Claims (4)

  1. Vorrichtung zum Stranggießen von dünnen metallischen Produkten zwischen sich drehenden gekühlten Rollen (1, 1'), mit einem mit den Rollen (1, 1') zusammenwirkenden Gießaufsatz (2) und mit kleinen Flächen (11), um einen Gießraum zu bilden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Längswände (3, 3') des Gießaufsatzes (2), welche die Rollen (1, 1') berühren, aus einem feuerfesten Material mit erhöhten thermoisolierenden Eigenschaften bestehen, und daß die Vorderwände (4, 4') des Gießaufsatzes (2), welche die kleinen Flächen (11) berühren, aus einem feuerfesten Material mit erhöhter mechanischer Widerstandsfähigkeit bestehen.
  2. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie eine Zufuhrdüse (6) für das flüssige Metall aufweist, welche mit zwei seitlichen Auslässen (7, 7') versehen ist, deren jeder in Richtung einer der Vorderwände (4, 4') des Gießaufsatzes gerichtet ist.
  3. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das die Längswände (3, 3') des Gießaufsatzes bildende feuerfeste Material eine thermische Leitfähigkeit aufweist, welche kleiner ist als 0,5 W/m.K bei 1000°C.
  4. Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das die Vorderwände (4, 4') des Gießaufsatzes bildende feuerfeste Material eine scheinbare Rohdichte aufweist von mehr als 1,5 kg/dm³.
