Definitions
- the invention relates to a bed frame, in particular a bed insert, consisting of a square frame.
- Bed inserts consist of a frame which is provided with parallel strips which are fastened on opposite sides. These strips are made of resilient material, such as wood; the individual wooden strips are usually stored in rubber bags.
- Such bed inserts therefore have certain resilient properties. Nevertheless, such a bed insert is not particularly suitable, in particular for people with spinal injuries, because when lying on such a bed insert, which is additionally equipped with a mattress, a uniform pressure distribution cannot be achieved. Certain parts of the body are therefore not supported when lying down, which is why the people whose skeletal apparatus is damaged still have certain difficulties when lying down.
- the invention has for its object to provide a bed frame, in particular a bed insert, with which it is possible to achieve a uniform support of the lying body parts when lying down, so that in particular unsupported body parts or cavities are avoided when lying down.
- circumferential straps are fastened parallel to one another in the frame, and in that an undivided air cushion extending approximately over the entire inside length of the frame is arranged between the lower and the upper run of the circumferential straps.
- the one-piece design of the air cushion and the parallel arrangement of individual straps in the frame of the bed frame or bed insert means that the lying body is supported at all points. This is because the air in the air cushion can be distributed over the entire length or length of the bed.
- a support of the body over its entire length is not achieved by this design, because due to the three-part design of the air cushion, air compensation within the air cushion cannot take place here due to different weight effects on the air cushion between the individual air cushion.
- the design according to the invention is characterized in that the air cushion, in which the pressure can be adjusted according to the weight of the person lying on it, is arranged centrally in the frame.
- the straps are designed to be tensionable. In the simplest case, this can be done in that each belt designed as a band is guided around tensioning strips which are fastened to the inside of the frame. Of course, conventional tensioning clips or the like can also be used to tension such a belt. Finally, the training can also be made such that the belt is designed as an endless belt which is guided around the tensioning strips.
- a second embodiment is characterized in that belts are fastened in the frame on opposite sides, that an undivided air cushion, which extends approximately over the entire clear length of the frame, is arranged on the belts, and that slats are fastened on the air cushion.
- a slat is assigned to each of the belts fastened parallel to one another in the frame; In order not to impair the flexibility of such a frame, the slats are at a vertical distance from the frame.
- the pressure in the air cushion is adjustable and that the air cushion is arranged in the center of the frame.
- Each belt can also be designed to be tensionable, where it is optionally guided in tensioning strips which are fastened to the inside of the frame.
- the third embodiment is a modification of the second embodiment.
- the length of the air cushion is divided in two, the two air cells forming a distance from one another and the two air cells being connected to one another by the slats lying on them.
- the advantage of this embodiment is better air circulation.
- the advantage of the three embodiments of such a bed is that the body lying thereon is evenly supported at every point, since the air cushion can adapt to the body shape in an ideal manner.
- the straps are designed like a net, in which case the width of these net-like straps is arbitrary, since it is precisely through this net-like design that it is possible to line these straps linearly at individual points where greater hardness is desired tighten. Any creasing is compensated for by the air cushion.
- a clamping bar frame can be provided instead of the clamping bars, which frame is made up of several parts, preferably three parts.
- the frame labeled 1 consists of the opposite sides 2, 2a and 3, 3a (Fig. 2).
- Belts 4 are arranged on the opposite sides 2, 2a of the frame.
- the design is such that such a belt is designed as a band which has the lower run 4a and the upper run 4b.
- An air cushion 5 is arranged between the upper run and the lower run, and is designed in the form of a wider hose 6 which is filled with compressed air.
- the belt 4 is fastened in the form of a band with an upper run 4b and a lower run 4a to a tensioning bar 7 which is arranged on the inside of the frame and which has corresponding recesses 8 through which the band 4 is guided.
- the belt can also be designed as an endless belt.
- Such a band or belt can be tensioned in a wide variety of ways, for example at the clamping point on the tensioning bar or with a specific tensioning lock, as is schematically designated by 10.
- the tensioning can also take place in that the air in the hose 6 is provided with a corresponding pressure. The variability of the pressure also gives the possibility of making the storage area soft or hard.
- this design of the bed insert ensures that every part of the body of the patient is supported so that any cavities are avoided and consequently corresponding one-sided loads on the skeletal apparatus cannot occur.
- the mattress 11 (FIG. 1) does not need to have the usual strength, it can be made much weaker.
- Fig. 5 shows the second embodiment; this differs from the first embodiment essentially in that instead of a plurality of circumferential belts arranged parallel to one another with upper and lower run, only a lower carrying belt 12 is attached to the frame 1, on which the air cushion 5 rests.
- Slats for example wooden slats 13, are attached to the air cushion 5 and have a vertical distance x from the frame 1 in order not to impair the flexibility of the frame as a whole.
- Fig. 6 shows a third embodiment modified from the second.
- the two air cushions designated 14 form a distance z from one another in order to further increase the air circulation for the mattress lying on the wooden slats 13.
- Fig. 7 shows an embodiment in which the tension bars 7 of the three embodiments are replaced by a tension bar frame 15.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a bed frame, in particular a bed insert, consisting of a square frame.
Bed inserts are known which consist of a frame which is provided with parallel strips which are fastened on opposite sides. These strips are made of resilient material, such as wood; the individual wooden strips are usually stored in rubber bags.
Solche Betteinsätze besitzen mithin gewisse federnde Eigenschaften. Such bed inserts therefore have certain resilient properties.
It is known to provide so-called water beds to achieve a uniform pressure load when lying down. However, these water beds must be warmed constantly, otherwise the cooling effect would be too great. In addition, such a water bed is naturally not air-permeable, so that there is a build-up of heat, which is why lying on such water beds is not perceived as pleasant.
The invention has for its object to provide a bed frame, in particular a bed insert, with which it is possible to achieve a uniform support of the lying body parts when lying down, so that in particular unsupported body parts or cavities are avoided when lying down.
This is achieved according to the invention in that circumferential straps are fastened parallel to one another in the frame, and in that an undivided air cushion extending approximately over the entire inside length of the frame is arranged between the lower and the upper run of the circumferential straps.
The one-piece design of the air cushion and the parallel arrangement of individual straps in the frame of the bed frame or bed insert means that the lying body is supported at all points. This is because the air in the air cushion can be distributed over the entire length or length of the bed.
From DD patent 8593 it is now known to cover the frame of a reclining sofa with a rubber band in a helical manner, and to arrange three air cushions divided in width between the upper and lower run of the rubber band. These air cushions are designed so that they give the couch surface of the sofa a curved appearance on all sides.
A support of the body over its entire length is not achieved by this design, because due to the three-part design of the air cushion, air compensation within the air cushion cannot take place here due to different weight effects on the air cushion between the individual air cushion.
The formation of the air cushions according to DD-PS 8593 serves, as already stated, rather only to give the couch a curved appearance.
In particular, the design according to the invention is characterized in that the air cushion, in which the pressure can be adjusted according to the weight of the person lying on it, is arranged centrally in the frame.
In order to be able to adjust the hardness of such a bed, the straps are designed to be tensionable.
A second embodiment is characterized in that belts are fastened in the frame on opposite sides, that an undivided air cushion, which extends approximately over the entire clear length of the frame, is arranged on the belts, and that slats are fastened on the air cushion. A slat is assigned to each of the belts fastened parallel to one another in the frame; In order not to impair the flexibility of such a frame, the slats are at a vertical distance from the frame. In addition, it also applies here that the pressure in the air cushion is adjustable and that the air cushion is arranged in the center of the frame. Each belt can also be designed to be tensionable, where it is optionally guided in tensioning strips which are fastened to the inside of the frame.
The third embodiment is a modification of the second embodiment. The length of the air cushion is divided in two, the two air cells forming a distance from one another and the two air cells being connected to one another by the slats lying on them. The advantage of this embodiment is better air circulation.
The advantage of the three embodiments of such a bed is that the body lying thereon is evenly supported at every point, since the air cushion can adapt to the body shape in an ideal manner. The same is achieved if the straps are designed like a net, in which case the width of these net-like straps is arbitrary, since it is precisely through this net-like design that it is possible to line these straps linearly at individual points where greater hardness is desired tighten. Any creasing is compensated for by the air cushion.
With such a bed frame or such a bed insert, the mattress does not need to be particularly thick, rather it is beneficial if the mattress is not too thick so that the advantages of such a bed, in particular its adaptability to the corresponding body shape, come into their own can. In order to enable an individual adjustment of the head and foot section, a clamping bar frame can be provided instead of the clamping bars, which frame is made up of several parts, preferably three parts.

The frame labeled 1 consists of the
As shown in FIG. 3, the
As shown in FIG. 4, this design of the bed insert ensures that every part of the body of the patient is supported so that any cavities are avoided and consequently corresponding one-sided loads on the skeletal apparatus cannot occur.
Since the bed insert with the belt and the air cushion can be set appropriately soft or hard, the mattress 11 (FIG. 1) does not need to have the usual strength, it can be made much weaker.
There is also air circulation; because there are enough gaps in the bed insert.
Fig. 5 shows the second embodiment; this differs from the first embodiment essentially in that instead of a plurality of circumferential belts arranged parallel to one another with upper and lower run, only a
Fig. 6 shows a third embodiment modified from the second. The two air cushions designated 14 form a distance z from one another in order to further increase the air circulation for the mattress lying on the
Fig. 7 shows an embodiment in which the tension bars 7 of the three embodiments are replaced by a
