Hierbei bildet sich zwischen den Heizeinrichtungen ein waagerechter Schacht, in dem das nachfolgende Furnier durch Transport- bzw. Anpreßrolle (13) und Gegendruckwalze (12) an das vorhergehende Furnierblatt fest angedrückt wird. Anschließend werden die obere und die untere Heizeinrichtung (14, 15) mit Druck und Wärme aktiviert, um den beim Zutransport des neuen Furnieres auf dessen Klebekante aufgebrachten Klebstoff mit dem anderen Furnierblatt (16) zu verkleben. Dabei wird der notwendige Anpreßdruck zwischen den Furnieren durch die Transport- bzw. Anpreßwalze (13) sowie die zugehörige Gegendruckwalze (12) erzeugt und aufrechterhalten.
