Definitions
- the invention has for its object to further develop the generic bulk container with discharge funnel in such a way that bridging over the discharge opening, caking on the bunker walls and formation of dead zones are reliably avoided.
- the bulk goods can be drawn off without any trough formation.
- the bulk material drops evenly over the entire cross-section. This also applies in particular to the bulk material from the peripheral areas, since a free slope angle can form below the hollow sliding bodies open at the bottom, which promotes the flow of the bulk material in the outer area, so that there is no compression as a result of pressure build-up.
- a free slope angle can form below the hollow sliding bodies open at the bottom, which promotes the flow of the bulk material in the outer area, so that there is no compression as a result of pressure build-up.
- the uniformity of the flow behavior can be further improved by introducing gas as a fluidizing agent into the cavities open at the bottom.
- the fluidization effect reduces the internal friction of the bulk particles.
- the flow behavior is evened out both in cylindrical bulk containers with conical discharge funnels and internals, and in bulk containers with rectangular or square cross sections.
- the impairments which usually occur in rectangular or square containers in the region of the edge angles of the funnel walls and which can lead to flow delays or even to dead zones are not observed in the embodiment according to the invention.
- the internals are expediently fixed in the outlet funnel by means of brackets.
- other fixations are also possible, for example via cable suspensions.
- the sliding body in the case of bulk goods containers with cross-flow can be configured on the gas outlet side without an outer side wall, in order to take into account the changed bulk material behavior compared to a bulk goods container through which flow flows from below.
- the outer side walls can be designed to be displaceable on one or also on several sides of a square or rectangular container, for example with the aid of a movable wall, in order to control the bulk material behavior of different bulk materials by shortening or lengthening the outer side wall can.
- the distributor cone can form a roof-shaped distributor cross that is open at the bottom be expanded, in which the sliding body is integrated in order to achieve an even better fluidization of the bulk material.
- a bulk container 1 according to the invention is shown in a cylindrical configuration, to which an outlet funnel 2 is connected in a conical shape.
- a distributor cone 3 designed as a double cone, to which a conical sliding body 4 is assigned, which concentrically surrounds the centrally arranged distribution cone 3 and is connected to the sliding body 4 and the discharge funnel 2 via holding elements (not shown here).
- the sliding body 4 is designed as a hollow body which is enclosed by three surfaces, namely an outer side wall 8, an inner side wall 9 and an upper end wall 12.
- the sliding body 4 is open on the side opposite the upper end wall 12.
- the walls 8, 9 and 12 and also the boundary walls of the distributor cone 3 are parallel to the wall of the discharge funnel 2 aligned and thus have an equally large angle of inclination 6.
- the bulk material is withdrawn from the bulk material container 1 via a bulk material outlet 5, an unimpeded flow of bulk material occurring in the entire free cross-sectional area, as is represented by the flow arrows 11.
- An embankment 10 with an embankment angle 7 is formed on the open side of the sliding body 4. Surprisingly, it is generally sufficient for the sliding body 4 to be open at the bottom in order to achieve a uniform removal of the bulk material from the bulk material container 1.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 show a bulk goods container 1 with a square cross section.
- the outlet funnel 2 is assigned a gas line 13 which is guided around it.
- holders 14 are provided in the center, to which branch lines of the gas line 13 are attached, which connect to the sliding body 4.
- the gas emerging in the region of the embankment 10, indicated by arrows improves the fluidization of the bulk material.
- the sliding body 4 also has a square cross-sectional shape with four outer side walls 8 and four inner side walls 9, which are connected via four end walls 12.
- the outer side walls 8 are shorter than the inner side walls 9.
- a corner wall 8c (FIG. 4) can be provided in each of the corner regions, each connecting two adjacent side walls 8 and being shorter as this. In this way, the fact is taken into account that, due to the geometry, a flatter angle of inclination 6 (FIG. 1) is present in the corner areas than in the wall area.
- Figure 5 shows a bulk container 1 through which a gas flows transversely.
- the lateral gas spaces 16 and 17 on the gas inlet and gas outlet side are separated from the bulk material by blinds 15.
- An embankment 10 is formed between the blinds 15.
- the outer side wall 8 In order to determine the optimal length of the outer side wall 8 on the gas inlet side of the container 1 for a specific bulk material, it may be advisable to design the outer side wall 8 as an outer sliding wall 8b.
- the design as a sliding wall Bb is not only limited to bulk material containers 1 through which flow is transversely, but is also suitable as a control element for bulk material containers 1 in which the gas is routed from bottom to top (e.g. according to FIG. 3).
- FIG. 6 shows a discharge funnel 2 of a bulk goods container 1 with a rectangular cross section in plan view, in which the transverse walls of the sliding body 4 are 8, 9 and 12 and the longitudinal walls are designated 8a, 9a and 12a.
- the outer side wall 8 transverse wall
- the outer side wall 8a longitudinal wall
- a corner wall 8c is provided in each of the corner areas, which in turn is shorter than the side wall 8.
- Figure 8 shows a sliding body 4 for a bulk container 1 with a rectangular cross-section in a clear spatial representation. It contains the identification of the heights of the outer side walls, namely the outer side wall 8a is the height A, the outer side wall 8 the height A 'and the corner wall 8c the height B.
- the distributor cone 3 is expanded to a roof-shaped distributor cross 18 which is open at the bottom and which is connected to the sliding body 4 and connects to gas inlets 19 in the outlet funnel 2.
- the area is expanded through which the gas, as indicated by flow arrows 21, can be introduced into the bulk material 22 in order to loosen it up and to improve its flow properties.
- the slope 20, which forms below the entire distributor cross 18 (FIG. 9), is added to the slope 10 below the sliding body 4.
- the dimensions of the model were as follows: The total height was around 40 cm, of which the funnel height was 13 cm. The length of the container was around 18 cm and the width was around 12.5 cm.

Abstract
Description
Bulk goods containers with discharge funnels, in which a distributor cone is arranged in the center, which is surrounded by sliding elements, are known from the publication "Reisner et al, Silos and Bunkers for Bulk Material Storage, Trans Tech Publications 1971, pages 90 and 91".
In this known bulk container with discharge funnel, four inclined sliding plates are provided as sliding elements, which are assigned to a centrally arranged distributor cone. The inclination of the slabs is chosen to be about 10% greater than the angle of repose of the bulk material. Their number depends on the size of the bunker and the grain size of the bulk material. The distance between the plates should be at least three times the maximum grain diameter. This arrangement is intended to achieve a uniform lowering of the bulk material above. It has been shown, however, that in the known bulk material container with discharge funnel, the main problems that occur when bunkering bulk goods, such as blocking the discharge opening by bridging, caking on the bunker walls, the formation of dead zones and thus a reduction in the bunker effectiveness , not to be avoided completely.
The invention has for its object to further develop the generic bulk container with discharge funnel in such a way that bridging over the discharge opening, caking on the bunker walls and formation of dead zones are reliably avoided.
Starting from a bulk goods container with an outlet funnel of the generic type, this object is achieved by the characterizing features of
Further refinements are laid down in
In the bulk goods containers according to the invention with discharge funnels, the bulk goods can be drawn off without any trough formation. The bulk material drops evenly over the entire cross-section. This also applies in particular to the bulk material from the peripheral areas, since a free slope angle can form below the hollow sliding bodies open at the bottom, which promotes the flow of the bulk material in the outer area, so that there is no compression as a result of pressure build-up. By leveling the flow behavior in the entire cross-sectional area, blockages of the outlet openings by bridging are avoided as well as caking on the bunker walls and the formation of dead zones.
The uniformity of the flow behavior can be further improved by introducing gas as a fluidizing agent into the cavities open at the bottom. The fluidization effect reduces the internal friction of the bulk particles.
The flow behavior is evened out both in cylindrical bulk containers with conical discharge funnels and internals, and in bulk containers with rectangular or square cross sections. The impairments which usually occur in rectangular or square containers in the region of the edge angles of the funnel walls and which can lead to flow delays or even to dead zones are not observed in the embodiment according to the invention.
The internals are expediently fixed in the outlet funnel by means of brackets. However, other fixations are also possible, for example via cable suspensions.
According to a further embodiment, the sliding body in the case of bulk goods containers with cross-flow can be configured on the gas outlet side without an outer side wall, in order to take into account the changed bulk material behavior compared to a bulk goods container through which flow flows from below.
According to another embodiment of the bulk material container according to the invention with a discharge funnel, the outer side walls can be designed to be displaceable on one or also on several sides of a square or rectangular container, for example with the aid of a movable wall, in order to control the bulk material behavior of different bulk materials by shortening or lengthening the outer side wall can.
According to a preferred embodiment, the distributor cone can form a roof-shaped distributor cross that is open at the bottom be expanded, in which the sliding body is integrated in order to achieve an even better fluidization of the bulk material.

In Figures 1 and 2, a
The
The
The bulk material is withdrawn from the
According to the geometry of the
Figure 5 shows a
In the case of
B. gemäß Figur 3).In order to determine the optimal length of the
Figure 8 shows a sliding
Die Länge des Behälters betrug rund 18 cm und die Breite war rund 12,5 cm.The dimensions of the model were as follows:
The total height was around 40 cm, of which the funnel height was 13 cm. The length of the container was around 18 cm and the width was around 12.5 cm.
The internals housed in the discharge funnel 2 (sliding
The
When the various bulk goods were withdrawn from the
No differences in the flow behavior of the various bulk goods could be observed.
The same flow behavior was also evident when air was added via the sliding
In a plexiglass model with a square cross section (FIGS. 9 and 10) and a side length of 100 cm, which was designed as a counterflow adsorber, the
