Man verzichtet dann eher auf den Kettensägeneinsatz oder verwendet zu erheblich höheren Kosten zwei separate Systeme. Claims (14)

  1. A conversion device for a circular saw, the said circular saw comprising a housing, an electric drive motor with a motor output shaft, optionally a transmission, and at least one handle, wherein in order to fit a chain-saw adapter attachment (20) a supporting main bearing plate (21) is arranged on the said adapter attachment (20) and is mounted rotationally rigidly on the basic appliance (10) of the circular saw, a pinion (24) mounted on the main bearing plate (21) and driving the saw chain (11) is connected rotationally rigidly to the output shaft of the basic appliance (10) of the circular saw in that the main bearing plate (21) forms a bore (22) in which is held a bearing (23) which supports a receiving spindle (24') connected to the pinion (24) and is pressed onto the output shaft of the basic appliance (10) of the circular saw for the rotational entrainment of the pinion (24), wherein the pinion (24) is traversed by the output shaft of the basic appliance (10) of the circular saw and a bolt is screwed onto the stump of the shaft projecting beyond the pinion (24) for securing the adapter attachment axially.
  2. A conversion device according to Claim 1, characterized in that, in addition to screwing the chain-saw adapter attachment (20) by way of the output shaft passing through the pinion (24), the main bearing plate (21) is secured rotationally rigidly by stops resting mechanically on the housing of the circular saw.
  3. A conversion device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the stops securing the main bearing plate (21) rotationally rigidly are formed by at least one angle member projecting in the direction towards the transmission housing of the basic appliance of the circular saw.
  4. A conversion device according to Claim 3, characterized in that a second angle member forming a U-shape as a whole with the first angle member is secured to the main bearing plate (21), and with the first angle member embraces the adjacent transmission housing of the basic appliance of the circular saw on at least two sides and prevents it from rotating, the axial fastening being formed by the bolt (41) screwed onto the output shaft passing through the pinion (24).
  5. A conversion device according to Claim 1, characterized in that, in order to connect the receiving spindle (24') to the output shaft rotationally rigidly, the receiving spindle has an internal-face entrainment means while the shape of the output shaft matches accordingly.
  6. A conversion device according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the main bearing plate (21) supports the tongue (27) of the chain-saw adapter attachment (20) and at the same time a pre-set covering plate (31).
  7. A conversion device according to Claim 6, characterized in that a lower transverse arm (28) receives the tongue (27) in an opening (29) and secures it by way of at least one bolt connexion (30).
  8. A conversion device according to Claim 7, characterized in that the at least one bolt connexion (30) forms an elongate-hole connexion in order to be able to adjust the tongue (27) in the manner of a chain-tensioner.
  9. A conversion device according to Claim 6, characterized in that the covering plate (31) is connected to the main bearing plate (21) by way of spacers (32, 33, 34).
  10. A conversion device according to Claim 9, characterized in that the spacers are formed by a first spacer pin [acting] at the same time as a chain-catching pin, a second spacer pin securing at the same time a safety splitting wedge (35) at least in part and a third spacer pin (33).
  11. A conversion device according to Claim 10, characterized in that the covering plate (31) supports an oil tank (36) from which a drip tube connexion (37) extends as far as the tongue guide/chain entrainment means.
  12. A conversion device according to Claim 11, characterized in that the drip tube (37) is inserted into a groove in the main bearing plate (31) [sic], extends sealed with a transverse bent portion into the outlet opening of the oil tank (36) secured to the covering plate (31) and conveys lubricating oil to the tongue guide with a further lower bent portion.
  13. A conversion device according to one of Claims 1 to 12, characterized in that the front covering plate (31) has a lateral recess (38) into which a handle (18) on a gravity-return protection hood engages when the gravity-return protection hood is swung back and secures the gravity-return protection hood in this position.
  14. A conversion device according to one of Claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the saw foot (13) retained on the basic appliance (10) of the circular saw is used for a defined saw-cutting guide (angular cuts, parallel cuts).
