Außerdem bietet die Sammel-Einrichtung unter Vermeidung einer zusätzlichen aufwendigen kontinuierlichen Transporteinheit eine Speichermöglichkeit für die Zwischenlagen, die z.B. in besonders rationeller Weise erst nach Bildung eines größeren Paketes von der Sammel-Einrichtung zu entfernen sind. Durch die Möglichkeit zum Abtransport der Zwischenlagen sind diese problemlos in einen Bereich der Anlage transportierbar, wo die Zwischenlagen einerseits den kontinuierlichen Schwellentransport nicht beeinträchtigen und andererseits genügend Lagerkapazität zur Aufnahme sämtlicher während eines Arbeitseinsatzes der Anlage anfallender Zwischenlagen zur Verfügung steht.This object is achieved by the features in the characterizing part of claim 1. Dieser sind in horizontaler Ebene bzw. parallel zur Neuschwellenlage und in Maschinenlängsrichtung verschiebbare, in Querrichtung voneinander distanzierte Abstreifelemente 53 zur Anlage an eine Seitenfläche der auf den Neuschwellen 49 liegenden Zwischenlagen 51 zugeordnet. Diese Abstreifelemente 53 sind jeweils in einer seitlich neben der Neuschwellenlage angeordneten Schiene 54 geführt und mit einer durch einen Antrieb 55 in Längsbewegung versetzbaren Kette 56 verbunden. Die Transporteinrichtung 52 setzt sich aus zwei in Maschinenquerrichtung voneinander distanzierten, durch einen Antrieb beaufschlagbaren Kettenbahnen 57 zusammen, die mit einer Vielzahl von abstehenden und in Längsrichtung voneinander distanzierten Mitnahmeorganen 5o verbunden sind. Damit ist sichergestellt, daß der genannte Vortransport der Schwellenlage ohne Verschiebung der auf dieser liegenden beiden Zwischenlagen 51 erfolgt. Als Folge einer Anlage der Neuschwelle 49 an einen Anschlag 65 werden die beiden Abstreifelemente 53 (siehe Pfeile im Bereich der strichpunktierten Darstellung) in die über die äußeren Neuschwellen ragende Querposition umgeklappt und unter Beaufschlagung des Antriebes 55 in der durch einen Pfeil 63 dargestellten Richtung längsverschoben. Dabei kommt es zu einer Anlage an die beiden Endbereiche der ersten Zwischenlage 51, die in weiterer Folge ebenso wie die zweite Zwischenlage 51 in Richtung zur Transporteinrichtung 52 verschoben wird. Im vorderen Endbereich der Neuschwellen 49 werden die Zwischenlagen 51 durch die Mitnahmeorgane 5o erfaßt und zum anschließenden Abwurf in den Container 61 hochtransportiert. Inzwischen werden die Abstreifelemente 53 wieder in eine in Maschinenlängsrichtung verlaufende Lage umgeklappt und in die Ausgangsposition zurückverschoben (strichpunktierte Linien). Sobald die beiden Zwischenlagen 51 von der Neuschwellenlage entfernt sind, wird die erste Neuschwelle 49 auf den anschließenden Längsförderer 64 geschoben und von diesem zur Neuschwellen-Ablagevorrichtung transportiert. As a result of the new threshold 49 bearing against a stop 65, the two stripping elements 53 (see arrows in the dash-dotted line) are folded over into the transverse position projecting beyond the outer new thresholds and are moved longitudinally in the direction shown by an arrow 63 when the drive 55 is actuated. This results in an abutment against the two end regions of the first intermediate layer 51, which subsequently, like the second intermediate layer 51, is subsequently displaced in the direction of the transport device 52. In the front end region of the new sleepers 49, the intermediate layers 51 are gripped by the entrainment members 5o and transported up into the container 61 for subsequent discharge. In the meantime, the stripping elements 53 are folded back into a position running in the longitudinal direction of the machine and pushed back into the starting position (dash-dotted lines). As soon as the two intermediate layers 51 are removed from the new threshold position, the first new sleeper 49 is pushed onto the subsequent longitudinal conveyor 64 and transported by the latter to the new sleeper storage device. In a further variant, the two rails 54 together with the stripping elements 53 could also be pivoted into a horizontal working position for stripping from a pivoted-up position for the undisturbed advance transport of the new sleepers 49 together with the intermediate layers 51.

Claims (12)

  1. A mobile installation, for continuously laying down sleepers of a railway track, comprising track vehicles for transporting new sleepers, a sleeper-laying vehicle with devices for laying the new sleepers and with longitudinal conveyors for the transportation thereof, and comprising at least one gantry crane which is movable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle formation and is provided with gripping devices for transporting the new sleepers, characterised in that disposed in the transfer region (32; 48) of the new sleepers (12; 49) by the gantry crane (21) on to the longitudinal conveyor (10) is a collecting device (33; 47) for collecting and transporting away spacers (27; 51) provided for spacing the new sleepers (12; 49) apart.
  2. An installation according to claim 1, characterised in that the collecting device (33) is designed as an approximately horizontal conveyor belt (37), arranged above the transfer region (32), with a transporting direction extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
  3. An installation according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that provided on one longitudinal side of the vehicle (5) or the installation (1) in the region of the collecting device (33) for storing the spacers (27) there is a standing area (40) with a guard rail to accommodate an operator.
  4. An installation according to one of claims 1, 2 or 3, characterised in that the transfer region (32) of the new sleepers (12) consists of a roller conveyor (36) [having] horizontal rollers (35) with axes extending transversely to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, the length of which, extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, corresponds at least to twice the length of a sleeper, and in that the collecting device (33) for the spacers (27) is disposed above the front half of the roller conveyor (36), in the transporting direction of the new sleepers.
  5. An installation according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the collecting device (33) is arranged so as to be assymetrical in relation to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, forming a long and a short section, the short section being disposed in the region of the standing area (40) for the operator.
  6. An installation according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that a transporting device (28) provided for storing the spacers (27) is arranged on the gantry crane (21) as a further part of the collecting device (33) and comprises rollers (29) which are rotatable about axes extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the gantry crane (21) or the installation (1).
  7. An installation according to claim 6, characterised in that provided on the front end of the gantry crane (21), in the transporting direction of the new sleepers, is a crane arm (30) extending and projecting in the longitudinal direction of the said gantry crane, with a travelling trolley (31) which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the said crane arm.
  8. An installation according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that disposed on the vehicle (5) provided, in the transporting direction of the new sleepers, immediately before the transfer region (32) thereof is a transporting device (46) for carrying the spacers (27) with a transporting direction extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
  9. An installation according to claim 8, characterised in that provided in the region of the collecting device (33) itself or on the vehicle (5) adjoining it is a crane (43) for transporting the spacers (27) from the collecting device (33) on to the transporting device (46).
  10. An installation according to claim 1, characterised in that the collecting device (47) is composed of a transporting device (52) which adjoins the transfer region (48) of the new sleepers (49) and which has carrier components (50) for transporting the spacers (51) upwards, with which there are associated wiping elements (53), displaceable in the horizontal plane and in the longitudinal direction of the machine and spaced apart from one another in the transverse direction, for abutment against a side surface of the spacers (51) lying on the new sleepers.
  11. An installation according to claim 10, characterised in that adjoining the upper end region of the transporting device (52) for the spacers (51) there is provided a container (61), located at a lower level in comparison with this end region, for receiving the spacers (51).
  12. An installation according to claim 10 or 11, characterised in that the container (61) adjoining the transport device (52) for receiving the spacers (51) has instead of a base a base conveyor belt (62), provided with a drive, with a transporting direction extending in the longitudinal direction of the machine.
