Bei dem bekannten gattungsgemäßen Verfahren (FR-A-22 10 540) muß beim Wechsel der Verpackungsbehälter der Herantransport von Folienverpackungen unterbrochen werden. Bei dem bekannten Verfahren wird kurz vor dem Ende des Füllvorganges das Förderband für die schuppenförmig aufeinander liegenden Folienverpackungen kurzzeitig stillgesetzt und die noch im bogenförmigen Förderabschnitt befindlichen Folienverpackungen in den Verpackungsbehälter eingebracht. Danach wird das Umlenkelement aus dem Verpackungsbehälter herausbewegt ein nachfolgender leerer Verpackungsbehälter in die Füllstellung gebracht. Erst dann wird das Antransportieren von neuen Folienverpackungen fortgesetzt und ein neuer Füllvorgang eingeleitet. Zur Vermeidung einer störenden Unterbrechung im Antransport des abzupackenden Materials ist es aus der GB-A-20 46 711 bekannt, mit einem Beschleunigungsband zu arbeiten. Das aus dieser Druckschrift bekannte Verfahren ist geeignet zum Abpacken von Kartonagen. Die Kartonagen werden von einem ersten Förderband auf ein daran anschließendes, mit kleinerer Transportgeschwindigkeit bewegtes Transportband übergeben. Dabei werden die Kartonagen schuppenförmig aufeinander abgelegt. Nachdem eine vorgegebene, in einem Verpackungsbehälter abzupackende Anzahl an Kartonagen auf dem Transportband aufliegt, wird das Transportband beschleunigt und die schuppenförmig übereinander liegenden Kartonagen mit hoher Geschwindigkeit im freien Fall in den Verpackungsbehälter eingeführt. Dieses Verfahren ist für Folienverpackungen mit nicht lagefixiertem Gut ungeeignet. Aufgrund der hohen Aufprallgeschwindigkeiten im Verpackungsbehälter würde das Füllgut verrutschen, so daß eine hohe Fülldichte nicht erreichbar wäre. Bei empfindlichem Füllgut, z. Während bei den bekannten Verfahren (GB-A-20 46 711) das abzupackende Material mit undefinierter Geschwindigkeit gegen den Behälterboden des Verpackungsbehälters gestoßen wird, und zwar ohne vorder- und rückseitige Führung, werden die abzupackenden Folienverpackungen erfindungsgemäß mit gezielter Fördergeschwindigkeit bis zum Boden des Verpackungsbehälters transportiert, wobei sie vorderseitig sowie rückseitig abgestützt sind, so daß sich das gleichmäßig in der Verpackung verteilte Gut nicht einseitig verlagern kann. Die Erfindung bezieht sich ferner auf eine zur Durchführung des Verfahrens geeignete Vorrichtung - mit Transportbahn für Verpackungsbehälter, im wesentlichen horizontal verlaufendem Förderstreckenabschnitt mit tragenden Transportmitteln für das Zuführen von Folienverpackungen, an den horizontalen Förderstreckenabschnitt anschließenden bogenförmigen Förderstreckenabschnitt mit auf der Bogeninnenseite angeordnetem unteren Transportband und auf der Bogenaußenseite angeordnetem oberen Transportband, zwischen denen die Folienverpackungen einklemmbar sind, wobei das obere Transportband an einer Übergabestelle zum horizontalen Förderstreckenabschnitt über eine Umlenkrolle sowie an einem vertikalen Endabschnitt über ein Umlenkelement geführt ist, das in den Verpackungsbehälter einführbar ist. Diese Vorrichtung ist erfindungsgemäß dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der horizontale Förderstreckenabschnitt ein Förderband für die Zufuhr von Folienverpackungen sowie ein daran anschließendes, tiefer liegend angeordnetes und mit geringer Transportgeschwindigkeit angetriebenes Zwischenförderband aufweist, wobei die Folienverpackungen ohne Überlappung in Reihe hintereinander flach liegend auf dem Förderband heranführbar und auf dem Zwischenförderband schuppenförmig unter Bildung eines Beutelstrangs ablegbar sind und daß das Zwischenförderband kurzzeitig auf eine höhere Geschwindigkeit umschaltbar ist, wobei eine Lücke im Beutelstrang ausbildbar ist. Vorzugsweise ist die Umlenkrolle des oberen Transportbandes höhenverstellbar angeordnet. Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das obere Transportband über einen Bandspeicher und ein in Bandlaufrichtung verstellbares Umlenkelement geführt ist. - Der Übergang von der Füllung eines Verpackungsbehälters auf den nächsten leeren Verpackungsbehälter geschieht in der Weise, daß beim Übergang von der Förderstrecke mit den einzeln geförderten Folienverpackungen zu der Förderstrecke, wo die Schuppung stattfindet, durch schnellere bzw. langsamere Förderung eine Lücke geschaffen wird. Sobald die Lücke am Verpackungsbehälter ankommt, ist es möglich, den vollen Verpackungsbehälter durch einen leeren Verpackungsbehälter zu ersetzen. Das kann beispielsweise dadurch geschehen, daß das die im Verpackungsbehälter gebildete Stapelstelle überfassende Umlenkelement des bogenförmigen Förderstreckenabschnitts in Bandlaufrichtung zurück- und dann beim neuen Behälter wieder vorgestellt wird. Diese Art des Übergangs ist dann erforderlich, wenn der Verpackungsbehälter nur in der Ebene seiner Aufstandsfläche verschoben werden kann. Ferner wird dadurch gewährleistet, daß die gleichmäßige Verteilung des Füllgutes in den Beuteln erhalten bleibt. Dieses Eingeklemmtsein der Beutel geht auch dann nicht verloren, wenn der einzelne Beutel aus dem Wirkungsbereich des Bandes 9 gerät, weil beim ersten Beutel die Stirnwand des Kartons 1 die Führung übernimmt und dann die weiteren, geschuppten Beutel. Die Beutel 13 werden auch nach Verlassen des Bandes 9 mit definierter Fördergeschwindigkeit gefördert, weil sie bis zum Erreichen ihrer Endlage unter der Wirkung des zweiten Förderbandes 10 stehen. Da das zweite Förderband 10 nicht nachgiebig abgestützt ist, üben die in den Karton 1 geförderten Beutel einen der Kraftrichtung 18 entgegengerichteten Druck aus, so daß der Behälter mit dem Fortschritt der Füllung gegen die in Richtung des Pfeils 18 wirkende Kraft auf seiner Unterlage verschoben wird. Im einfachsten Fall kann der Karton auf einer Gleitbahn abgestellt sein, so daß der Druck ausreichen muß, um den Karton 1 in Bewegung zu setzen. Claims (4)

  1. A process for loading flexible sheet packages filled with material which is not fixed in position, particularly flat bags filled with pourable or flowable material, into packing cases, in which a bag train comprising sheet packages (6) lying imbricated on top of each other is advanced horizontally and loaded vertically into the packing case (1), filling of which starts at an end wall, via an arc-shaped conveyor section (4), wherein the bag train (8) is held in the arc-shaped conveyor section (4) between conveyor belts (9, 10), in the packing case (1) each sheet package sits closely against a deflection member (12) of the arc-shaped conveyor section (4) which dips into the packing case, and the packing case (1) is advanced under the effect of the pressure of the sheet packages fed in, wherein, in addition, after the completion of the filling process, the deflection member (12) is withdrawn from the packing case (1), the packing case (1) is transported away, and the deflection member (12) is inserted in a subsequent empty packing case, characterised in that the sheet packages (6) are advanced lying flat on a conveyor belt (5) in a row one behind the other without overlapping and are transferred to an intermediate conveyor belt (7) driven at a lower conveying speed with the formation of a bag train comprising sheet packages lying imbricated on top of each other, that the intermediate conveyor belt (7) is momentarily accelerated after receiving a predetermined number of sheet packages assigned to the packing case (1), wherein a bag train section (8) is formed with a subsequent gap, and that during the time interval which is predetermined by the gap the packing case (1) filled with the bag train section (8) is transported away and preparations are made for filling the following empty packing case.
  2. A device for carrying out the process according to Claim 1, with

       a transport path for packing cases (1),

       a conveyor track section (2, 3) running substantially horizontally with supporting conveyor means for feeding sheet packages (6),

       an arc-shaped conveyor track section (4) following the horizontal conveyor track section (2, 3), with a lower conveyor belt (9) disposed on the inside of the arc and an upper conveyor belt (10) disposed on the outside of the arc, between which the sheet packages can be squeezed,

    wherein the upper conveyor belt (10) is guided at a position of transfer to the horizontal conveyor track section via a deflection roller (11) and at a vertical end section via a deflection member (12) which can be introduced into the packing case (1), characterised in that the horizontal conveyor track section (2, 3) has a conveyor belt (5) for feeding sheet packages (6) and an intermediate conveyor belt (7), which follows and is disposed lower than the conveyor belt (5) and which is driven at a lower conveying speed, wherein the sheet packages (6), which are advanced on the conveyor belt (5) one behind the other without overlapping, can be deposited imbricated on the intermediate conveyor belt (7) with the formation of a bag train (8), and that after taking up a number of bags (6) assigned to the packing case the intermediate conveyor belt (7) can be momentarily changed over to a higher speed for the purpose of forming a gap in the bag train (8).
  3. A device according to Claim 2, characterised in that the deflection roller (11) of the upper conveyor belt (10) is disposed so that it is height-adjustable.
  4. A device according to Claims 2 or 3, characterised in that the upper conveyor belt (10) is guided via a belt store (17) and a deflection member (12) which is adjustable in the direction of travel of the belt.
