Claims (11)

  1. Lingotière de coulée continue pour la coulée continue verticale de métaux, notamment pour la coulée en bandes de cuivre et d'alliages de cuivre, dans laquelle un insert de lingotière (1) a côtés étroits (4) non refroidis, qui présente une ouverture de coulée (5) de section transversale rectangulaire, est équipé d'un dispositif de refroidissement extérieur (2) exclusivement sur les côtés de grande largeur (3), caractérisée en ce que l'insert de lingotière (1) de la lingotière constituée de manière indépendante du four consiste en matériaux métalliques et en ce que le dispositif de refroidissement (2) s'étend, à partir du bord inférieur UK de la lingotière, jusqu'à environ 55 à 75% de la hauteur des côtés de grande largeur (3).
  2. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le dispositif de refroidissement (2) s'étend environ sur les deux tiers inférieurs de la hauteur des côtés de grande largeur (3).
  3. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que, à chaque côté de grande largeur (3) de l'insert de lingotière (1), est associé un système de refroidissement à deux canaux (6, 7).
  4. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 3, caractérisée en ce que, pour chaque système de refroidissement, un canal d'alimentation inférieur (6) s'étendant horizontalement et destiné au liquide de refroidissement est en communication avec un canal d'évacuation (7) supérieur s'étendant également horizontalement, par l'intermédiaire de perçages (8, 10) dirigés vers l'insert de lingotière (1) et réalisés dans les parois de canal (6', 7') et par l'intermédiaire de canaux verticaux de refroidissement (9) dans la paroi extérieure du côté de grande largeur (3) de l'insert de lingotière (1).
  5. Lingotière de coulée continue selon l'une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisée en ce que l'insert de lingotière (1) est constitué de deux plaques (3) formant les côtés de grande largeur et de deux plaques (4) formant les côtés étroits.
  6. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 5, caractérisée en ce que, dans la paroi extérieure de chaque côté de grande largeur (3) de l'insert de lingotière (1), est disposée une fente de séparation horizontale (11) qui sépare partiellement la zone supérieure B non refroidie de la zone inférieure BK refroidie.
  7. Lingotière de coulée continue selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que, dans la fente de séparation horizontale (11), est emmanchée une barre en un matériau non métallique à faible conductibilité thermique et à coefficient de dilatation relativement élevé.
  8. Lingotière de coulée continue selon une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisée en ce que l'insert de lingotière (1) est constitué de deux moules en forme de "L".
  9. Lingotière de coulée continue selon une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisée en ce qu'en aval de la lingotière, dans la direction d'extraction de la barre (12), est disposé un système de refroidissement secondaire (15) comportant des buses à jet plat (16).
  10. Procédé pour la coulée de bandes par la mise en oeuvre d'une lingotière de coulée continue selon une ou plusieurs des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce que le niveau de coulée (14) est maintenu pendant la coulée sensiblement à l'intérieur du tiers supérieur, non refroidi, de la lingotière.
  11. Procédé selon la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que le niveau de coulée (14) est maintenu à une hauteur située à environ 20 - 50 mm sous le bord supérieur OK de la lingotière.
