Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a semifinished product for the fabrication of a blossom-like rosette. Such blossom-like rosettes cannot be fabricated using known strip-type semifinished products which have a pulling member. Only loops are formed which have to be worked by hand in a complicated manner if required. A method is therefore to be proposed which employs simple means for fabricating a suitable semifinished product, with which blossom-like rosettes can be produced very simply. This is achieved in that a strip (1-13) of any desired suitably flexible material is produced in any desired manner which is provided at least in the direction of its longitudinal extension with at least one straight flexible pulling member (14-28) which is not covered by the flexible strip (1-13) in some portions of its longitudinal extension, at least one longitudinal edge of the finished strip being produced with a non-straight contour (31), and, furthermore, the free portions (30) on the pulling member (1-29) being dimensioned in terms of their length such that a desired folding size results. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a method for producing a semi-finished product for producing a flower-like rosette.

Ein Verfahren gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 ist aus der EP-A-0 208 804 bekanntA method according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from EP-A-0 208 804

With this document, a semi-finished product for the production of packaging has become known, with which rosette-like structures can also be produced under certain conditions (FIG. 6). Such structures are decorative, but not very flower-like. Your primary task also lies in the decorative packaging of individual items. A flower-like education is not in the foreground.

Such a semi-finished product has become known with Swiss Patent No. 370028, with which rosettes can be formed from loops in a simple manner. To form such a rosette, the semifinished product formed as a band with parallel edges must be pushed firmly onto one another on one or two traction elements. The rosette character is lost if the ribbon is not pushed firmly onto one another and knotted in this position. A decorative rosette is created, which, however, is not similar to flowers.

With DE-OS 35 05 549 a double belt has become known, the two single belts of which are placed one above the other at the same points at the same longitudinal distance and have notches one above the other. Between the two belts there are two traction elements and the notches are surrounded by holding elements. By pushing together on the tension elements, flower-like rosettes can be created, because when pushed together, four individual loops are always formed in a cruciform arrangement with a common center. Such a band as a semi-finished product to form the flower-like rosettes is very expensive to manufacture. In addition, it is difficult to arrange a single layer of four in a cross shape Separate loops and keep enough tension element to fix this rosette by knotting the tension element. However, if several layers of these loops are formed one below the other, the flower-like character is lost again.

The invention is therefore based on the object of proposing a method of the type described at the outset for producing a semi-finished product for producing a flower-like rosette, which leads to a semi-finished product which is simple and inexpensive to produce and which makes the production of a flower-like rosette in a very simple manner and from a wide variety of materials allowed.

This object is achieved in that a band is made of any suitable, flexible material in any way, which is provided at least in the direction of its longitudinal course with at least one straight, flexible tension member, which is not covered in sections by the flexible band in its longitudinal course , wherein at least one longitudinal edge of the finished tape is produced in a non-rectilinear contour and wherein the free sections on the tension member are dimensioned in length so that a desired folding size results.

The production of tapes with, for example, straight, parallel outer edges is known. Such tapes can be made, for example, from woven, rustled or non-woven material, but also from plastic films or paper webs. Such tapes need only be sufficiently flexible for the intended purposes. Such a band made of any, but sufficiently flexible material must now be provided in the direction of its longitudinal course with at least one straight traction element, which traction element must not be completely covered by a continuous loop or by the material of the band, but rather in the manner of a thread in textile processing must remain uncovered in places from the tape so that the tape can detach from the tension member and form folds or loops when pushed along the incorporated tension member in these areas. With a simple smooth tape This can be achieved, for example, in that the traction element runs at equal or unequal intervals, sometimes on one side and sometimes on the other side of the band, the change from one side of the band to the other simply being achieved by the traction element penetrating the band material and is thereby also held by the tape material. This tension member guide is possible for all strip materials.
The non-rectilinear contour of a longitudinal edge ensures that when the band is pushed together on the tension member, this non-rectilinear outer contour assumes a petal-like shape, if at the same time the free sections on the tension member are dimensioned in such a way that the shape of the non-rectilinear contour results in an assigned folding size. If the act is now loosely pushed together on the flexible traction element, the two ends of the traction element can then be brought together and knotted together, so that an approximately circular flower center is formed, which significantly enhances the flower-like appearance.

Numerous variations for changing the appearance of the flower are possible. However, the semi-finished product can always be produced endlessly and must be divided into suitably long sections to produce a flower-like rosette. For this purpose, such sections can already be marked or pre-embossed in the semifinished product, so that the corresponding sections can simply be torn off. It is also useful to lightly attach the traction element to the belt, for example at the end of such a section, so that, after separation, it is possible to simply slide the respective section open to form the flower-like rosette. It is then no longer necessary to link a page to prevent the pulling element from being pulled out.

In order to produce other flower shapes, it is possible to form both band sides in a non-linear contour, preferably in a wave contour, arch contour or arcade contour. Here, the arc sizes or the wavelengths and wave heights can be quite different over the longitudinal extent, which makes it possible, for example, smaller To produce inner leaves and larger outer leaves of such a flower.

It can also be useful to provide reinforced areas along the belt, for example along the tension member. These reinforced areas can extend continuously over the entire length or only over certain sections of the length. As a result, the crimping or folding behavior of the tape is influenced during the sliding on the tension member. The type of influence depends on the design of the reinforced band area with regard to the rigidity of the arrangement and the width and length. Simple experiments make it possible to determine the type of formation of these reinforced areas in order to achieve a desired effect.

The traction element can be arranged at a wide variety of locations in the direction of the width of the band. Reinforced areas can be provided both on one side and on both sides of the tension member. When contouring both long sides of the tape, which can be done by a continuous punching or cutting process using appropriate punching rollers or cutting rollers, it can be advantageous to arrange the traction element exactly in the middle of the tape and then fold the tape and perform the contouring after the folding process , which can then be done with a single cut for both long sides. However, it can also be advantageous with such a folded band not to provide the traction member in the folding edge but directly next to the folding edge on one half of the band and, if necessary, also to provide a reinforcement strip next to the folding edge in the other longitudinal half of the band. This creates particularly lush and decorative flower bodies when the ribbon is pushed together on the traction element.

The traction element itself can be incorporated into the textile structures of the belt at the same time as the belt is being manufactured. However, it can also be sewn or sewn on later. Subsequent application is advantageous if the tape is made of plastic film or paper, for example. The traction element can then be guided over attached loops, but in their width and in their spacing each other must be dimensioned so that a desired folding size results. However, the band itself can also be toothed along a longitudinal edge with rectangular teeth that protrude laterally in the form of tongues, these tongues each having a suitably large distance between them. These tongues can then be guided around an inserted tension element and with their free end in turn on the belt , for example by an adhesive process or by a sewing process or by other suitable measures. The longitudinal distance between the individual tongues then again ensures, with appropriate dimensioning, that a desired folding size results. This folding size can of course be influenced by the free distance mentioned, but also by the width of the tongues themselves. A variation in the folding sizes can be ensured by varying the width of the distance and the tongues, so that blooming from the inside out is buildable.

To simplify the manufacture of the band, it is also possible to provide a single band with a tension member on its two longitudinal edges. This band then only has to be separated in the area between the two traction elements with a non-linear contour, whereby two suitable bands are produced, each of which has a straight edge and a non-straight edge. The same method can also be used to produce two strips, the two longitudinal edges of which have a non-rectilinear contour. For this purpose, the tape only has to be shaped as a tube, which is then laid flat and severed on the flat surfaces between the two folded edges that are created. In this embodiment, it is possible to arrange a traction element both in the folding edge itself and also directly next to the folding edge, so that after cutting, two strips are formed, the two long sides of which do not run in a straight line and in which the traction element is arranged in the center or off-center. In the case of the eccentric arrangement, a reinforcement strip can also be provided on the other side. In the case of a central arrangement, the reinforcement strip can also be provided on both sides of the tension member. Of course, this can Reinforcement strips are both originally incorporated and subsequently applied.

In order to form flowers with, for example, a container arranged thereon for receiving a single object or a plurality of individual objects, it is also possible to connect a flat strip along a straight longitudinal edge to a tubular band, for example in one piece. The second longitudinal edge of the flat strip can then be shaped again in the non-linear contour. A pulling element can be provided exactly in the connection area between the flat band and the tubular band, but also in each case next to it in the area of the flat band or the tubular band. Corresponding arrangements can of course also take reinforcement strips.
It is also conceivable to arrange such a tubular band on both sides of the straight longitudinal edge of a flat band. The flat strip can then be separated in a non-rectilinear contour in the area between its straight side edges, so that in turn two such strips are created simultaneously.

A particularly lush and multi-layered flowering results when several flat strips are put together along a common longitudinal edge. A traction element can then be arranged in this area, while the free longitudinal edges are produced in a non-linear contour. Here, the non-rectilinear contour can always be created subsequently by a punching or cutting process. However, it can also be generated directly during the production of the tape.

The production of such strips is particularly economical if, in the case of a sufficiently wide flat strip, the flat strip is provided with such a tension member both along its straight longitudinal outer edges and in the middle. This tape can now be folded with the central tension member as a folded edge, whereupon this tape is cut through in the region between the folded edge and the two straight outer edges with a non-straight cut edge. In this way, three tapes are produced at the same time. In In the embodiment just described, the middle traction element can of course also be supplemented on one side or on both sides with reinforcement strips. It is also conceivable to arrange this traction element not exactly in the middle, but briefly to the side next to the center and to provide reinforcement strips on the other side next to the center, which forms the folded edge.

If another traction element is introduced, which extends not only in the longitudinal direction, but in the area of the arches or arcades in the direction of the highest point of such an arch and back again, it is possible with this traction element to retract the petals a little more, which means that the individual petals get an even more real look.

A particularly simple band as a semi-finished product is obtained when a tubular band is provided with at least one pulling element in the longitudinal direction and then cut transversely in the longitudinal direction at regular or irregular intervals, the depth of the cut not being allowed to go to the pulling element. In all cases, so here too, the tension member must be guided as described in the introduction, so that free areas remain for the formation of folds. The resulting loop structure in the last described embodiment can be left in its type, but it is also possible to separate the individual loops at their highest point afterwards or before pushing them together.

The invention will now be explained in more detail on the basis of various exemplary embodiments which are illustrated in the drawings. For this purpose, FIGS. 1 to 14 show different design options.

Figure 1 shows a longitudinal section through a flat strip of any sufficiently flexible material. This can be textile fabric, but also plastic film or paper. Only a section in the longitudinal direction of the entire volume is shown.

Figure 2 shows a section along the line I-I of Figure 1, so that it can be seen that it is a flat ribbon. In the vicinity of its straight longitudinal edge 39, this flat strip 1 is equipped with a traction element 14 which runs alternately on the top and on the underside of the strip 1. The change from the top to the bottom is done simply by the tension member 14 penetrating the band 1 in the appropriate direction. This arrangement of the tension band 14 alternately leaves free sections 30 on the top and on the bottom, in which the band 1 can arch or fold when it is pushed together on the tension member 14. However, these distances 30 can also have different lengths in the longitudinal direction on the upper side and the lower side.

The second unspecified longitudinal edge 39, which runs parallel to the first longitudinal edge 39, is contoured so that a non-rectilinear contour 31 is created there. The hatched area is waste when the non-rectilinear contour 31 is subsequently created by a cutting or punching process. However, the creation of the hatched area can be completely avoided, for example in the case of textile fabric, by appropriately contoured production.
The width of the band as well as the curvature size and arc depth of the non-rectilinear contour 31 depend on the desired shape of the flower-like rosette to be produced. The dimensions mentioned are determined by the flower size and the desired leaf shape of the flower. Here, the distances 30 must be dimensioned such that a desired curvature of the leaf can arise. For this purpose, it will generally be necessary to change the distances 30 over the curvature of the non-rectilinear contour 31 in such a way that the distances 30 are smaller in the vicinity of the arc low point, at which the distance between the arc low point and the traction element 14 is smallest to be let and to get bigger again in the opposite direction.

Die Figur 3 zeigt ein Flachband in ganz ähnlicher Ausführung wie die Figur 1.FIG. 3 shows a flat strip in a design very similar to that of FIG. 1.

The band according to FIG. 3 differs from the band according to FIG. 1 in that the band according to FIG. 3 has a pulling element 15 or two along both longitudinal edges 40 and 41. 16 has. Such a band 2 according to FIG. 3 can now be separated again in the area between the two tension members 15 and 16 with a non-rectilinear contour 31, so that two tension bands according to FIG. 1 are created. The tension band arrangement and the tension band course are then as already described for FIG. 1.

Das schlauchförmige Band 3.2 kann bei Bedarf auch ein weiteres Zugorgan 17 in Längsrichtung verlaufend aufweisen, das beispielsweise dem Zugorgan 18 diametral gegenüberliegend angeordnet ist, wobei diese Anordnung jedoch nicht zwingend ist.FIG. 5 shows a band variant 3 in which a flat band 3.1, for example in the embodiment of band 1 according to FIG. 1, is connected along its straight longitudinal edge 62 to a tubular band 3.2. A traction element 18 can now be provided in the immediate vicinity of the longitudinal edge 62, as indicated in FIG. 5. Again, it should be pointed out that the traction element 18 should be arranged in the same way as the drawstrings 14, 15 16, so that the necessary spacing for folding again arises. If necessary, the tubular band 3.2 can also have a further traction element 17 running in the longitudinal direction, which is arranged diametrically opposite the traction element 18, but this arrangement is not mandatory.

The free longitudinal edge of the flat band 3.1 can again be formed in a non-rectilinear contour 31. However, it is also conceivable to arrange a further tubular band on this free longitudinal edge, which is indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 5. Corresponding to the traction elements 18 and 17, this further tubular band can then have traction elements 19 and 20, and it would then be possible to separate the flat band 3.1 in the area between the two traction elements 18 and 19 in the same way as for the flat band 2 according to FIG. 4 has been described, so that two identical bands are created afterwards. In this embodiment, the tubular bands 3.2 can serve as containers for a smaller individual part or several small individual parts. The container is then simultaneously equipped with a flower-like rosette after being pushed together along the pulling member 18 and its corresponding connection. A special closure of the container formed from the tubular band 3.2 on both of them Open ends are usually not required, but can be done in any way.

Figure 6 shows a band 4 in a tubular design. This tubular band 4 is flattened, so that folded edges 64 are formed. A pulling member 21 or 22 can be provided in the vicinity of the folded edges each on a strip half 35 or in the folded edges themselves. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 6, the traction elements mentioned are each provided next to the folded edges 64. Here, too, the traction elements are again arranged in the manner already described for FIGS. 1 and 3.
The band 4 according to FIG. 6 can now be separated in its two halves with a single cutting process or punching process in a non-rectilinear contour 32. This creates two identical bands, the two long sides of which have a non-linear contour.
Of course, it is also possible to treat a band 3 in the embodiment according to FIG. 5 in such a way that the tubular band part 3.2 attached there is separated in the same way as has just been described for band 4 according to FIG. A multiple band then arises, as will be described in connection with FIG. 7, and an additional band remains, the two longitudinal edges of which are cut in a non-rectilinear form.

Abfall wird völlig vermieden.FIG. 7 shows a band which is composed of several individual flat bands 5, 6 and 7. The tapes 5, 6 and 7 are placed together so that they have a common longitudinal edge 55. In the area of the common longitudinal edge 55, in turn, a tension member 23 can be provided in the arrangement already described several times. The flat strips here have free straight longitudinal edges 56, 57 and 58. The non-rectilinear contour 31 can in turn be cut or punched into these flat strips, so that the hatched parts are again eliminated. This drop can, however, be prevented if the flat strips 5, 6 and 7 or at least one of these flat strips is designed in such a way that an outer longitudinal edge 59 is present, as shown in broken lines in FIG. 7, and further in the area of this outer longitudinal edge 59 Zugorgan 60 in the is already provided several times. If a cut is then made along the line 31 to produce the corresponding non-rectilinear contour, a further band in the form according to FIG. 1 remains in each case on the outside. Waste is completely avoided.

A flat strip 8 according to FIG. 8 has a strip center 33 and on one side along the strip center 33 a tension member 24 in the arrangement already described and on the other side of the strip center 33 a reinforcement strip 37. Of course, this reinforcement strip 37 can also be provided only in sections. The tape 8 is folded to produce the semifinished product around the tape center 33 so that the tape half 34 comes to rest on the other tape half 36. In this arrangement, the non-rectilinear contour 32 is then cut or punched, so that the hatched areas are again generated as waste. This waste can, however, be avoided by changing the production, as has already been described for FIG. 7 and is still described for FIG. 13. FIG. 13 shows an embodiment very similar to FIG. 8, but in which the band 12 has a pulling element 28 arranged exactly in the middle. Instead of the reinforcement strip 37, reinforced band areas 38 are provided there. However, these can be replaced by the reinforcement strip 37.

The band 12 is folded around the tension member 28 and the non-rectilinear contour 32 is then in turn produced by a cutting or punching process or in another suitable manner, so that a band 12 is formed, the two long sides of which have the non-rectilinear contour 32. The hatched areas are then waste. This drop can, however, be avoided if tension members 50 and 51 are used in the manner already described in the region of the two parallel straight longitudinal edges 48 and 49, which are shown in broken lines in FIG. The traction elements 50 and 51 are only indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. After the separating cut for producing the non-rectilinear contour 32 has been carried out, the independent individual bands 52 and 54 are formed on the sides and the independent individual band 53 in the middle, the individual bands 52 and 54 having a non-rectilinear contour on only one side, during that Single band 53 has a non-rectilinear contour 32 on both sides. Different bands can thus be produced with great economy for producing a flower-like rosette.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 13, not the entire band 12 is shown, but rather only a specific band section of a suitable length. At the end of this band section, the traction element 28 is fastened in the region 65 to the band 53, so that the band 53 can simply be pushed along the traction element 28 from the opposite side without fear that the traction element is simply pulled out. A one-sided knotting of the tension member 28 can be completely eliminated.

Here, too, a traction element 25 is again drawn in along the straight edge, just as the traction element 14 is drawn in in band 1 in FIG. 1. In the band 9 according to FIG. 9, however, a further traction element 63 is provided, which is arranged in places in the vicinity and parallel to the traction element 25. It can be guided alternately on the top and the bottom of the belt 9 in the same way as the tension member 25. In the area of the arches 66 according to FIG. 9, however, the traction element 63 is led up to the upper arch crests and back again. This makes it possible to draw in the petals that are created and formed by the arches with the flower formation or later, so that a natural uneven petal shape is created.

Bei dieser Anordnung wirken die Zungen 44 gleichzeitig als Verstärkungsstreifen.FIGS. 10, 11 and 12 show further variants of suitable bands, FIG. 11 showing a view in the direction of arrow A according to FIG. 10. FIG. 10 shows a band 10 which is designed as a simple flat band. For the sake of simplicity, the non-rectilinear contour 31 has been completely omitted because only the arrangement of a pulling element 26 is to be described with reference to FIG. To accommodate the pulling element 26, the band 10 has, along a longitudinal edge 43, rectangular, outwardly projecting tongues 44 which have a width 47 and are at a distance 45 from the next Tongue 44 are arranged continuously. The distances 45 and the widths 47 do not have to be the same, but can be larger or smaller depending on the desired sheet shape and thus on the desired folding distance or arching distance. The pulling element 26 can now be placed on the foot of the tongues 44, whereupon the tongues 44 are placed around the pulling element 26 and fastened to the band 10 with the respective free ends 46. The attachment can be arbitrary, for example by sewing. This creates loop-like structures that accommodate the tension member 26. In this arrangement the tongues 44 also act as reinforcing strips.

Die Abstände zwischen zwei aufeinander folgenden Schlaufen 67 sowie die Breite der Schlaufen 67 selbst, kann auch wieder unterschiedlich sein, wie dies ebenfalls bereits weiter oben beschrieben wurde.FIG. 12 also shows a perspective view of a piece of a band 11, the two longitudinal edges 42 of which run parallel to one another are shown to run straight for the sake of simplicity. Such a tape 11 according to FIG. 12 could, for example, also consist of plastic film or paper. Parallel to one of the longitudinal edges or in the middle, depending on the desired design, a tension member 27 is placed on an upper side of the band 11 and held over loops 67. The loops 67 can in any way e.g. can be attached to the band 11 by sewing. However, these loops 67 can also be incorporated into the band 11, in particular when it is woven or knitted. The width of the loops 67 and the width of the distances remaining between the successive loops again depend on the desired folding size, as already described at the beginning. The distances between two successive loops 67 and the width of the loops 67 themselves can also be different, as was also described above.

Nach dem Zusammenschnüren der beiden Enden des Zugorgans 29 entsteht auf diese Art eine mehrschichtige Blüte mit gut geformten Blütenblättern.FIG. 14 shows a tubular band 13, which in the longitudinal direction likewise has at least one pulling element 29, which is alternately guided on the inside and on the outside of the tubular band 13, that is to say through the wall of this band 13, as already shown for example in FIGS Figures 1 and 2 has been described. The tubular band 13 has a plurality of radial incisions 68, which are arranged one behind the other at intervals. The radial cuts 68 are not quite up to Tension band 29 guided downwards so that when the band 13 is pushed together on the tension member 29 and the tension member is connected in a circle to connect the two ends, these radial incisions 68 open and thereby form loops arranged in a circle. If necessary, these loops can also be cut open at their highest points, which lie opposite the traction element 29, to form individual sheets. It is also favorable to make the radial incisions obliquely or curved according to the line course 69. The line course 69 continues on the other, not visible side of the band 1 3 in the opposite direction, so that after the incisions along the lines 69 residual pieces 70 are formed that fall out. In this way, a good shape of petals can be produced if these loops are then cut apart at their tips. After the two ends of the pulling member 29 have been tied together, a multilayered flower with well-shaped petals is produced in this way.

The traction elements used are shown exaggeratedly thick in the illustrations. The thickness of the strips themselves is not indicated in most of the representations (exceptions are FIGS. 11 and 12).

The tapes according to all the exemplary embodiments can be colored differently over their length or in individual sections or in limited surface areas or can be produced in different colors. Coloring can also take place after the end product has been produced on the end product. The traction elements used can be formed from any flexible materials, for example also from yarn or correspondingly flexible and thin metal wire.
