Ein solcher Staubsauger ist durch das DE-GM 75 14 249 bekannt. Bei diesem Staubsauger ist ein röhrenförmig ausgebildeter Körper aus Schaumstoff über den Motor des Gebläseaggregates geschoben. Der auf der freien Stirnseite des Motors austretende Luftstrom wird mittels einer formstabilen Umlenkkappe, die auf das Motorgehäuse aufgesetzt ist, in Richtung zum Gebläse des Gebläseaggregates umgelenkt und strömt zwischen der Außenseite der Umlenkkappe und dem Schaumstroffkörper zur mit Austrittsschlitzen versehenen Rückseite des Staubsaugers. Sowohl die Umlenkkappe als auch der röhrenförmige Schaumstoffkörper beanspruchen viel Raum, so daß für die Vorratshaltung bei der Fertigung ein entsprechend hoher Bedarf an Lagerraum besteht.Such a vacuum cleaner is known from DE-GM 75 14 249. Mit 1 ist ein Staubsauger bezeichnet, in dessen Gehäuse ein Staubraum 2 und ein Gebläseraum 3 ausgebildet ist.   2. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 1, characterised in that there is provided a rigid cap (8) overlapping the sound-absorbing body (7) placed on the free front end of the motor (4).
  3. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 2, characterised in that the cap (8) is pre-formed on the vacuum cleaner housing.
  4. Vacuum cleaner according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the sound-absorbing body (7) is provided with at least one insertion aperture (11) fitting on to a projection (12) provided at the free front end of the motor (4).
