Abstract
Bei einer Einrichtung zum Zünden und Betreiben elektrischer Gasentladungslampen, insbesondere in Kraftfahrzeugen, mit einer Wechselspannungsquelle (W), an die eine Gasentladungslampe angeschlossen ist, mit einem Übertrager (U), dessen Sekundärwicklung (LS) in Reihe zu der Gasentladungslampe angeordnet ist und die mit einem ersten Kondensator (C1) einen Schwingkreis bildet und dessen Primärwicklung (LP) Teil eines Zündkreises ist, der einen zweiten Kondensator (C2) und einen Halbleiterschalter (H) enthält, mit einer Spannungserkennungseinrichtung (SP) in dem Zündkreis, die über eine Schalteinrichtung mit dem Halbleiterschalter verbunden ist, bilden, um die Blindbelastung für die Wechselspannungsquelle durch den Übertrager zu minimieren und ein sicheres Zünden und Betreiben der Einrichtung zu gewährleisten, die erste Sekundärwicklung des Übertragers, der erste Kondensator und die Gasentladungslampe einen ersten Reihenschwingkreis, wobei die Resonanzfrequenz des ersten Reihenschwingkreises der Grundfrequenz der Spannung der Wechselspannungsquelle entspricht.
