Abstract

Um ein solches Verfahren und auch eine Vorrichtung zu schaffen, mit dem bzw. der ein eine über die gesamte Wanddicke ver­ drallte Profilierung aufweisendes, dünnwandiges Rohr beliebiger Länge einfach und kostengünstig hergestellt werden kann, wird vorgeschlagen, daß zur Herstellung eines im Querschnitt wellenförmig über die gesamte Wanddicke profilierten Rohres ein Glattrohr mit einem s/D-Verhältnis im Bereich von 0,015 bis 0,080 durch den drehbar gelagerten, schräg geschnittene Nuten aufweisenden Ziehring auf einen kleineren Durchmesser gezogen wird, wobei bei nahezu unveränderter Wanddicke die Länge der Hüllkurve des Außenprofils des profilierten Rohres annähernd gleich dem Umfang des Glattrohres ist.
