In besonders zweckmäßiger A usgestaltung sind in diesem Zusammenhang im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel die Innenwände der Rastlöcher 12 im Klemmengehäuse 1 metallisiert und ausgehend von diesen, und zwar in elektrisch leitendem Übergang dazu, schmalere nach außen führende metallisierte Verbindungsstreifen 19, die elektrisch leitend ebenfalls in die Metallisierung der schmalen Frontseite 4 und der schmalen Rückseite 5 übergehen. An der Abschirmplatte 10 sind in entsprechender Weise die beiden Rastzapfen 11 metallisiert und von diesen ausgehend und in elektrischer Verbindung damit schmale Metallisierungsstreifen 20 in entsprechender Lage zu den Metallisierungsstreifen 19, wobei die Verbindungsstreifen 20 ebenfalls ihrerseits metallisch leitend in die angrenzenden schmalen Seiten der Abschirmplatte 10 übergehen. Claims (4)

  1. An electrically shielded modular terminal assembly with modular terminal blocks which have a housing (1) of electrically insulating plastics material, in the narrow sides (4, 5, 7) of which are respectively provided access openings (6, 8) for actuation of the internal conductor connecting terminals (2) and for insertion of electrical conductors (17) to be connected, and with connections to a ground or earth potential, characterised in that the modular terminal blocks of the assembly are closed on their mounting side by a closure plate (10) of electrically insulating plastics material, and the outer side surfaces (13) of the terminal housing (1) and the outer narrow front, back and top sides (4, 5, 7) of the terminal housing (1) are metallised, leaving free the inside surfaces of the access openings (6, 8), in such a way as to merge into each other and downwardly at least as far as and including a connecting zone (14 and 16 respectively) disposed in the base region of the terminal housing (1) outside the terminal interior, for connection to a ground or earth potential, and in that arrangement the closure plates (10) are metallised at all outside surfaces and in contact surface portions (11, 20) relative to the terminal housing (1) and the terminal housing is metallised in the corresponding contact surface portions (12, 19) relative to the closure plate (10), in such a way as to merge into the adjoining narrow sides.
  2. An electrically shielded modular terminal assembly according to claim 1 characterised in that provided in the base region of the terminal housing (1) is a receiving passage (16) for a shield bar (18), the inside wall of the passage being metallised, merging with the adjoining narrow sides (4, 5).
  3. An electrically shielded modular terminal assembly according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the base region (14) of the terminal housing (1), including the receiving space for a metal retaining element (15) for retention on the support bar (9), is formed by metallisation as a connection zone for connection to the ground and earth potential.
  4. An electrically shielded modular terminal assembly according to claim 1 characterised in that the closure plate (10) has retaining projections (11) for which retaining holes (12) are provided in the terminal housing (1) and the retaining projections (11) of the closure plate (10) and a connecting strip (20) extending therefrom to the adjoining outside surface of the closure plate (10) and also the retaining holes (12) in the terminal housing (1) and extending therefrom outwardly a correspondingly disposed connecting strip (19) of the adjoining terminal housing wall are also metallised as far as the adjoining narrow side (4, 5).
