Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Spannen von Platten auf einen Formzylinder einer Rotationsdruckmaschine nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The present invention relates to a device for clamping plates on a forme cylinder of a rotary printing press according to the preamble of claim 1.
Eine gattungsgemäße Vorrichtung zum Spannen von Platten auf einen Formzylinder einer Rotationsdruckmaschine ist aus dem deutschen Patent DE 33 39 185 C2 bekannt. Bei dieser Vorrichtung weist der Formzylinder eine in Achsrichtung verlaufende symmetrische Zylindergrube auf, in der eine mit zwei Längsschlitzen zur Aufnahme eines Plattenendes versehene, um ihre Achse drehbare Spannspindel angeordnet ist. An einer der beiden Grubenwände ist eine Spannspindelstütze befestigt, um der Gefahr, daß sich die Spannspindel aufgrund ihrer Länge durchbiegt, entgegenzuwirken. Da der Formzylinder rechtsdrehend oder linksdrehend verwendet werden kann, ist die Spannspindelstütze entsprechend der vorgesehenen Drehrichtung des Formzylinders an der rechten oder an der linken Grubenwand angeordnet.A generic device for clamping plates on a forme cylinder of a rotary printing press is known from the German patent DE 33 39 185 C2. Fig. 1 zeigt ausschnittsweise einen Schnitt durch den Bereich eines Formzylinders 1, in dem eine Zylindergrube 2 ausgebildet ist. Die Zylindergrube 2 ist im wesentlichen aus einer zum Formzylinder 1 achsparallel angeordneten zylindrischen Bohrung 3 und zwei von der Oberfläche des Formzylinders ausgehend in Bezug auf die zylindrische Bohrung 3 tangential und zueinander symetrisch angeordnete Schlitze 4 und 5 zum Einführen von Druckplattenenden gebildet, wobei Wände 6 und 7 der Schlitze 4 und 5 zugleich Wände der Zylindergrube 2 sind. In der Zylindergrube 2 ist eine Spannspindel 8 drehbar gelagert. Die Spannspindel 8 weist zwei Spannuten 9 und 10 zur Aufnahme eines Plattenendes auf. Auf dem größeren der beiden durch die Spannuten 9 und 10 bestimmten Abschnitte der Umfangsoberfläche der Spannspindel 8 ist, in Umfangsrichtung gemessen, in gleichem Abstand von den Spannuten 9 und 10 ein Abstützelement 11 angeordnet. Das Abstützelement 11 ist vorzugsweise als Paßfeder ausgebildet, die mit einer Schraube 12 am Spannspindelkörper befestigt ist und die am Umfang mit der Spannspindel 8 geschliffen wird. Beim Aufspannen einer mit einem Spanndraht 14 versehenen Druckplatte 15 auf den Formzylinder 1 wird eine abgekantete Vorderkante 16 der Druckplatte 15 an der einen Oberkante der Zylindergrube 2 eingehängt. Eine den Spanndraht 14 aufweisende Hinterkante 17 der um den Formzylinder 1 herumgelegten Druckplatte 15 wird in die Zylindergrube 2 eingeführt. Dabei wird die Spannspindel 8 zunächst so eingestellt, daß eine der beiden Spannuten 9 oder 10 vor der Öffnung der Zylindergrube 2 steht. Dann wird die Spannspindel 8 so gedreht, daß die Hinterkante 17 in die Zylindergrube 2 hineingezogen wird. Fig. 1 zeigt die Spannspindel 8 mit gespannter Druckplatte 15 bei einem rechtsdrehenden Formzylinder 1. Die Vorderkante 16 der Druckplatte 15 ist an der linken Oberkante der Zylindergrube 2 eingehängt, und die Hinterkante 17 ist in der vom Abstützelement 11 aus gesehen rechten Spannut 9 eingehängt. Zum Spannen der Druckplatte 15 wird die Spannspindel 8 nach links gedreht. Dabei wird das Abstützelement 11 gegen die Grubenwand 7 gedreht und stützt so die Spannspindel 8 ab. Fig. 2 zeigt eine erfindungsgemäße Spannvorrichtung mit gespannter Druckplatte bei einem linksdrehenden Formzylinder 1. Die Spannvorrichtung nach Fig. 2 entspricht in allen Einzelheiten der anhand von Fig. 1 beschriebenen Spannvorrichtung. Deshalb wird hier auf eine erneute detaillierte Beschreibung der Elemente der Vorrichtung verzichtet. In Fig. 2 sind die den Elementen aus Fig. 1 entsprechenden Elemente mit gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen. Die in Fig. 2 dargestellte Spannvorrichtung unterscheidet sich von der in Fig. 1 dargestellten lediglich insoweit, als die Vorderkante 16 der Druckplatte 15 an der rechten Oberkante der Zylindergrube 2 eingehängt ist und als die Hinterkante 17 der Druckplatte 15 in die vom Abstützelement 11 aus gesehen linke Spannut 10 eingehängt ist. Die vorliegende Erfindung weist den Vorteil auf, eine mit einem Spanndraht 14 oder einer sonstigen Spannhilfe, wie z.B. einer Mehrzahl von Spannoppen, versehene Druckplatte 15 so auf den Formzylinder 1 aufspannen zu können, daß dieser wahlweise rechtsdrehend oder linksdrehend betrieben werden kann. Soll der Formzylinder 1 mit einer anschließend aufzuspannenden Druckplatte in entgegengesetzter Drehrichtung betrieben werden, so braucht die Spannspindel 8 beim Einspannen der Druckplatte 15 nur in die entsprechende Ausgangsstellung gebracht zu werden, ohne daß dabei Änderungen an der Spannvorrichtung, wie z.B. ein Auswechseln von Teilen und insbesondere ein Herauslösen und anschließendes Neubefestigen mit geänderter Anordnung eines Teils der Spannvorrichtung erforderlich sind. Weiterhin wird durch die erfindungsgemäße Spannvorrichtung vermieden, daß durch fehlerhaften Umbau des Abstützelements die Gefahr herausfallender Maschinenteile und die damit verbundene Gefahr einer Verletzung des Betriebspersonals bzw. einer Beschädigung der Druckmaschine besteht.The present invention has the advantage of being equipped with a
