Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for collating printed products, in particular separately stored inserts.
With the devices of the aforementioned type which have been generally customary to date, it has already been possible to automatically and / or partly manually collate printed products consisting of inserts and, if appropriate, a current printed product in the form of a newspaper. Such printed products are then delivered to the recipients, for example the subscribers to newspapers, via corresponding distribution systems. Individualization of the compiled printed products was not possible or was not possible rationally, especially not if a larger number of printed products or supplements had to be compiled. There are already four options for an individual combination with two printed products and sixteen with four printed products. The combination possibilities increase very strongly with an even larger number of printed products or inserts to be compiled, which is due to the fact that previously individually controlled collection of printed products was not possible, for example newspaper subscribers according to their wishes for the daily newspaper, a selected, individual offer of inserts to provide.
The object of the present invention is to provide a method and a device for collating printed products, according to which a given product or newspaper subscriber group is to be provided with an individual printed product package, for example in the form of an "individual newspaper", for each subscriber.
This object is achieved by applying the features of the characterizing part. Further developments of the invention result from the subclaims and from the description in connection with the drawing. This shows in schematic form the device according to the invention with which the method on which the invention is based can be carried out.
In the exemplary embodiment, feeders 1, 2, 3, 4 for receiving printed
The feeders 1 to 4 for the printed products are each equipped with valves 11 to 14 and with
Vorzugsweise entspricht die Anzahl der Zeitglieder mindestens der Anzahl der obenliegenden Kammerabschnitte 48 bis 51.According to the control of feeder 1 to 4 or valves 11 to 14, any combination of printed
With the device described above, it is thus possible that the
With the help of a
