Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmetauscher mit einer Klemmverbindung zwischen einem mit mindestens einem Flansch versehenen Kunststoffwasserkasten und einem einen verformbaren Randbereich tragenden Rohrboden, zwischen denen eine elastische Dichtung unter Vorspannung gehalten ist, wobei der verformbare Randbereich vor seiner Verformung parallel zur Flanschaußenkontur verläuft und nach seiner Verformung zur Herstellung der Klemmverbindung über den Flansch des Kunststoffwasserkasten etwa wellenförmig verformte erste Teilbereiche und nicht verformte etwa parallel zur Flanschaußenkontur verlaufende weitere Teilbereiche aufweist und dabei die über den Flansch des Kunststoffwasserkastens verformten ersten Teilbereiche die formschlüssige Verbindungen bilden, bei der die Unterkanten der verformten ersten Teilbereiche auf den Anlageflächen des Flanschs unter Vorspannung anliegen und bei der zur Erleichterung der Verformung die verformbaren ersten Teilbereiche die Unterkanten bildend freigeschnitten sind. Ein derartiger wärmetauscher ist aus der DE-A-28 52 408 bekannt. Zum Schließen wird bei dieser bekannten Klemmverbindung auf die Oberseite des Kunststoffwasserkastens ein Schließwerkzeug aufgesetzt und zur Vorspannung der Dichtung niedergedrückt. Gegenüber den Dichtflächen des Flanschs greift das Werkzeug versetzt an, so daß die Schließkräfte umgelenkt werden müssen. Durch die auftretenden Biegemomente erfolgt eine unerwünschte Flanschverformung mit der Folge der Gefahr von Randbeschädigungen und Undichtheit. Einfallen (Verzug) des Wasserkastens verhindert. Im Bereich dieser Abkröpfung kann der Flansch dann mit Abstand über seiner Dichtfläche einen Wellenquerschnitt haben. Hierzu muß der verformbare erste Teilbereich 7 des Rohrbodens 2 freigeschnitten sein, bspw. in Form von Unterkanten 9 bildenden Langlöchern 10. Die Unterkanten 9 dieser Langlöcher 10 werden beim Schließen der Verbindung über Anlageflächen 11 des Flanschs 4 gebogen. Der Flansch 4 weist die Anlageflächen 46 nach oben überragende Erhöhungen 13 auf, deren zur Dichtfläche 15 des Flanschs 4 parallel verlaufende Oberseiten Werkzeugansatzflächen 14 haben. Diese Werkzeugansatzflächen 15 liegen genau über der Dichtfläche 15 des Flanschs 4, so daß beim Vorspannen der elastischen Dichtung 3 auf den Flansch 4 keine Biegemomente übertragen werden. Um hier von oben her eine freie Zugänglichkeit zu erhalten sind die Seitenwände 16 des Kunststoffwasserkastens 1 abgekröpft. Diese Abkröpfungen sind höhenversetzt, nämlich oben liegend im Bereich unterhalb der Werkzeugansatzflächen 14 und tiefer liegend im Bereich unterhalb der Anlageflächen 11 für die Unterkanten 9 der verformten Teilbereiche 7. Damit hat die Seitenwand 16 im Bereich der Erhöhungen 13 einen Wellenquerschnitt und erfährt so gleichzeitig eine wesentliche Versteifung bei gleichzeitiger Materialeinsparung und Verringerung des Konstruktionsgewichts. Durch die annähernd konstante Wanddickenausbildung ergibt sich eine spritzgerechte Konstruktion mit geringem Verzug des Kunststoff-Wasserkastens 1, weil das Material nach dem Spritzvorgang gleichmäßig abkühlt - ein sogenanntes "Einfallen verhindert, durch das nach innen gewölbte, konkave Längsseiten entstehen würden, die dann nicht mehr in die parallelen Nuten des Rohrbodens 2 passen. Durch die Werkzeugumsatzflächen 14 können für unterschiedliche Wasserkästen 1 die gleichen Schließwerkzeuge verwendet werden, was bei den bisherigen Schließverfahren mit geometrisch an den Wassekasten 1 angepaßten Schließglocken nicht möglich war. Um ein seitliches Ausweichen der Seitenwände 16 zu verhindern kann in der Abkröpfung 17 eine nach unten offene Aufnahmetasche 18 im Bereich unterhalb der Werkzeugansatzfläche 14 auf der Innenseite vorgesehen sein, in der eine Endabwinklung 19 eines querverlaufenden Zugankers 20 eingesetzt ist, wie dies in Fig. 5 dargestellt ist.
