Abstract

Zum Zweck des automatischen Einrichtens von Horizontal- und Vertikalwalzen in einem Universalgerüst, insbesondere nach dem Umbau des Gerüsts auf neue Profilformate der Walzstraße mit Hilfe von Anstellgliedern und mit Hilfe von auf Rechner­ einheiten (26) geschaltete Positions-Meßeinrichtungen für die Walzenstellungen wird vorgeschlagen, die axiale Einbaugeome­ trie der Vertikalwalzen (3, 4) in dem Gerüst als feste Bezugs­ größe zu nehmen und die Horizontalwalzen (1, 2) radial und axial in solche von Positions-Istwert-Gebern gemessenen Walzenstellungen zu verschieben, aus denen die geometrische Walzspaltmitte und die geometrische Walzmitte des Gerüsts bestimmt wird. Zur Berücksichtigung der Federkennlinienkon­ stanten des Gerüsts wird vorgeschlagen, daß die radiale Federkennlinie für beide Horizontalwalzen (1, 2) gemeinsam, die radiale Federkennlinie für jede Vertikalwalze (3, 4) ge­ sondert und die axiale Federkennlinie einer der Horizontal­ walzen (1, 2) jeweils nach einer der beiden Achsrichtungen gesondert ermittelt wird, indem die Walzen elektromechanisch bis zu dem Moment des Aufsetzens gegeneinander gefahren werden und anschließend der Walzenballendruck hydraulisch auf mindestens zwei Druckpunkte erhöht und von diesen Druck­ punkten wieder entlastet wird.
