Comme illustré sur la figure 1 le boîtier comporte à sa partie dite supérieure un couvercle 1 et à sa partie dite "inférieure" une base 2 reliés du côté (dit par la suite "arrière") par une articulation 3 autour de laquelle le couvercle 1 peut pivoter autour de la base 2 lors de l'ouverture et de la fermeture du boîtier. Le boîtier peut être de forme quelconque : rectangulaire, carrée, ronde, ovale, etc... L'articulation 3 peut être une charnière comme représenté sur la figure annexée mais également tout dispositif connu permettant au couvercle de pivoter par rapport à la base. Sur le côté du boîtier le plus éloigné de l'articulation 3 (dit par la suite côté "avant") se trouve le dispositif de fermeture 4. Ce dispositif de fermeture 4 comprend comme élément mobile un poussoir basculant 5 associé à des éléments fixes 6 situés dans le couvercle 1 du boîtier et à des élements 7 situés dans la base 2 du boîtier. Les éléments fixes 6 et 7 se font vis à vis de façon à pouvoir coopérer avec le poussoir basculant 5. Dans la description donnée ci-dessous le dispositif 4 est décrit en position de fermeture. Le poussoir basculant 5 a la forme d'un T constitué d'une branche supérieure et d'une jambe centrale. La branche supérieure du T comporte à l'avant une barrette de manoeuvre 51 faisant saillie sur la bordure avant 1′ du couvercle. Cette barrette de manoeuvre 51 peut comporter à l'avant une surface plane comme représenté sur les figures 8 à 10 ou comporter une surface oblique 52 comme representé sur la figure 5 pour s'adapter à la forme de la bordure avant 1′ du couvercle. Elle pourrait également comporter une surface convexe. Selon le mode de réalisation représenté sur la figure 5 à l'arrière de la branche supérieure se trouvent disposés un pivot qui est constitué de deux tourillons 53 et 53′. Ils sont séparés par un méplat 57. Les tourillons 53, 53′ sont du côté de la jambe centrale reliés à la barrette de manoeuvre 51 par une surface inclinée continue. Du côté opposé ils sont reliés par un plan oblique 54 et un plan sensiblement parallèle à la jambe centrale du T 55. Entre le plan 55 et les deux tourillons 53, 53′ se trouve une gorge 56 sensiblement parallèle à la barre du T. Les deux tourillons 53, 53′ sont fixés à la barre du T par une surface aussi faible que possible mais cependant suffisante pour assurer une résistance mécanique convenable. Selon un autre mode de réalisation le pivot ne comporte pas de méplat. La jambe centrale du T est constituée par un doigt de verrouillage 58 sensiblement disposé selon l'axe de symétrie du poussoir basculant 5. Ce doigt de verrouillage 58 a une forme allongée parallélépipédique ou cylindrique.     - the movable element is a T-shaped tilting push button (5) constituted by a top arm and a central leg, the said top arm including, towards the front of the case, the manipulating strip projecting on the front edge of the lid in the closed position, and at the rear towards the articulation of the case, a pivot pin (53, 53′), the median plane of the manipulating strip being substantially parallel to the axis of the pivot pin but not containing it, the said central leg constituted by a latching prong (58) carrying at its lower end a hooking means (59);
    - the fixed elements (6) of the closing device carried by the lid define on the front edge (1′) of the lid, a window (61) for the passing of the manipulating strip (51) of the tilting push button (5), include a front cradle (64, 64′) which supports the pivot pin (53, 53′) of the tilting push button (5), the said front cradle (64, 64′) being internally carried by the front edge of the lid and moreover, on the one hand, a rear stop (66) whereon the tilting push button (5) comes to bear when the manipulating strip (51) is subjected to a thrust directed towards the inside of the case, on the other hand, at least one resilient tongue (65, 65′) which bears on the tilting push button (5) on the rear side of the manipulating strip (51) so as to push back the said strip (51) towards the front of the case and to keep the pivot pin (53, 53′) bearing on its front cradle (64, 64′) and
    - fixed elements (7) of the closing device situated on the base (2) of the case define a recess (74) located against the front edge of the base (2) of the case, the said recess (74) receiving the latching prong (58) when the case is in the closed position, the side of the recess perpendicular to the base of the case and situated towards the inside of the latter, including a retaining means (73) complementary to the means (59) for hooking the latching prong (58).
  2. A case according to claim 1, characterized in that the fixed elements (6) of the lid preferably include a rear cradle (68) allowing the pivot pin (53, 53′) of the tilting push button (5) to be immobilized against translation, the said pivot pin (53, 53′) being held between the front cradle (64, 64′) and the rear cradle (68) and kept to bear on the front cradle (64, 64′) by the resilient tongue (65, 65′).
  3. A case according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the latching prong (58) is a notch (59) defining a concave recess, the retaining means (73) carried by the side of the recess (74) of the base (2) of the case being an enlargement capable of being accommodated in the said concave recess.
  4. A case according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the fixed elements (6) of the lid preferably include two resilient tongues (65, 65′) disposed symmetrically relative to the rear stop (66) whereon the tilting push button (5) comes to bear.
  5. A case according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the pivot pin of the tilting push button is preferably constituted by two journals (53, 53′) separated by a flat part (57), the front cradle situated in the lid being constituted by two half-cradles (64, 64′) supporting the two journals (53, 53′).
  6. A case according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the rear cradle (68) forming part of the fixed elements (6) of the lid is constituted by a plate substantially parallel to the median plane of the window (61) of the front edge (1′) of the lid (1), the said plate including a cut (69) in its lower portion.
  7. A case according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the rear stop (66) whereon the tilting push button comes to bear, preferably includes an oblique surface (67) complementary to an oblique bearing surface, the said oblique bearing surface coming into contact with the said oblique surface when the manipulating strip is at the end of its depression path into the case.
  8. A case according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the tilting push button (5) preferably includes on the rear side of the manipulating strip and opposite the resilient tongue or tongues, a substantially planar surface (55) whereon the tongue or tongues (65, 65′) bear when the manipulating strip is in the position of closing the case.
  9. A case according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the front face of the manipulating strip (51) has a planar, oblique or convex shape which adapts to the front edge (1′) of the lid over which it projects.
  10. A case according to any one of claims 7 to 9, characterized in that the movable element (5) is a single part obtained by the moulding of a plastic material.
