Description

The invention relates to a slitter or scoring machine for a moving corrugated cardboard web, with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

Such a slitting or creasing machine is known from GB 21 39 135 A. This has guide beds above and below the horizontally continuous web, which are arranged transversely to the web and at a distance one above the other. Each guide bed can be swiveled back and forth around a central carrying and adjusting spindle. In each guide bed, tool bodies are arranged in rows across the web on both sides of the carrying and adjusting spindle. Each tool body is guided in the guide bed. It can be adjusted using the adjusting spindle when the clutch is engaged. Each tool body carries a single tool that can be driven by a continuous drive spindle. If the interacting tool rows are in the working position when the guide bed is tilted, the tool rows arranged behind in the direction of the web run in the starting position. The tool pairs in the initial position can be set to new positions for subsequent processing of the web. To do this, the associated couplings must be coupled to the common adjusting spindle. The tools of a guide bed carried by different tool bodies are of identical design. It is not intended that the tools in the starting position be in the same position as those in the working position left in order to use them as replacement tools. It is also not intended to use different tools in a guide bed. So z. B. not different creasing profiles or knife and perforating tools can be used.

From DE-PS 24 36 717 machines for slitting and creasing a web are also known. These are arranged one after the other in a system and can be used alternately. Each machine has several pairs of tools in rows across the direction of the web, arranged in the form of a so-called turret unit. The tools that are not in the working position can be preset in pairs in a new position. In this known machine, too, it is not intended to use different tools.

With such slitting machines, different web materials are to be cut with different cutting systems, for example rotating pairs of knives, blades, squeezing knives and the like. Tool pairs are arranged above and below the web to be cut. Each upper pair of tools is mounted on a swivel-mounted double arm, which can be swung back and forth by means of a swivel drive. Each double swivel arm is slidable and adjustable. The changing of the cutting tools for the use of different cutting systems takes place when changing the web and not in continuous operation. This known slitting machine does not provide that the same tools should be used in new positions or in the same positions for cutting or processing the continuous web of material. Since each individual double arm for the tool pairs can be assigned a swiveling swivel drive, the effort is considerable.

The invention has for its object to improve the slitting or creasing machine described at the outset so that it is possible to have damaged or worn tools or tools with other profiles in essentially the same working positions, but with the usual continuous operation, d. H. with a continuously running web of goods.

Die Erfindung löst diese Aufgabe mit den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Patentanspruches 1.The invention solves this problem with the characterizing features of claim 1.

According to the invention, a replacement tool can be brought into the working position quickly and without interrupting the continuous movement of the web. It is also possible, instead of a replacement tool, to bring differently designed tools into the working position. B. have a different profile shape. The machine according to the invention is constructed so that the lowest possible construction effort is required. It is therefore inexpensive to manufacture.

Further embodiments of the invention result from the subclaims.

Fig. 2
a partial section along the line II-II in Fig. 1st

The slitting and / or creasing machine 1 described below is used for a corrugated cardboard web 2.

The longitudinal cutting and / or creasing machine 1 has a stationary machine frame 3, which is only partially indicated in FIG. 1. This machine frame 3 carries a guide bed 4 for tool body 5. The guide bed 4 comprises parallel longitudinal members 6, which are arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the continuous corrugated cardboard web 2. These longitudinal beams 6 are firmly connected to shield plates 7 at their ends. The shield plates 7 are connected to the machine frame 3 via pivot pins 8. The longitudinal beams 6 have parallel guide rails 9 with a circular cross section on their underside.

The tool bodies 5 have matching receptacles 11 for the guide rails 9 on their upper side. The tool bodies 5 carry several tools 12, 12 ', which are shown in the exemplary embodiment. These can be cutting tools or creasing tools. A tool can be provided as a replacement for cutting or creasing tools. With a creasing tool, it is also possible to provide other creasing profiles.

The tools 12, 12 'are driven by parallel drive shafts 13, 13' which hold the tools 12, 12 'in a rotationally fixed but longitudinally displaceable manner. For this purpose, the drive shafts 13, 13 'have longitudinal grooves 10 with which wedges 10' engage.

It is also possible to drive only one of the tools 12 or 12 'via a drive shaft 13 or 13'. Then the tools 12, 12 'are connected by intermeshing teeth, not shown.

Transversely to the corrugated cardboard web 2, the tools 12, 12 'are arranged in rows one behind the other. A continuous adjusting spindle 14 is provided, for example, for setting the tools 12, 12 'to their desired position. Each tool body 5 has a controllable coupling 15 on its upper side. Such adjustment drives are known in various designs. The adjustment drive shown is only given as an example.

So that the tools 12, 12 'can be alternately transferred into the working position, the guide bed 4 is connected to an actuating device 16, which on the other hand is connected to the stationary machine frame 3. Such an adjusting device 16 is preferably designed as a spindle lifting device which acts laterally on the guide bed 4 outside the central plane. This makes it possible to pivot the guide bed 4 to a limited extent about the pivot pin 8. Since the tools 12, 12 'are arranged symmetrically to the central plane, one or the other of the tools 12, 12' can be transferred to the working position in a simple manner via the adjusting device 16, in which such a tool interacts with the corrugated cardboard web 2. As usual, several units of tools are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the corrugated cardboard web 2 in a manner not shown, with several rows of cutting tools and several rows of creasing tools being present. Such a structure is also common and is therefore not shown separately.

In addition to the tools 12, 12 'provided above the corrugated cardboard web 2, as can be seen from FIG. 1, cooperating tools 17, 17' are arranged below the corrugated cardboard web 2. The guide bed, drive shaft adjusting devices and the like correspond to the structure above the corrugated cardboard web 2.

As can be seen from Fig. 2, the tools 12, 12 'can be arranged not only in a plane parallel to the longitudinal center plane of the corrugated cardboard web 2, but also in an overlapping arrangement. For this purpose, the tool carrier 18 are formed hub-shaped with the drive shafts 13, 13 'rotatably but slidably connected. The ring-shaped creasing tools 12, 12 'carried thereby then take up a certain offset from one another. When changing the tools, an appropriate readjustment must then be made. The creasing tools 12, 12 'are supported by ball bearings 9, 19' on the tool body 5, which has different thickness in cross section.

Instead of only two tools on one tool body 5, it is also possible to provide a plurality of tools, in particular when the tools are turret-like mounted on the tool body.

It is also possible to form only the lower guide bed for the tools 17, 17 'or the upper and lower pivotable.
