Description

The invention relates to a device for producing coin rolls according to the preamble of claim 1.

A device of this type is previously known from DE 19 46 278. In this case, the flat-lying coins are fed via a coin slide to several channels, which end in tilting zones. In these, the channel base is withdrawn from the coins on one side, so that the coins tip over to one side and end up in an upright position. The coins are located in conveyor tracks, in which they are conveyed upright to a collecting station, in which the coins are combined to form a stack of coins. This stack of coins is then wrapped in a foil in the winding station for the roll of coins. The known device has the disadvantage that the coins are fed in only at a relatively low speed and assembled into coin stacks for the purpose of packaging in coin rolls can be. In addition, the known device requires a considerable amount of space, so that it cannot be used as a table device.

The invention is therefore based on the object of improving a device of the generic type in such a way that, with a small construction volume, a large number of coins per unit of time can be assembled into coin stacks and packed in coin rolls.

The solution to this problem arises from the characterizing features of claim 1. The coins run into the device directly from the conveyor track of a known coin counter and coin sorting device working with a horizontal turntable with a high number of pieces of up to 3000 coins per minute and enter quick succession on the two parallel rails of the tilting station. Here, the coin arriving first is inclined at an angle of approximately 45 to 60 ° under the action of the contact surface of the first coin retainer, which is directed obliquely against the conveying direction of the coins, the first coin being transverse to the conveying direction and thus transverse to the rails. The next and each subsequent coin abuts against the lower surface area of the correspondingly inclined coins, so that the coins arriving at high speed are successively lined up in a row. This results in a scaled stack of coins on the parallel rails of the tilting station within a very short time. The stack of coins is then conveyed to the winding station located on the same level and packed there in a film to form a roll of coins. The device requires only a small construction volume, since the device is not significantly longer than twice the length of the longest stack of coins to be formed. By shingling the coins on the parallel rails of the tilting station, the stack of coins is formed at high working speed up to 3000 coins per minute.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention result from the subclaims. The distance between the rails can be adjusted symmetrically to the longitudinal axis of a conveyor belt for the coins, so that the device can be adjusted to different diameters of coins. Furthermore, a transport slide is provided in connection with a front coin roll counter-holder, with this being assigned a rear coin roll counter-holder, which takes over the holding function of the transport slide within the winding station. The winding station is used to roll the stack of coins into a film and thus to form the roll of coins. The winding station is provided with two rubber rollers at a distance from one another, with a film dispenser and with a pressing device for the film and also with warm air nozzles for shrinking the film edges.

It is already known from DE 12 91 153 to form a stack of coins on two parallel rows and then use grippers to transfer the stack of coins thus formed to two rolling rollers located below the rows on which the stack of coins is wrapped in a paper sheet to form the roll of coins becomes. Here, however, the coins are conveyed individually and upright to the aligning rods via a chute, so that this known device can only work at a relatively low speed. Due to the stacked arrangement of rows and rolling rollers, there is also a large construction volume, so that this known device can also not be used as a table device.

The device 1 for the production of coin rolls is part of a coin counting and coin sorting device 2 in the exemplary embodiment. This comprises within a housing 3 a horizontal turntable 4, which is driven by rotation about its vertical axis of rotation 5 in the direction of rotation 6. The coins 7 placed on the turntable 4 via a slide (not shown in detail) are conveyed tangentially from the turntable 4 into the feed path 9 by means of a conveyor belt 8, via which the coins 7 reach the device 1 for producing coin rolls. Devices for counting and sorting the coins (not shown in more detail) are arranged in the feed path 9. At the end of the feed path 9 below the front deflection wheel 10 for the conveyor belt 8, which rotates in the direction of the arrow 11, a rocker 12 is arranged, which in a counting and sorting process without using the device 1 for the production of coin rolls all coins 7 in one not closer shown collecting shaft derives. For this purpose, the rocker 12 is pivoted up. In the normal position, the top of the rocker 12 is in the plane of the feed path 9, so that all coins 7 are introduced into the device 1 for producing coin rolls. The rocker 12 will be described in more detail later.

The device 1 for the production of coin rolls comprises a tilting station 15 for transferring the coins 7 lying flat on the feed path 9 into an upright position and a winding station 16 for forming a coin roll 13 from the upright standing coins 7 combined into a coin stack 14.

The tilting station 15 comprises two parallel rails 17, which adjoin the feed path 9 in the longitudinal direction and whose distance from one another is symmetrical to the longitudinal central axis of the conveyor belt 8 is adjustable. For this purpose, the rails 17 are fastened to rail supports 18, which extend over the entire length of the tilting and winding station 15, 16. At both ends there are 18 racks 19 at right angles to the rail supports, the teeth of which are directed towards each other and each engage in pairs in pinions 20 which are mounted with their axes perpendicular to the cover plate 21 of the coin counting and sorting device 2. A long rack 22 meshes with the pinions 20, which extends parallel to the feed path 9 and the tilting and winding station 15, 16 and is actuated by a further pinion 23. Via the pinion 23, the distance between the rails 17, which is always somewhat smaller than the diameter of the coins 7, is set by means of an adjusting knob (not shown) attached to this. Furthermore, by means of the pinion 23, a slide 111 is actuated to adjust the width of a discharge opening 112, which determines the diameter of the coins 7 to be conveyed via the conveyor track 9.

A coin hold-down device 24 is arranged above the rails 18 and connected to the rail supports 18 by two parallel links 25 each. The coin hold-downs 24 are formed from flat profile pieces, the vertical height or thickness of which is curved at their ends directed towards the feed path 9. The two coin hold-down devices 24 are depressed by a pusher 26, which is pivotable on a rocker 27 about an axis 28 and is pressed clockwise against the coin hold-down device 24 by means of a spring 29. The pusher 26 is located in the middle between the coin hold-down devices 24 and has at its free end two pusher pins 30 which rest directly on the upper sides of the coin hold-down devices 24.

Der Anstellwinkel α der Anstellflächen 35 für die Münzen 7 beträgt in der Ruhelage etwa 60°.The rocker arm 27 extends over the entire length of the tilting and winding station 15, 16 and is with its pivot axis 31 firmly connected to the cover plate 21 of the coin counting and sorting device 2. In the area of the tilting station 15, the rocker arm 27 carries four S-shaped coin retainers 32 which reach between the rails 17 and are mounted in the rocker arm 27 by means of axles 33 and are under the action of tension springs 34 which are located at the upper short end attack the coin retainer 32. The tension spring 34 of the first coin retainer 32 in the direction of transport is equipped with greater spring force than the springs 34 of the subsequent coin retainers 32. The rocker arm 27 is formed from a U-profile, in which the axes 33 of the coin retainers 32 are inserted in such a way that that the upper short ends acted upon by the tension springs 34 come to rest in the rest position against the overhead base of the U-shaped rocker 27. The S-shaped coin retainers 32 are provided with adjustment surfaces 35 directed obliquely to the transport direction of the coins 7, which are formed from the short ends of the S-shaped coin retainers 32 opposite the axes 33. The setting angle α of the setting surfaces 35 for the coins 7 is approximately 60 ° in the rest position.

The previously described tilting station 15 of the device 1 for producing coin rolls 13 operates as follows:

When the rocker 12 is in its normal position, the coins 7 are guided from the turntable 4 via the guide track 9 into the tilting station 15 at high speed. Between the rocker 12 and the conveyor belt 8 in the area of the front deflection wheel 10, the first coin 7 passes into the area of the rails 17, the distance from one another of which is slightly smaller than the diameter of the coins 7. At the same time, the first coin 7 comes against the contact surface 35 of the first coin retainer 32, as shown in FIG. 2. The coin 7 tilts with the lower part of its surface between the rails 17, but without to fall through them, since the surface of the coin 7 comes to rest transversely to the contact surface 35 of the coin retainer 32. At the same time, the obliquely erected coin 7 comes into contact with the lower edges of the two coin hold-down devices 24. Thus, the first coin 7 is fixed in its inclined position. Further coins 7 now arrive in rapid succession, which, as shown in FIG. 3, lie against the first coin 7 and are erected in the same manner as this. The erection takes the form of a shingling. Each subsequent coin 7 presses the coin 7 already in the tilting station 15, so that the coin stack 14 in formation is transferred from the first coin retainer 32 to the second coin retainer 32, as shown in FIG. 3. The contact surface 35 of the first coin retainer 32 comes to rest on the top of the coins 7 of the coin stack 14 being formed. Depending on the length of the desired coin stack 14, this process continues until the desired number of coins 7 in the coin stack 14 is reached. The now finished stack of coins 14 is transferred to a transport device 36, which transfers the stack of coins 14 into the winding station 16.

The transport device 36 consists of a front coin roller counter-holder 37 which is movably arranged below the rocker arm 27 and above the rails 17 or the rail carrier 18 and two slide arms 39 of a transport slide valve 38 which are arranged below the rails 17 and can be pivoted between them. This is with its slide body 40 guided on two parallel guide rods 41 which are fixedly attached below the cover plate 21 of the coin counting and coin sorting device 2. The slider body 40 is moved back and forth along the guide rods 41 via a chain 42 by a drive, not shown. The transport slide 38 comprises a pair of slide arms 39 which are articulated via a spacer 114 on the slide body 40 and parallel to one another at a small distance from one another are arranged. When the slide body 40 is moved along the guide rods 41, the slide arms 39 are automatically pivoted from the flat position shown on the right in FIG. 6 to the upright position shown on the left in FIG. 6. For this purpose, links 43, 44 are provided which can be actuated via a control rod 45. In the erected position of the slide arms 39 shown on the left in FIG. 6, these are rigidly locked by means of the links 43, 44. As shown in FIG. 4, in this locked position, the slide arms 39 engage against the last coin of the stack of coins 14 to be pushed into the winding station on the rails 17.

The front coin roll counter-holder 37 is mounted below the rocker 27 in guides 46 and is acted upon by springs 47 which constantly press the front coin roll counter-holder 37 in the direction of the tilting station 15. At the lower end, the front counter roll holder 37 carries a plunger 48, the shaft of which is fastened to a swivel-slide piece 50 which, when an axis 49 engages in a groove 113, can pivot about the axis 49 against the action of a spring 51 and is purely axial Actuation is axially locked, as shown in Fig. 5, left.

When a stack of coins 14 formed in the tilting station 15 is transferred to the winding station 16, the slide arms 39 of the transport slide 38 are pivoted up and brought into their locked-up position shown in FIG. 6 on the left. The slide arms 39 now reach behind the last coin 7 of the coin stack 14 formed and push the entire coin stack 14 in the direction of the winding station 16, the front coin 7 coming into contact with the plunger 48 of the front coin roll counter-holder 37. All of the coins 7 are erected vertically and fed as a stack of coins 14 to the winding station 16 via the rails 17. The slide arms 39 of the transport slide 38 press on the coin stack 14 and the plunger 48 against the springs 47 which act on the front coin roll counter-holder. The plunger 48 of the front counter roll holder 37 is automatically locked.

The winding station 16 comprises two rubber rollers 52 located at a distance from one another, which serve to receive the coin stack 14 and to form the coin roll 13 and which are mounted on the rail supports 18. The distance between the rubber rollers 52 is thus set in the same way as the distance between the rails 17 via the adjustment of the rail carrier 18.

As shown in FIG. 4, when the coin stack 14 is transferred from the tilting station 15 into the winding station 16 at the end of the guide rods 41 for the transport slide 38, there is a rear coin roll counter-holder 53 which is pressed down by the coin stack 14 as it passes. After passing through the coin stack 14, the rear coin roll counter-holder 53 swings up, as shown in FIG. 5. The rear coin roll counter holder 53 fits exactly between the two slide arms 39 of the transport slide 38 and engages with its plunger 54 in the center against the rearmost coin 7. For this purpose, the shaft 55 of the plunger 55 is similar to the shaft 49 of the plunger 48 on the front coin roll counter holder 37 can be pivoted and locked against a spring force about a horizontal axis 56. The rear coin roll counter-holder 53 is formed from a counter-holder arm 57 which carries the plunger 54 with its shaft 55 and two parallel arm 58 which support this and are articulated on a counter-holder carrier 60 which is fixed to the housing. A tension spring 59 presses the counter-holding arm 57 in the direction of that located in the winding station 16 Coin stack 14. After the coin stack 14 has been taken over by the rear coin roll counter-holder 53, the slide arms 39 of the transport slide 38 pivot back and are returned to the starting position shown in FIG. 2, in which the slide arms 39 are in their rest position below the rocker 12 .

The rocker 12 shown in more detail in FIGS. 8 to 10 comprises a bridge-shaped guide track part 61 which, in the normal position of the rocker 12, is flush with its surface with the surface of the feed track 9. The bridge-shaped guideway part 61 is formed from two spaced-apart plate-shaped components, the spacing of which is smaller than the diameter of the smallest coin 7. Below the front deflection wheel 10 for the conveyor belt 8, a ball bearing 62 is inserted into the bridge-like guideway part 61, which 0.2 mm) protrudes over the top of the guideway part 61 and is used for easier transfer of the coins 7 to the tilting station 15. At the front end, a pivot piece 63 is inserted into the guideway part 61, which serves on the one hand to transfer the coins 7 into the tilting station 15 and on the other hand to pivot the slide arms 39 of the transport slide 38 up. The guideway part 61 is mounted with a pivot axis 64 on a support arm 65, which in turn is mounted on an axis 66 fixed to the housing. On the support arm 65, a pin 67 is attached perpendicular to the support arm 65, which is acted upon by a tension spring 68 which is supported on the housing. The swing arm 12 consisting of the guideway part 61 and the support arm 65 can thus be pivoted against the action of the tension spring 68 about the housing-fixed axis 66, so that the distance between the conveyor belt 8 below the front deflection wheel 10 and the swing arm 12 to adapt to different thicknesses Coins can be set automatically. The The pivot axis 64 of the guideway part 61 is formed by a rod 69, around which a torsion spring 70 is placed. This is supported on the support arm 65 and causes the guideway part 61 to be pressed in the direction of its normal position, in which the guideway part 61 lies in the plane of the feed path 9 (FIG. 8). A plate 71 is attached to the rod 69 and is opposite an electromagnet 72. When it is actuated, the plate 71 is tightened so that the guide track part 61 is pivoted against the action of the torsion spring 70 in order to interrupt the feed track 9, ie the rocker 12 is raised (FIG. 10) so that the feed tracks 9 are fed in Coins are sorted out. The rocker 12 thus has a double function. On the one hand, the rocker 12 serves to compensate for the differences in thickness of different types of coins. On the other hand, the rocker 12 is used to derive coins that are not to be fed to the device 1 for producing coin rolls.

The winding station 16 (FIGS. 11 to 15) comprises the rubber rollers 52 mounted on the rail supports 18, the spacing of which is smaller than the diameter of the coins 7 and of which at least one can be driven, and also on one long side a film dispenser 80 for supplying a wrapping film 81 and finally, on the other long side of the rubber rollers 52, a pressing device 82 for the film 81, in order to place it around the coin stack 14 and to form it into the coin roll 13.

The film dispenser 80 comprises a receptacle 83 for a film roll 84 and also a measuring and feed table 85 for feeding the film 81. The receptacle 83 for the film roll 84 consists of two from the housing 3 of the coin counting and coin sorting device 2 outstanding receiving arms 86, between which the film roll 84 is clamped and of which the receiving arm 86 shown on the left in FIG. 1 is adjustably mounted in the housing 3 to adapt to different film widths. Below the feed table 85 for the film 81, a drive motor 87 is flanged to a carrier 88 fixed to the housing and is provided with a flying roller 89 which extends through an opening 90 on one side of the feed table 85 in order to pull the film 81 drawn flat over the feed table 85 transport. To effect a transport function, the roller 89 is assigned a pressure roller 91 above the feed table 85 (FIGS. 13 to 15). In the conveying direction of the film 81, a separating slot 92 extends across the feed table 85 and is opposed by a separating knife 93, which is shown in more detail in FIG. 16. A further roller 94 engages through the opening 90 in the feed table 85 and is mounted with the axis concentric with the axis of the roller 89 for driving the film 81 on the axis 95 of a transmitter 96, which in turn is fixed by means of a carrier 97 fixed to the housing. The transmitter 96 is used to measure and control the length of a piece of film required for wrapping a stack of coins 14.

To transfer the film 81 from the feed table 85 to the rubber rollers 52, a segment piece 99 which can be pivoted about a vertical axis 98 is provided, which is pivoted from the position shown in FIG. 11 below the feed table 85 for the film 81 over the two rubber rollers 52, such as it is shown in FIG. 13 so as to bring the film 81 over the two rubber rollers 52 to the pressing device 82 arranged on the side of the rubber rollers 52 opposite the film dispenser 80.

The pressing device 82 for the film 81 comprises two rigid brackets 101 which are at a distance from one another and can be swiveled about an axis 100 and to which a shorter spring steel band 102 is fastened approximately in the middle and a longer spring steel band 103 is fastened at the end. The shorter spring steel strip 102 is provided at the end with a pressure roller 104 provided with a free wheel. The longer spring steel band 103 is connected at the end to an elastic band 105, which, in addition to the nearest rubber roller 52, is deflected downward at point 106 and is provided with a tensile weight 107 at the end.

Die beschriebene Wickelstation 16 arbeitet wie folgt:The winding station 16 described operates as follows:

The film 81 is pulled off the film roll 84 located in the receiving arms 86 and is guided over the feed table 85 arranged with an inclined surface into the gap between the transport roll 89 and the pressure roll 91. The encoder 96 is set to zero. Now, under the action of the transport roller 89 and under counterpressure, the desired film length is conveyed through the pressure roller 91 and, when the segment piece 99 is pivoted out, is guided over the two parallel rubber rollers 52 into the region of the pressure device 82, as shown in FIG. 13. As soon as the measuring roller 94 of the encoder has determined the desired length, the transport roller 89 is stopped. A separating cut is then carried out by means of the separating knife 93. The coin stack 14 formed in the tilting station 15 can now be introduced into the winding station 15. During the insertion process, the plunger 54 of the rear coin roll counter-holder 53 pulls the film 81 downward, as is indicated in FIG. 4, so that the coin stack 14 can be pushed onto the rubber rollers 52 of the winding station 16 without the film 81 is pushed along. After the coin stack 14 has been introduced, the two brackets 101 of the pressing device 82 pivot against the coin stack 14 now located on the rubber rollers 52, the elastic band 105 and the pressure rollers 104 coming into contact with the coin stack 14.

The rotary drive of one of the two rubber rollers 52 now turns the stack of coins 14 in the direction of the arrow 108 (FIG. 14), the brackets 101 and thus the elastic bands 105 and the pressure rollers 104 being pivoted further, as shown in FIG. 15 is. The elastic band 105 is constantly under the effect of the pulling weight 107. As soon as the stack of coins 14 is fully wrapped in the measured piece of the film 81, hot air nozzles 109 (FIGS. 1 and 11) come into effect, which protrude from both ends of the stack of coins 14 Flare the edges of the foil 81 under the influence of heat inwards onto the end faces of the coin stack 14. The coin roll 13 is thus completed and can fall down after the two rubber rollers 52 have been swung apart. For this purpose, the rubber rollers 52 are mounted on the rail supports 18 by means of separate pivot bearings, not shown in the figures.

To set the desired length of a coin roll 13, the receiving arm 86 for the film roll 84 shown on the left in FIGS. 1 and 11, the bracket 101 shown on the left and the hot air nozzle 109 shown on the left are each adjustably mounted on the housing 3 of the coin counting and coin sorting device 2 .

Auf beiden Seiten des Trennmessers 93 sind Klemmbacken 110 angeordnet, die vor einem Trennschnitt mechanisch nieder und gegen die Oberfläche des Zuführtisches 85 gedrückt werden.16 shows the special design of the feed table 85 in the region of the separating knife 93 which engages in the separating slot 92 and which is provided with a sawtooth-like cutting edge. Clamping jaws 110 are arranged on both sides of the separating knife 93 and are mechanically pressed down before a separating cut and pressed against the surface of the feed table 85.

The film 81 is clamped between the clamping jaws 110, so that the cutting knife 93 can cut the stretched film 81 with its sawtooth-like cutting edge. The cutting takes place in a combined perforation and separation cut. Due to the perforation of the film 81 by means of the sawtooth-like cutting edge of the separating knife 93, the edges of the cut lengths of the film 81 receive a sawtooth-like design, which is used to easily tear the film 81 comprising the coin roll 13.

All functions of the device described for the production of coin rolls 13 are carried out without great effort. Thus, the coins 7 slide on the rails 17 on the one hand and on the rubber rollers 52 on the other without the coins 7 weighing the drive of the device. The coin stacks 14 formed in the tilting station 15 are shifted into the winding station 15 only by driving the transport device 38, the coin stacks 14 being held between their transport arms 39 and the front coin roll counter-holder 37 and then between the latter and the rear coin roll counter-holder 53 whose plunger 48, 54 holds the coins 7. After completion of the coin roll 13 and after pivoting away the rubber rollers 52, the plungers 48, 54 tilt down after their axial locking has been released (FIG. 5).
