Description

Im Hinblick auf möglichst hohe Festigkeit bei niedrigem Gewicht werden die Griffstege oder Griffränder von Flaschenkästen traditionell mit U- oder E-förmigem profil hergestellt. Dabei weisen die Profilschenkel üblicherweise nach außen, können aber auch im Interesse eines möglichst glattflächigen Kastens nach innen gerichtet sein. Durch eine solche Verrippung sind die Griffstege schmutzanfällig und lassen sich schlechter greifen als ein Vollprofil. Man hat daher auch schon versucht, die Öffnung eines U-Profils mit Lamellen auszufüllen. Claims (9)

  1. A bottle crate of plastics material with corner supports (1) which are connected in the lower region to provide a lower frame and in the upper region to provide an upper frame formed by gripping bars (2), in which the connecting elements at least partially comprise a hollow profile which is closed on three sides, of approximately rectangular or square cross-section, characterised in that the lower frame is formed by walls (3) and that the gripping bars (2) and/or the walls (3) are formed as a hollow profile of high strength by virtue of the fourth side thereof being closed by means of an ultrasound-welded or glued cover plate (5, 15).
  2. A bottle crate according to claim 1 characterised in that the cover plate (5, 15) for the gripping bars (2) is arranged on the top side thereof.
  3. A bottle crate according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the cover plate for the walls (3) is arranged on the underside thereof.
  4. A bottle crate according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that the cover plates (5) extend into the crate corners (1) and there meet each other.
  5. A bottle crate according to claim 2 characterised in that the cover plates of all four sides of the crate form a closed frame (15).
  6. A bottle crate according to one of claims 1 to 5 characterised in that the hollow profile (2) is provided with transverse stiffening ribs in the interior.
  7. A bottle crate according to one of claims 1 to 6 characterised in that the cover plates (5, 15) are provided at both longitudinal edges with insertion ribs (6) which face towards the interior of the profile.
  8. A bottle crate according to one of claims 1 to 7 characterised in that the cover plates (5, 15) are provided with transverse ribs (8) which face towards the interior of the profile.
  9. A bottle crate according to one of claims 1 to 8 characterised in that the cover plates (5) or the frame (15) are of a different colour from the bottle crate.
