Accumulator device for weaving machines, consisting of an accumulator drum (2), a winding tube (1), drive means (9) to make the winding tube (1) and the accumulator drum (2) turn in relation to one another, as well as a thread guide (3) which extends along the accumulator drum (2) and of which at least a part is formed of a tube (4) containing a longitudinal slit (5), characterized in that the accumulator device is provided with thread guide elements (29) which prevent that a weft thread (7) which has passed through the thread guide (3) leaves the tube (4) via the slit (5) when the thread is being pulled at at the outlet (16) of the accumulator device.
  2. Accumulator device according to claim 1, characterized in that the thread guide elements (29) have a lip-shaped end provided in the wall of the tube (4) at the height of the take-up side (25) of the accumulator drum (2) and the inner part (6) of the tube (4).
  3. Accumulator device according to any of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the thread guide elements (29) are realized according to the following configuration: the lower edge (31) of the slit (5) is situated at a greater radial distance from the accumulator drum (2) than the inside edge (32) of the tube (4) situated nearest to the accumulator drum (2).
  4. Accumulator device according to claim 1, characterized in that the thread guide elements (29) consist of a cutout in the wall of the tube (4), at the height of the take-up side (25) of the accumulator drum (2) and the interior part (6) of the tube (4).
  5. Accumulator device according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the lower edge (31) of the slit (5) is provided with a chamfer (36) at the inlet of the tube (4).
  6. Accumulator device according to any of the above claims, characterized in that it is provided with drive means (9) to make the winding tube (1) and the thread guide (3) move in relation to one another, as well as with a control unit (28) which controls these drive means (9) such that a weft thread (7) which is inserted in the above-mentioned tube (4) is pulled out of the tube (4) via the slit (5) as of the inlet of the tube (4) when the above-mentioned move is carried out.
  7. Method for threading an accumulator device for weaving machines of the type containing a drum (2), consisting of the following successive operations: the transport, of a weft thread (7) to be threaded, through a winding tube (1) and a thread guide (3) which extends along the accumulator drum (2), and of which at least a part consists of a tube (4) containing a longitudinal slit (5), characterized in that the weft thread (7) is guided through a tube (4) as well as along thread guide elements (29) which prevent said weft thread (7) from leaving the tube (4) via the slit (5) when this weft thread (7) is being pulled at at the outlet (16) of the accumulator device; and, at a given moment, the moving of the winding tube (1) and the thread guide (3) in relation to one another, such that the weft thread (7) is pulled from the tube (4) via the slit (5) as of the inlet of this tube (4) and is applied onto the accumulator drum (2).
