has to be drilled through in the manufacture of the bore for the fastening screws.
- the layer of elastomeric material is under the layer of metal and / or glass fiber reinforced plastic and is firmly connected to both the bottom of the container and the latter layer, it is possible to remove the layer to stress elastomeric material even under tension. As a result, the layer of elastomeric material can be used to dampen the vibrations both in the compression and in the tension area.
- the features of claim 2 ensure a full support of the mounting plate on the top of the ski, as long as the ski is not subjected to vibrations.
- the measure of claim 3 makes it possible to dampen vibrations of the mounting plate in both height directions.
- FIG. 1 is a longitudinal section along the line I-I in FIG. 2 through a first embodiment and FIG. 2 is a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1.
- 3 shows an associated cross section along the line III-III in FIG.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 show cross sections, each corresponding to a detail in FIG. 3, of two further embodiments on a larger scale and in the unloaded state.
- Fig.4a shows the embodiment of Fig.4 at the highest load.
- a ski is designated 1. It has a core 2, which is covered on its upper side by an upper flange 3 and on its underside by a lower flange 4. Sidewalls 5 are attached to the narrow side surfaces of the core 2.

- a container 8 which is open at the top and closed off by a cover 7, is made of sheet metal in the present exemplary embodiment.
- An insert consisting of two layers, namely an upper layer 9 and a lower layer 10, is inserted into each container 8.
- the upper layer 9 consists of metal and / or of glass fiber reinforced plastic.
- the lower layer 10 is made of an elastomeric material with a hardness of 40-70 Shore A.
- the lower layer 10 is firmly connected both to the bottom 8a of the container 8 and to the upper layer 9, for example by gluing or vulcanizing.
- the second embodiment of a ski 1 'shown in the unloaded state in FIG. 4 is characterized in that there is an intermediate space 14 between the mounting plate 13' and the upper side 1'a of the ski 1 '.
- Another difference is that the lower layer 10 'has a lateral play relative to the container 8', which makes it possible for the lower layer 10 'not only to stretch, but also something can also be squeezed together. In this embodiment, the movement of the binding can therefore be damped in both directions.
- the height of the intermediate space 14 is dimensioned such that the mounting plate 13 'is always at a distance from the top of the ski 1'a, even under the highest loads.
- the practical dimensioning of this height has to take place in coordination with the material properties and the dimensions of the lower layer 10 '.
- FIG. 4 a shows this position, the intermediate space being designated 14 ′ here. It can be clearly seen that the lower layer 10 'completely fills the space available in the container 8' and that the end of the screw 11 'is still at a distance from the bottom 8'a of the container 8'.
- the third embodiment of a ski 1 ′′ shown in FIG. 5 is similar to that described last. It also dampens the vibrations of the bond in both directions. It differs from the second embodiment only in that a sealing layer 15 made of an elastomeric material, for example made of foam rubber, is arranged in the intermediate space 14 ′′.
- the invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing and described above. Rather, various modifications thereof are possible without leaving the scope of the invention.
- metal die-casting to produce the container instead of sheet metal.
- the container can be injection molded from a glass fiber reinforced plastic. It is also possible to use rubber rings to seal the spacer sleeves from the top of the ski.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a ski consisting of a core and at least an upper and a lower cover layer, with recesses being recessed in the core in the binding area, in which containers are fixed, in which inserts for anchoring the end sections of fastening screws for ski bindings are inserted, wherein each insert is composed of at least two layers, of which one layer consists of elastomeric material and the other layer consists of solid material, for example of metal and / or glass fiber reinforced plastic.
Such a ski has been made available to the public through the Tyrolia prospect 1989/90 (No. 136417, "News and Highlights") or through an exhibition at ISPO 1989 (23 to 26 February 1989). However, the assembly of the binding was associated with certain difficulties with this ski, since not only the upper cover layer but also the layer of elastomer material had to be drilled with a single step drill. Rubber particles separated from the last-mentioned layer, which in some cases blocked the borehole after the drilling process and therefore had to be removed before the screw was inserted. In addition, the guidance of the drill in the elastic layer was not sufficiently stable.
The object of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages and to provide a solution in which the layer of elastomeric material required for vibration damping no longer has to be drilled through in the manufacture of the bore for the fastening screws.
This object is achieved by the features of

In the drawing, for example, embodiments of a ski according to the invention are shown. 1 is a longitudinal section along the line I-I in FIG. 2 through a first embodiment and FIG. 2 is a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1. 3 shows an associated cross section along the line III-III in FIG. FIGS. 4 and 5 show cross sections, each corresponding to a detail in FIG. 3, of two further embodiments on a larger scale and in the unloaded state. Fig.4a shows the embodiment of Fig.4 at the highest load.
In Figures 1 to 3, a ski is designated 1. It has a
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, two
Each
Die Schwingungen klingen daher schneller ab.While the skier is driving, all elements are in the position shown in Fig. 3, as long as the slope is flat. However, if the piste is wavy, the skier is temporarily lifted off
The second embodiment of a ski 1 'shown in the unloaded state in FIG. 4 is characterized in that there is an
The height of the
The third embodiment of a
The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing and described above. Rather, various modifications thereof are possible without leaving the scope of the invention. For example, it would be conceivable to use metal die-casting to produce the container instead of sheet metal. Furthermore, the container can be injection molded from a glass fiber reinforced plastic. It is also possible to use rubber rings to seal the spacer sleeves from the top of the ski.
