Description

The invention relates to a tie made of interconnected blanks.

Ties are primarily for men, but for fashion reasons they are also often worn by women and tied under the shirt collar. However, the fashionable trend does not rule out wearing a tie over the shirt collar. The known neckties made of fabric have in addition to a longitudinal seam on the back at least one, usually two transverse so-called center seams, which arise when sewing the fabric blanks in that a tie is composed of several, namely usually three fabric sections connected by seams. This multi-part design makes it possible to maintain a certain minimum width with a contour of the tie tapering from one end to the other and yet to be able to ensure a uniform course of a tie pattern.

The material used for the necktie cuts is primarily fashionable fabrics made of all types of fibers named for their intended use, but primarily chemical silk in a variety of patterns and often provided with an embroidery shot; however, ties are often knitted or made of wool are made of leather. Apart from the necessary multiple seams mentioned above, known ties only have a front or visible side. This means that the tie user must regularly have several ties in order to have a choice with regard to the tie design, such as color, pattern and material, which enables him to tie a tie adapted to the occasion. If the tie user has made this selection and has dressed with the appropriate tie, there is often no longer any opportunity to change the tie for another at short notice, because a replacement or spare tie is usually not part of the clothing items that the tie user carries with him.

The invention has for its object to provide a tie that allows in particular a different and customized use.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by two cuts from different outer materials. This results in a tie that now consists of two visible sides of different make-up instead of one face and one back, i.e. The color, pattern and material of the two visible sides differ and therefore offer a double use of the tie. A blank can, if necessary, consist of at least two partial sections placed in the longitudinal direction.

In a preferred embodiment, a blank consists of two parts with tie tips each at one end, the parts being sewn together at their ends facing away from the tie tips. On the one hand, this allows for a length and sufficient for tying the tie on the other hand achieve that, despite a contour tapering from the tip of the tie to the other end, the congruent, superimposed blanks can preferably be sewn together at their edges. A rear longitudinal seam, which excludes the use of the rear side as a visible side, is therefore completely dispensed with, and apart from the connecting seam in the longitudinal center of the tie, no further transverse seam is required. The cut parts sewn together at their ends thus form a tie which has outer tie tips and a contour which tapers uniformly from both sides towards the longitudinal center.

  • Fig. 1 zwei Teile eines Zuschnitts einer erfindungsgemäß aus vier unterschiedlichen Oberstoffen bestehenden Krawatte;
The invention is explained below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it:
  • Figure 1 shows two parts of a blank of a tie consisting of four different outer fabrics according to the invention.
  • 2 shows the cut parts according to FIG. 1, which are connected to one another at their ends by a transverse seam and are designed in the longitudinal direction, in a plan view; and
  • Fig. 3 in an enlarged scale a cross section along the line III-III of Fig. 2 cut.

A tie 1 consists of two congruent blanks 2, 3 placed one on top of the other in the longitudinal direction, each of which has different outer fabrics 4, 5 and 6, 7 and, according to FIG. 1, is composed of two parts 8, 9.

Fig. 2) miteinander verbunden. Each part 8, 9 tapers from one tie tip 10, 11 to the other end, and that of the tie tips 10, 11 Ends 12, 13 of the parts 8, 9 facing away from one another are placed against one another and connected to one another by a transverse seam 14 (cf. FIG. 2). The transverse seam 14 is identical to the longitudinal center of the tie 1 shown in FIG. 2, which is composed of the two parts 8, 9 sewn together. In addition to the transverse seam 14, the outer fabrics 4, 5 or 6, 7 of a part 8 or 9 sewn to one another at their inward-turned edges 15, 16 as shown in FIG. 3.

The tie 1 shown in Fig. 2 allows the user to tie the tie 1 so that either one or the other outer fabric 4, 5 or 6, 7 of the blank 2 or 3 forms the visible side. Due to the different outer fabrics 4, 5, 6, 7, for example, by type and design as well as color, this results in a variable, individual handling and use of these four-sided tie.
