Description

The invention relates to a partition for dividing rooms, which is formed from one or more composite wall elements, the filling of each wall element is comprised of vertical profile bars and horizontal profile bars connected to them, and the wall elements between vertical profile bars attached to the walls of the room and to the ceiling and Floor-fixed holding rails are set, the wall elements being connected to one another by fastening elements, and the adjacent vertical profile bars of the wall elements being arranged at a short distance from one another.

Known partitions of the aforementioned type are firmly connected to their frames for the filler-forming profile bars with the walls or the ceiling and the floor of the room. To do this, the framework must first be created and then the fillings inserted in the frame compartments and fixed to them with retaining strips. Such dividing walls dividing rooms can hardly be used, however, if a different separation of parts of the room than the one previously created is desired. Changes in the room layout therefore require either new or at least modified wall elements. The reuse of such known wall elements is associated with a relatively large and costly outlay.

Partitions are known from CA-A 1 216 126, the wall elements of which have a frame made of profiled bars, on which filler panels are glued on both sides. These wall elements are placed between holding rails fixed on the ceiling and floor and connected to one another at their vertical edges via connecting strips. This requires precisely defined distances between the vertical edges of the wall elements, which must be constant. This means that relining or screwing adjustments in the floor area are required to align the wall elements during assembly. In order to be able to use the wall elements for holding between the ceiling-fixed holding rails, it is necessary in this known solution to arrange the wall elements on their underside with free space to the upper edge of the floor-fixed holding rail. For this reason, cover strips that can be clipped onto the mounting rails are used. The assembly and disassembly of such partitions is complex and difficult, so that changes in the arrangement of the partitions are possible only with considerable effort.

This also applies to the previously known solution according to FR-A 2 296 066, in which the top of the wall elements rests on the underside of the fixed rail, so that the bottom rail must be removed for dismantling a wall element. In addition, adjacent wall elements to be joined together must be arranged at a defined distance from one another, since an exact contact of the cover strips in the vertical joint between the wall elements is required.

The object of the present invention is to provide partition walls which can be assembled, disassembled and reused from wall elements, if necessary in a grid-like manner without an exact vertical alignment of their edge regions and without any special connection effort.

This object is achieved with the features mentioned in the characterizing part of patent claim 1. This makes it possible to arrange several wall elements of a certain size next to one another and to connect them to one another in a simple manner, individual wall elements being interchangeable at any time, for example to create passages or to regroup. In addition, the wall elements can be manufactured according to a predetermined grid, so that, on the one hand, the wall elements can be reused when the partition walls are moved (mobility) and, depending on the dimensions, an adapted, additional wall element, in principle the same construction, is required. The assembly of such partitions is very simple, since the wall elements are fixed to one another by clip strips. These clip strips advantageously have an approximately T-shaped cross section, the web of the one clip strip which extends between the vertical profile bars having a bead head which engages in a snap-in receptacle on the web of the other clip strip.

In order to avoid projections formed by the legs of the clip strips in the area of the adjoining vertical profile bars, these are vertical profile bars formed on their mutually facing sides by recesses narrower than on their sides receiving the fillings, the recesses of two adjacent vertical profile bars on their visible sides forming a groove approximately filled by the leg of a clip strip. The two vertical profile bars are connected to one another in their upper and lower regions by horizontal profile bars, these horizontal profile bars being supported in the assembled state on holding rails which are fixed on the one hand on the ceiling and on the other hand on the floor. The horizontal profile bars have receiving grooves for the fillings formed by wall projections and are butted between the vertical profile bars and firmly connected to them.

To accommodate the fillings, the vertical profile bars can also be provided with integrally projecting wall parts to form an outwardly open groove, but for optical reasons it is advantageous if the vertical profile bars, which have an approximately rectangular, tubular cross section, have inwardly projecting grooves for receiving the fillings. The horizontal profile bars both in the upper and in the lower area of the wall elements advantageously have a U-shaped cross section open to the outside.

The invention is shown in an embodiment on the drawing and is explained in more detail below. Show it:
Fig. 1

The partition shown in FIG. 1 comprises, for example, 4 wall elements 10. Each wall element consists of a filling 11 and vertical profile bars 12 and 13 enclosing them on their vertical edges, which together with horizontal profile bars 14 and 15 comprising the horizontal sides of the fillings 11 form a frame, for example by screwing are firmly connected. To hold the wall elements 10 on the floor 16 and on the ceiling 17 of the room, holding rails 18 and 19 are provided, which are fixed on the ceiling 17 and on the floor 16, for example, by screwing. The ceiling-fixed holding rail 18 has a downwardly open U-shaped cross section, into which the top of the wall element 10, ie its horizontal profile bar 14 can be inserted, the free space in the U-shaped holding rail 18 being so large that the wall element 10 is so far can be lifted until its lower horizontal profile bar 15 can be plugged onto a board-like strip 20 arranged in the bottom holding rail 19, as a result of which the wall element 10 reaches the lowered position shown in FIG. 3. The upper horizontal profile bar 14 of each wall element 10 has a U-shape which is open at the top, and is optionally held with the interposition of sealing elements 21 between the side legs of the holding rail 18. On its side facing the filling 11, the holding profile rod 14 is provided with slightly more than the filling thickness corresponding distance from each other arranged wall projections 22 which form a receiving groove 23 for the filling 11. The vertical profile rod has on its side opposite this receiving groove 23 14 has a screw groove 24, with the aid of which the horizontal profile bar 14, which is butted between the vertical profile bars 12 and 13, can be screwed to the vertical profile bars. In the illustrated embodiment, the width of the horizontal profile bar 14 corresponds approximately to the inside width of the retaining strip 18 and essentially corresponds to the width of the vertical profile bars 12 and 13.

The lower horizontal profile bar 15 also has, on its side facing the filling 11, a wall protrusion 22 forming a receiving groove 23 and is also provided on its side opposite this receiving groove with a screw groove 24, by means of which this horizontal profile bar 15 is also butted between the vertical profile bars 12 and 13 the vertical profile bars can be screwed, for example. The U-shaped horizontal profile bar 15, which is open toward the bottom 16, has a smaller width in the exemplary embodiment shown than the vertical profile bars 12 and 13 and leaves such a cavity that it may also be connected to the above-mentioned holding rail 19 with the interposition of sealing elements 21 associated bar 20 can be plugged approximately closing. To hold the bar 20, it is sufficient to bend the floor-fixed, U-shaped holding rail 19 with its legs inwards, so that the holding rail 19 has only a small height, and the bar 20 fits between its quarter-circle bent legs. The vertical profile bars 12 and 13 extending from the lower edge of the lower horizontal profile bar 15 to the upper edge of the upper horizontal profile bar 14 have an approximately rectangular, tubular cross section and are on their side facing the filling 11 with a groove 25 projecting into the vertical profile bar for receiving the Fill 11 provided. The broad side of the groove 25 opposite each vertical profile bar 12 or 13 is narrower than the wide side facing the filling 11, in such a way that recesses 26 are formed on the narrow sides of the vertical profile bars 12 and 13. At the location of the partition receiving the wall, vertical profile bars 12 and 13 are also fastened to the walls of the room, for example by a screw connection, not shown, in a known manner in the region of the floor and ceiling-fixed holding rails 18 and 19.

To form a dividing wall, a plurality of wall elements 10 arranged next to one another with a small spacing between the profiled bars 12 and 13 are now held on the holding rails 18 and 19 in the manner mentioned above. To fix the wall elements 10 to one another, clip strips 27 and 28 are provided, which for optical reasons run from the lower edge of the vertical profile bars 12 and 13 to the lower edge of the upper, ceiling-fixed holding rail 18. These clip strips 27 and 28 have an approximately T-shaped cross section, and engage with their webs 29 and 30 between the vertical profile bars 12 and 13. The web 29 of the clip strip 28 has at its free end a bead head 31 which is in one of two Tongue-formed locking receptacle 32 of the web 30 engages on the clip strip 27. The leg 33 of the clip strip 27 and also the leg 34 of the clip strip 28 overlap regions on both sides of the narrow sides of two adjacent vertical profile bars 12 and 13 in the groove formed by the recesses 26, so that the clip bars 27 and 28 over the maximum width of the vertical profile bars 12 and 13 do not protrude.

As already mentioned, the prescribed embodiment gives the subject matter of the invention only by way of example again, which is by no means limited to this. Rather, various changes and other configurations of the invention are conceivable. For example, the groove 25 in the vertical profile bars 12 and 13 could also be formed by legs projecting from these. It would also be possible to form a latch 31 and 32 other than that shown in FIG. 2 and described above, or even to produce a screw connection between the clip strips 27 and 28. It is also understood that the fillings 11 made of various materials such as wood and wood-related materials, glass, plastic, metal or the like. could exist. All new features mentioned in the description and / or shown in the drawing are essential to the invention, even if they are not expressly claimed in the claims.
