Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a support foot for the installation of the net posts of tennis nets or the like on the floor of tennis courts, which has generic features according to the preamble of
Such a support foot is known from DE-GM 7725037. With a support foot of this known type, greater mobility is to be achieved in order to be able to play various games on a sports field surface, in which nets are tensioned at different heights. However, such a support foot does not affect the problem underlying the invention.
On tennis courts, it is common practice to attach the tennis net to support posts that are firmly anchored in the ground at the edge of the playing surface or that can be inserted into a holder embedded in the ground are. As a result, the attachment of the network is tied to conditions that are determined by the normal size of a tennis court in a tennis court. A playground size designed for adult tennis players with the appropriate net height is unsuitable for children and often leads to disappointment because the tennis game is not appropriate for children. For this reason, good educational success and the associated enjoyment of playing tennis in short tennis have been found in children from around the age of 5. A short tennis court is about the size of a badminton court. The net has a much lower height, the ball has a lower internal pressure and the racket has a shortened grip. The utility model mentioned is not concerned with the design of the playing areas for short tennis.
The US-PS 4109910 describes a support foot for the net post of tennis nets, which can be placed loosely on the floor. According to this document, the stability should be achieved by filling the cavity with a flowable medium. This publication is also not concerned with the design of the support foot for purposes according to the invention.
According to this, the net posts are each held on a device made of two interconnected rods, which are brought into a special shape by bending and are supported with one end by means of a support foot on the floor and with the other ends form the bearing of a weight with which the other ends of the poles are supported on the floor. The round cross-sectional shape of the rotatably mounted weight between the rod ends allows the device to move on the square floor, the weight rolling on the square floor.
The object of the invention is to provide a support leg of the type mentioned, with the help of which on a tennis court for teaching children to play, the provision of several small play areas is temporarily possible without arrangements for the network attachment and, above all, damage to the majority very expensive and sensitive floor in halls but also in open spaces when setting up the tennis net be avoided.
The invention solves this problem by means of a support foot for a net post on which the tennis net is supported, which has the training features according to the
With these training features, a support foot can be designed, which can be placed loosely on the floor of the sports field and yet has sufficient stability to hold the tennis net. This applies in particular to tennis nets of short play facilities that are lower in height, in which the tilting moment resulting from the mains voltage and acting on the net poles is relatively low. This tipping moment is counteracted by the moment resulting from the load weight, which is arranged at a distance from the tipping axis. The elastic feet on the underside of the lever or the loading weight do not leave any traces on the floor surface of the sports field after the support foot has been picked up, in particular not even if it is a textile covering in a hall or the like.
The training features according to the invention are, however, also suitable for support feet for anchoring net posts for supporting tennis nets of conventional dimensions, because the dimensions of the support foot can be adapted without difficulty to higher net posts and correspondingly increased tilting moments, so that support feet according to the invention are particularly suitable for the temporary establishment of Tennis courts in large sports halls or the like are suitable.
The constructive design on the one hand generates a relatively large counter torque for the tilting moment resulting from the mains voltage and acts on the support foot, but on the other hand also creates a design that enables the support foot to be set up and cleared away after children have finished playing. The eccentric mounting of the rollers at the ends of a round load weight fulfills the purpose that these rollers can be brought into contact with the ground by pivoting the lever about the axis of the load weight, so that the children can rest the support foot on these rollers from the play area to a storage location can pull.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, an insertion sleeve is provided for fastening the net post on the upper side of the lever, the fastening point of which is arranged under the load weight in relation to the load weight within the feet. Such an insertion sleeve can be used at the same time for hanging the support foot on a pin or the like flat above the ground.
The upper end of the mesh post which can be connected to the support foot can be inserted into an insert pocket formed on the mesh edge, or such a mesh pocket can be placed over the upper end of the mesh post. The tension cord led out of the net edge is connected to the Load weight attached fixed eyelet or the like. This ensures that the vertical limit of the network rests close to the network post, so that a connection of the network to the network post can be omitted.
Flat suction cups made of elastic material, such as are commercially available, have proven useful for setting up the support foot on textile floors, artificial turf or the like.

- Figure 2
- a side view of the support foot, partly in section along the line II - II in Figure 1, with the end of the net attached to it.
The support leg consists of a
